I scheduled a LASIK consultation online a couple of weeks ago. Upon arriving, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The first woman I spoke with asked me some standard questions about my eye history and performed a few tests to see if I was a good candidate for LASIK. She was very easy going and most importantly, knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and gave me information on things I didn't think to ask. Next, I met with another doctor who I did a few more tests with. He was also very friendly, knowledgeable, and addressed some concerns he had. I had my surgery 2 weeks after my consultation which was about 5 days ago. The whole procedure was something out of a sci-fi film. I wouldn't say anything about it was painful, but there are definitely some moments of odd discomfort that are unique to the procedure itself. Again, not painful, but very unpleasant. Despite that, the staff remained calm and talked me through what was going on. I would say it lasted about 15-20 minutes. I had a follow-up appointment the next morning to see how my eyes were healing. The check up was quick, and I'm now seeing 20/20. I still have a long recovery until my vision stabilizes at its peak, but so far, so good. I have another appointment in 1 month to check my progress but was told I'm welcome to see the doctor should I have any concerns until then. Overall, a great and life changing experience. Hands down the best decision I've ever made!!! Just got my surgery yesterday, the hardest part of recovery only lasted a few hours, fell asleep, and woke up like a new person. It was really something. The dryness experienced after is WELL worth being able to see the world again (which is just a part of the recovery period). This was my second option after shopping around for lasik. I had been to other places but for some reason LasikPlus felt good to me. Staff is very friendly, they are very informative. I went in for a free consultation and I left booking my procedure. They accommodated to my busy work schedule and within 10 days I had my procedure. I was very nervous day of lasik. Dr. Brewer sat me down and told me step by step what is going to happen. This made me feel a little more relaxed knowing what's going to happen. When my name was called all the staff in the room were super friendly and made me feel comfortable. They talked to me through the whole procedure. In less that 10 minutes both eyes were done and I was taking a picture with Dr. Brewer and my new eyes. The ride home was a little painful only because the numbing drops wore off but after a 4 hour nap I woke up seeing without glasses. It was amazing. I showed up at 415 because I got out of work early. Without hesitation they fit me in and I was out the door by 430. Best staff and doctors. They were really nice until the day of the surgery. One thing to note is that you need to go to your 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and 3 month appointment in order for lifetime guarantee to take place. People are slow at the office and the times available for appointments are very limited, making it hard to make all the appointments. So I finally decided to go ahead and receive LASIK eye surgery. This place is amazing. They helped me with any questions I had told me what to expect made me feel right at ease.
