Amazing care and wonderful results! I had my LASIK procedure done here a year ago, and after seeing my great results, my husband recently had his done too! Dr. Ryan Brewer and the entire staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional throughout both of our visits. They made the whole experience smooth and comfortable from beginning to end. We are both super happy with our vision and highly recommend Dr. Brewer to anyone looking for LASIK! read more

Came in on a Friday and by the next day I had my procedure done. The team was amazing answering any questions I had before and after the procedure. I know have 20/15 vision. Would definitely recommend. read more

They will roll out the red carpet to take your money. Even during surgery you feel like it was a good decision. The minute you need further assistant, follow up appt, the procedure didn't go as planned and you need a touch up, anything....good luck. They will kick the can as far as they can. They will not return phone calls. If you do get a follow up, fully expect to be in the room for 90 minutes while they see new consults to push towards surgery. You will be on the back burner. Their scheduling department is a joke with no visibility. I'd say you get what you pay for but seeing that the price is universal for most shops, who knows. My advice pick a place where you can call the office and actually take to someone to be seen. read more

If you've ever been interested in getting Lasik, I highly recommend in LasikPlus. From initial consult to out the door after my follow up appointment was 10 days, and that's 10 calendar days NOT BUSINESS DAYS. They took me from legally blind to 20/15 in less than a few minutes. The staff was great and the doctors were top notch. Dr Brewer, who preformed my surgery, was very personable and was able to calm my nerves prior to going into the procedure. They have a very efficient scheduling system. The fact that the procedure room was all glass and I could see the people getting their vision corrected in front of me and my family could see my procedure was very reassuring and pretty awesome. (See attached) Everything they tell you is accurate from the pressure you would feel as well as not being able to feel anything during the procedure; to the slight burning smell while the laser corrects your vision. The entire time Dr. Brewer was calm and reassuring as he and his staff spoke to me throughout the procedure. The post op care and directions were great. They prepared you for the feeling and sensations post op as well. I experienced a slight burn, less than you would if a lemon squirted in your eye for less than an hour. I was hazy / blurry post op and was crystal clear by the evening. Yes that is me and my eyes! If you have ever thought about it give LasikPlus a call. read more

LasikPlus was great. All of the staff were kind and helpful but Nancy was phenomenal! She was patient with me through my questions I'm sure she's heard a zillion times. I came in for a consult on Thursday, had LASIK done the same Saturday. Saw clearly Monday! read more

*Update* 6 years later and I'm experiencing some regression on my vision. I've contacted LASIK Plus and they were very helpful on explaining the process of for "possible" retouch. They did inform me of the possibility of regression but that it was rare. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I wasn't aware there was an approval process but from what I understand, you have to be a good candidate for a retouch. This requires going to an eye doctor at your expense and also requires a 24 hour liquid eye dilation. This means you can't have the liquid-less dilation test. Also, there is a form you have to have the optometrist fill out. Wish me luck. I had to pay for some eye glasses in the interim because they also informed me that the process takes 8 weeks to finalize. read more

I had my first appointment this last Wednesday, the staff was amazing. They helped me understand my options, and clearly explained the procedure and what the anticipated outcome would be. I was sold so I made appointment for Friday. Again, the staff explained what my procedure would be like. The process was very quick and painless. I went home and slept for 4 hours and when I woke up, I could actually see. No More Glasses, Yay I was so impressed I had my fiancé make an appointment and he will be getting his eyes for on Friday. And have recommended to several of my clients who were interested in what my experience was like. Thank you LasikPlus, you have changed my life. read more

Such a great experience. For someone who is very sensitive about her eyes, the thought of LASIK was scary. I chose to do same day consultation and if I was a candidate, surgery that day. Every staff member is incredibly considerate and thorough in explaining every thing. The surgery was 10 mins for both eyes, Dr Brewer was great and explained everything in depth. The first four hours after are tough but you sleep it off and wake up and can see! I haven't seen clearly in 24 years due to an astigmatism and I can see now! They have guaranteed payment plans that make it affordable as well. Thank you Lasik Plus! read more

First and foremost, this place is amazing and has changed my life. I have been wearing glasses/contacts for 17 years and have been TERRIFIED to get LASIK. Im so happy I did because now my vision is 20/15 after getting the procedure. I went in on a Thursday for a consult, Vanessa helped so much with explaining everything. She was very thorough and hands on. Answered any questions. Very informative. Just all around a great person that would make you feel safe. Especially with someone who has been so scared to do this. She told me they still had times available for the next day. So I went with it! Dr. Brewer was the surgeon for that day. He was very personable, easy to talk to, and walked me through the whole process before going in. All I can say is, if you're scared, just do it. You feel absolutely nothing and it's 10 seconds per eye. 10 seconds for clear vision is a great trade in my opinion. 10/10 will recommend this place! The whole experience was amazing! read more

Best decision of my life to get lasik. I was super scared in the operating room but the staff was super friendly and supportive and helped me calm down. They give you a pillow to hug that was a bonus for me since I was kinda scared! 10/10!! would recommend!!! read more

Had my lasik procedure done around 15-16 years ago now. After wearing glasses for most of my life, I almost got a point where I was mostly glasses-less, but my vision slowly started deteriorating. At first it was nothing major that made my eyesight anything but perfect rather than better than perfect, but as the years continued, I am now at a point where my astigmatism is back. Since LasikPlus offers a guarantee, I always felt assured that the money I paid was worth it because even if it didn't work out, I could do it again. That is where my poor rating begins. In order to get a new procedure, you have to go through their re-evaluation process which takes 6-8 weeks after a form is filled out as a result of a visit to your eye doctor. My eye appt was on April 19th and my doctor sent their form same day via fax. I would have assumed the 6-8 weeks started there, but I received an email from LasikPlus on May 13th stating the form was reviewed and being sent to medical staff for evaluation and the process would take... 6-8 weeks. As time went on, I finally called LasikPlus in July and have called at least five times now each time with no resolution and no callback. Initially they submitted a call back request and the last three times, I was told an urgent request was sent because they have no way to call the doctors directly to get me transferred over. So unfortunately I am left to write a negative review due to the lack of any callback or update on whether or not the warranty I was given will be upheld. I would have hoped the procedure would have lasted longer and can live with the fact that it didn't, but I don't appreciate being ignored after following all of the necessary steps to have my eyes corrected via a warranty they offer but are apparently unwilling to backup with action. read more

I had the surgery less than a year ago (in May). The surgery itself was fast and quite scary. They told me to stare at this light during the surgery and when I said I couldn't see it; I couldn't see anything at all, the doctor told me to stare at where I thought it might be. That eye never really got 20/20. But together with both my eyes, I can see 20/20. Anyways, my right eye has progressively gotten worse since December. I thought it was weather related, but it has gotten progressively worse over the course of a month-- enough for me to call today. Does they said "oh it's been over a year, definitely go to the optometrist," and after I corrected them and said it hasn't even been over a year, they went to check my files. So since I was "relieved" I couldn't go get check up by them. They just told me I should go to the optometrist since they don't think it's lasik related. I'm not sure what protocols they are following but it's not very good. If I'm going to pay over thousands of dollars for a surgery, I should definitely be taken care of. Hence the three star rating. I think it's irresponsible to not even take a look at your own patient before you send them off to another doctor. Aren't the doctors at this practice MDs and/or optometrist? read more

The process could not have been easier. I went in for a consultation and after a eye exam was told I could have lasik within the week. This was strange to me bc I was always told by people my astigmatism would be an issue. NOT the case for me at all. The procedure itself took no more than 10 min with a pain level I could only describe as a temporary mild discomfort. A couple days later at my follow up I was told I was seeing at 20/15 vision! I want to thank the staff and Dr. January at lasikplus for taking care of me and setting me free from glasses. My only regret is not doing this sooner. read more

I had a high astigmatism before I came to LasikPlus in November. I've wanted Lasik surgery for 10+ years and am beyond happy I was finally able to have the surgery. My experience with LasikPlus was phenomenal. They really do have the process down. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and Dr. Brewer was a fabulous surgeon. I wanted to leave a review because I read each Yelp! review before I came. I'm very happy with my Lasik experience and would 100% recommend this office and Dr. Brewer. It's been a little over a month since my surgery; my eyes feel great and my vision is better than ever! Thank you LasikPlus! read more

I Tried to rotate my "contact" just now but caught myself before I poked my eye & realized that I am simply just tired & only needed eye drops BECAUSE; ---- I CAN FINALLY SEE!!!! It's been easily over 10 years... I actually forgot what good vision was bc even with contacts & glasses they never actually worked on me very well bc my astigmatism was so awful. I just have to say - Thank you so much LASIKPLUS & Dr. January.... what you do is truly a miracle!!! I now have better than 20/20 vision.. I have 20/15!!!! What's crazy is how much energy I have now bc I'm no longer searching for glasses, worrying about them or rotating my contacts. I know I sound like an infomercial, however.... (as the surgeon put it): "The Queen of Astigmatism" has fully renounced & rebuked her title & I am FULLY enjoying no more starbursts on every lighted object at night, I'm enjoying driving at night & all hours of the day, getting to wear cheapo sunglasses THAT HAVE NO RX & exercising wherever & whenever I choose! It's really so great... everyone deserves to see without glasses &/or contacts!! My quality of life bar is being raised exponentially every single day! I'm genuinely happy for the first time in so long! I didn't realize how much my vision affected my level of happiness vs depression. It's just a HUGE stressor that is totally gone! I went from not even being able to read without a headache (and I'm a natural researcher, reader & thoughtful person so that was super difficult for me) to just reading, writing & doing whatever I choose daily without headache symptoms or worry. Also it doesn't hurt at all that the surgeon was very handsome.... Just saying. The first thing you get/want to see is a super handsome, funny & smart guy.... Way to go you, choosing such a perfect career! Yea I'm happy you're the first person I got to see when my vision was perfected after my "alien encounter." Keep up the amazing work!! You really know how to make things light, funny & not at all scary!! YOU ARE AWESOME!! THANKS AGAIN! Dr. January told me the surgery experience would be a cross between a disco club and an alien obduction. As I laid down on the operating table, Bob Marley played at level 6 (almost a good distraction from the lasers that were about to probe my eyes). The operating team immediately went to work like a well oiled machine. I appreciate the fact that they were so fast, because the surgery itself is not what anyone would consider a comfortable experience. After the surgery, I went straight home. Between the tears and the boogers that followed suit, it took me an hour to fall asleep. 1.5 total hours of uncomfortableness to have perfect vision for the rest of my life. It was a fair trade and the best money I have ever spent. With Care Credit, I was able to afford the surgery at zero percent interest (as long as the entire balance is paid within a year). I am looking forward to a glasses-free motorcycle riding experience. My head protection will no longer ruin my eye protection! read more

Today is my second day check up after my LASIK. I felt so good about everything. After I did the surgery yesterday I felt so sensitive so I slept the whole day, and today I can keep my eyes open and they both feel comfortable, exp I don't want to make them tired yet. This entire experience for me is amazing. I just heard they have a free check for Lasik from radio then I made an appointment. At the appointment all the reps and doctors are so nice and they did a full professional detailed checkup for me. By the time they gave me a very reasonable price for both eyes and with life time warrantee I had just decided to do it. The whole process of the surgery was live on screen of the surgery room that built by glass walls. I love this concept. The family and others can see exactly what is happening in the surgery. Doctor Brewer and other staff are very professional and skilled. They gave me confidant to trust them throughout the surgery and now my turn out is great. Right now I can see very far yet I still see some halo but doctor Drake told me this is very normal and I will expect better visions in about two weeks. I can't wait to get more excited and I will follow up by then. read more

So this morning I did a thing NO MORE GLASSE‍I was able to get this procedure done same day, and am home resting. I am able to see PERFECTLY! I can't believe the down time is 4 hours (nice little nap nap) and the procedure took 15 mins total. The staff was absolutely amazing from start to finish and I am so happy with my decision. The best of all was Marisa she hugged me before I went in and helped calm my nerves and was just the sweetest person I have ever met. ‍ If anyone is in the San Antonio area is thinking of getting this affordable quick procedure done I highly recommend the staff and doctors LasikPlus What a wonderful gift I've been given! read more

After seven years of debate, I finally took the plunge. On January 12, 2018, I had the Lasik eye correction procedure. I chose to look into LasikPlus because of its outstanding ratings, but it was the staff, from the front desk to the techs and ultimately Dr. January, that made me decide LasikPlus and I were a good match. I have been wearing glasses since I was 12 and contact lenses since I was 16 and NOTHING compares to being able to see through your own eyes. It hasn't even been 24 hours, and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was to turn over, look at my clock, and see the time. How amazing it was to gaze at my children and see their faces without obstruction; being able to go to the grocery store and see clear across the store... not even 24 hours later. If you are considering corrective vision surgery, I highly suggest going to the free consultation LasikPlus offers. The procedure can be expensive, but the pros phenomenally outweigh the price. read more

Great experience so far! I'm getting my LASIK procedure today. One week ago I came in for my LASIK consultation and felt very comfortable from start to finish. I had great conversation with her throughout and she really knew her stuff. Dr. Page performed the last portion of my exam and he also was personable. He gave me total peace of mind. I'm really looking forward to my procedure today! I would highly recommend this office. You won't regret it. Post LASIK Update: Just came for my LASIK one month post op. I went in for my free exam to determine if I was a candidate. It turned out that I was a candidate, but I would still need reading glasses. Because I would still need glasses I decided not to get the surgery. My low rating came from the fact that on two occasions during the exam process I was not given information, but when I questioned the person I was told I had been given the information. My wife was with me throughout the entire process and confirmed that in fact I was not provided accurate information, until I questioned it. If it had been once, I would have written it off as circumstance, but twice inside a thirty minute time period for a medical practice is unacceptable in my opinion. read more
