To start off with my first impression, the receptionist (actually the surgical coordinator) Nancy was very personable. I'm sure she sees hundreds of people every week and yet managed to make me feel like more than just one more pair of eyes. She got me signed in, performed the vision tests to determine my prescription, set up for my appointment, helped me understand the financing, and gave me reminder calls for my appointments. This lady wears many hats and does it well. The doctor who performed my examination was Dr. Schnegg, and had me laughing with her quirky style, popping in and out of the focus lens etc. And I could not be more thankful for her supportive demeanor the day of the surgery. I was so full of anxiety in the waiting room and she helped me feel more comfortable before going in with Dr Legault. Dr. Legault was great, super friendly and supportive during the procedure. He talked me through what was happening and offered encouragement "you're doing great!" Etc which even though I wasn't doing anything but trying to stare at a light, it still alleviated some of the anxiety and fear I had from not being able to see and all the smells and sounds that come with such a procedure. I have great respect for his years of experience, and the passion one must have to go to work every day and go home smelling like burnt eyeballs. Thank you team! read more

I have completed my surgery and gone back for my first check-up. I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff is, from the ladies at check-in who always remember me, to the pre-check Miranda did so competently and Marissa who re-checked my vision after surgery. Though they were all very sweet, attentive, knowledgeable and professional, I can't leave out the doctors. Dr. Page double-checked everything before and after the surgery and answered all my questions. Dr. January is the highly skilled surgeon who went over the surgery before and after it was over and so skillfully and precisely completed my surgery in just a few minutes. I am incredibly proud that I chose to let LasikPlus on Jones-Maltsberger care for me. I am completely happy with my choice and the results. My optometrist before this, told me that I couldn't get a stronger prescription glasses and now I see better than I did with my glasses and it's only been 3 days since my Lasik! It's like the hands of time have been turned back. I haven't gone without glasses since I was 5 years old, almost 55 years ago!! Can you imagine? I can't recommend them highly enough. Now it's time for you to get your miracle eyes like I did, at LasikPlus on Jones-Maltsberger in San Antonio. read more

I went in for a consultation today and was approved for LASIK. The whole process was smooth and comfortable. The staff was courteous and professional, answering all my questions and giving me the information I needed to make an educated decision. I was immediately approved for financial assistance for the procedure and am scheduled to have it done tomorrow. I will continue to update this review as I heal from the LASIK procedure. The surgery itself was fast and mostly painless. I didn't really like the machine that holds your eye while they use the laser to produce the cornea flap. The whole process took about 10 minutes. When they were finished, I sat up and could see and read the writing on the back wall!!! I about cried because I was able to see and it wasn't just a colorful blur!!!The rest of the day, my eyes watered a lot. It was more tolerable the next day and I was able to continue about with my life. I'm just over 1 month post LASIK and I am seeing 20/20 and it's amazing!!!! I recommend anyone and everyone that wears corrective lenses to get evaluated and have this done. It has been life changing!!!! read more

I had a great experience at the Jones Moltsberger location! The surgery was very quick and relatively painless- only a bit uncomfortable. The 4 hour rest period was the worst at only a 5/10 pain/discomfort level- it felt like a ton of dirt in my eyes that I couldn't get out... (they give out Tylenol PM to help with the pain and to sleep but I'm allergic so I'm sure that would have helped a bit) But after that I got to use the eye drops and that helps a lot. One eye feels just a little scratchy and it's only the next day. They said my vision is 15/15 now! Dr January is an amazing, award winning surgeon and you are safe in his hands! Plus, he is funny and very kind. Dr Page provided the consult and was extremely friendly and open to answer any questions. All the staff was very pleasant to work with and seemed very caring! They reinforce all the details and instructions to ensure you remember and have the best recovery outcome! I am very grateful for this amazing team! read more

First of all this place is fantastic! Had my lasik about 3 yrs ago and let me say it's the best thing I could've ever done! Everyone is super friendly and everything is done at the same place. No meeting a doctor somewhere else in a back alley? All your follow-ups are done there as well as the surgery. Everyone is very professional and very helpful in educating you on your eyes. It's the best thing I could've done and I'm recomending friends and family members and I'm so happy I picked Lasik Plus in San Antonio! Second, you have SOME people who are just nutball's that don't take care of their responsabilities. You do have to do your part in ensuring everything is a success. Follow up care is need and drops are required for some time, unless the doctor indicates other wise. Most of the time all the complaints usually have to do with yourself not following the rules. Remember every time you point the finger at someone you have 3 coming back at you! read more

I put off getting LASIK for YEARS bc I was so incredibly nervous and thought all of the worst possible things that could go wrong. LASIK Plus was phenomenal. They let me ask my millions of questions twice, were very calming and made me feel at ease. The surgery was soooo quick. I thought people lied when they said how quick it was but no... it's truly like 25 seconds per eye. You feel some pressure and it goes dark and blurry, and then you see pretty, sparkling green lights. All done! I slept for 6hrs (they let you take your own anxiety pill right before and then Tylenol pm after) and I woke up being able to see. If you can have Dr. Brewer perform the lasik, do it. He had the best energy and made me feel even more at ease walking into the laser room. Honestly life changing. If you're even considering it, go get the free consultation and then DO IT IF YOU'RE ELIGIBLE!! read more

Honestly, I had already booked a procedure and went to LasikPlus only for a price comparison. However, the moment I walked into their office, I felt this was a better establishment. Rebecca was extremely helpful, honest and took her time explaining the operation and why I should choose LasikPlus. At no time did I feel rushed as I did at the other place. The rest of the staff was the same, very helpful and caring. Needless to say, I canceled my other appointment and booked with LasikPlus instead. Even on the day of my operation, and meeting Dr January, I still didn't feel rushed and received that same caring feeling from him. I had Monovision performed on me, and it's still weird that I can see the TV and read my phone without having to take off my glasses. I made the right choice and would highly recommend this office and can't thank them enough. read more

I can't even begin to tell you what an amazing experience I had. Dr. January was so comforting. I had myself a nervous wreck the day of surgery. I had decided to watch YouTube videos on lasik before going in....don't do that! He knew I was nervous and came out to talk to me, comfort me and crack jokes between other surgeries. He was amazing. He made the process a breeze and I walked out of their seeing the world! I am 3 days post lasik and have 20/15 vision. My eyes are still a little sore but nothing crazy. The procedure was so quick and painless, I truly had myself worked up for no reason. I highly recommend Dr. January and his staff to take care of you if this is something you are thinking of doing. I felt in good hands. Yes, the day of surgery I waited a few hours because their were people ahead of me, but it was worth the wait! read more

I just had my consultation today - and it was the friendliest, most informed medical visits I've ever had in my life! From the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave, customer service is sky high. The front desk staff were all smiles and really made me feel comfortable. Rebecca was my surgical technician and was quick, yet through, through all pre-consult steps and discussion. Dr. Page was extremely personable as we discussed my candidacy through my consultation. Alejandra, their LASIK coordinator, discussed payment and financing options before scheduling. This is especially helpful to know in order to make this life-altering procedure a possibility. There was not a moment where I was uneasy - so much so that I snagged their only opening for my procedure tomorrow! 5+ stars for LasikPlus! read more

First of all, Kristin really rocks! She is very knowledgeable and makes the intake process not only bearable but also fun. Marisa was also really good. She gave me all the information I needed and patiently explained what I did not understand. Dr. Page was also very good. He seemed to know what he was talking about and answered all my questions. What really impressed me is how patient they were with me even though it was late in the evening, past quitting time. None of them seemed to be in a rush to get me out of there so they could go home. This was the second opinion I got for this procedure, their thoroughness and friendliness is what made me decide to have my procedure done at this office instead of with the company I got my first opinion from. read more

After years of putting it to the side I finally made the decision to do lasik. I looked around to see what the best fit for me and I'm so happy I went with LASIK Plus. It was very affordable and the lifetime guarantee was the cherry on top. I had my consultation and 2 days later I was ready for eye surgery. They kept me up to date with reminders the whole time via email and text even after the work was done. The whole staff is amazing, helpful and very friendly. They make you feel so comfortable that by the time you know it the procedure is over. It literally took 2-3 min an eye, if that. I would definitely recommend LASIK Plus to anyone looking to make the change. I am completely satisfied with my decision. Thank you LP for an amazing experience. read more

When I first looked into getting LASIK - I went with the place that had a 5 star rating - and I do not regret it. This place earned its rating. The staff here is both friendly and knowledgeable and the Dr. and Surgeon have the best bedside manner. I went in for a consulation and was seeing 20/15 within a few days! I was extremely nervous about the procedure going in - but this staff takes care to guide you through the process and what to expect and i felt great assurance through the (very quick) procedure. They also are meticulous about the healing process. I've had friends who have done LASIK and my personal experience has been the best one I've heard of so far - all thanks to the LasikPlus team and especially Dr. January for an amazing job! read more

LasikPlus is an excellent facility with excellent employees. Everyone was very warm and welcoming took great care of me. Dr. Page is very down to earth and very involved in your care making sure that you get excellent feedback on your vision. I love the way he remembered who I was my circumstances required me to go out of town and he remembered and asked about my trip and how my vision did on the trip. Marissa and Kristin we're awesome getting my appointments all set up and also getting me some assistance to pay for my LASIK surgery. Great group of people awesome company Dr Webster was also very friendly answered all my questions and provided me with follow up. Thank you LasikPlus for wonderful experience and great eyesight. read more

I had been contemplating having Lasik surgery for years and one day I saw an ad for LasikPlus and decided to at least go in for the free consultation...which led to me scheduling my procedure appointment! (The military discount sealed the deal!) The staff is phenomenal and made me feel at ease every step of the way. I was extremely nervous the day of my procedure, but I knew I was in good hands. The greatest gift I could have given to myself is the gift of clear vision , and although I'm only a few days post op, I can already see 100x better than I could before... even with my glasses or contacts. This place is amazing, what they do is amazing, but I really believe that it's the staff that makes everything that much better. read more

Phenomenal staff, especially Nancy and Dr. Schnegg. Great pricing and discount. Prompt and attentive scheduling. Consultation phase was patient and accommodating. The Lasik process itself is terrifying and uncomfortable. I'm extremely satisfied with my experience and results. It blew my mind to be able to receive such great service and have the 20 minute operation the same day as the first appointment. I could see as good as contacts within 24 hours - just no near-sighted clarity within 6". Inform yourself beforehand about the Lasik procedure, the "monovision" option, and the large amount of recovery eye drops. If you can conquer the fear, reach out to this LasikPlus location! My life changed for the better. read more

One day post lasik and am seeing 20/20!!! That is huge for someone who for the last 20 years my vision was between -3 & -4.50 and have astigmatism. I couldn't do anything without glasses or contacts. I couldn't look at a clock or take the dog for a walk without them. We chose Lasik Plus because of the free tune ups (advantage plan). With my husband in the military we wanted a reputable national chain that will be with us as the military moves us. The staffs has been great. And the surgery was easy from start to finish. The customer service and professionalism of the team was excellent. Thanks for everything team. I appreciate all you do/did for me. This is the best investment I've ever done for myself. read more

I visited several LASIK vision centers for consultation and get a feel for the location and the employees. I wanted to ensure I was getting the best care for my vision correction. After careful consideration I chose LASIK plus because the staff seemed the most knowledgeable and friendly. The doctors were extremely kind and answered all my questions and concerns better than any other location. The doctor even called me personally the night before my surgery and the day after. I am still recovering as I chose to have the PRK procedure and the staff is still available and taking care of any concern I have. I recommend LASIK plus for any of your vision correction needs over any other location in San Antonio. read more

I tried to work with them, but nothing. I had Lasik back on Dec 20th, 2023. 6 months later my vision went poor and reverted back to original state. I left messages and called several times to have this addressed. Finally had someone reach out to reschedule me and they found out my eye site got worse. Since then, nothing. I paid for a lifetime warranty and my eye site is still bad and no one from San Antonio, TX office has done anything about it. I've lost patience and now will file a complaint and ask i receive a full refund and put a suit against this office for negligence. BBB and HIPPA will be notified along with attorney on these issues since they cannot honor their commitment to their patients. read more

LasikPlus has honestly changed the way I see the world! After doing some research and shopping around I met the staff at LasikPlus and immediately knew these are the people who I would trust to do my surgery. Last Friday I had my procedure and was immediately satisfied with the results. With my high astigmatism I had some initial reservations about the surgery but my only regret is that I did not get this done sooner. The procedure was fast and painless. I would like to thank the whole LasikPlus staff!
