Overall, the procedure delivered as advertised, and I'm happy with the results - I can see clearly without glasses. Unfortunately, the post-op experience was very disappointing. The mandatory follow-up felt disorganized and impersonal. All patients were scheduled at the same time, which made the process feel rushed and overcrowded rather than patient-focused. The "lifetime warranty" was emphasized in a way that felt more like pressure than a benefit. I was told the follow-up appointment would take 15-20 minutes, but it ended up taking closer to two hours. For comparison, the actual procedure only took about 40 minutes. There didn't seem to be much respect for patients' time, and I was not given the option to reschedule. Hearing explanations about staffing call-outs during an appointment related to my vision did not inspire confidence. BUYER BEWARE!! I went in to have my nearsightedness corrected. everyone was very nice to me and took me through the process. I went in at 47 years of age and had not needed reading glasses as of yet in life. When I went in for the consultation the doctor asked me if I liked the mono vision which would allow me to never need reading glasses, the glasses simulator allowed me to try it out and I did not like it. It set off my Vertigo horribly. So the doctor adjusted the simulator and said can you read this paper? I said yes he advised I would not need reading glasses for a while then and everything should be fine and I was showing 20/15 vision. I was so excited to have the surgery done! I am no post op 6 weeks and I cannot see anything clearly at arms length. When I called in about this they said oh yes we went over this with you in your consultation. I said you most certainly did not. I work with paperwork all day which I cannot see, my food is blurry, my phone is blurry, my nieces face is blurry!!! I was driving and trying to read GPS I had to choose to see the road or put on a pair of readers and see my phone. AND NOW I cannot wear contacts to correct readers, so I am stuck in glasses 24/7, where at lease before I had a choice of glasses. They have actively ruined my life and just want to keep offering me BS excuses. DO NOT DO THIS if you want to see anything close to your self not through readers for the rest of your life. read more

Been wanting to do lasik for quite some time and finally just scheduled an appointment and went in to see if I even qualified. Dr. Duffield was amazing. Walked me through every step and made sure everything was understood. Dr. Hagan was awesome during surgery. It's been over 6 years since my Lasik surgery and I've noticed the vision in one of my eyes was changing back and causing me severe headaches. Since they have a lifetime guarantee, I contacted LasikPlus to schedule another consultation. They did an eye exam to confirm what I was reporting, and since I did not have the need to go see a regular eye doctor since having Lasik. I was a good candidate for another re-treatment for my right eye only, my left eye was still 20/20. Because I already had Lasik done before, I was a good candidate for PRK and scheduled the surgery. Dr. Orta is still there and she is just as wonderful and pleasant as ever, and remembered me from 6 years ago. She did my initial eye exam and explained that PRK would be the best choice for a re-treatment, and that the recovery time would take longer. I prepared for surgery day and took a week off work. Dr. Endicott did my surgery, and he was also great with putting me at ease before, during, and after the surgery (even though it was my second go around). They do surgeries on Fridays only due to the recovery time, and there were five people before me getting the surgery as well. One patient was very nervous, but Dr. Endicott and the staff assisting were awesome with keeping them comfortable. The aftermath was not as bad as I remembered the first time, and I was given the medicated eye drops and pain pills if I needed them. The only downside was NO electronics (phone, TV, etc.) for five days and to only drive when I feel confortable. I had two more follow up appointments to make sure my eye healed and that my vision was corrected. Everything turned out great and I was told I don't have to get an eye exam in the future, only again if I notice any changes in my vision. The best part? I only paid for the eye drops out of pocket. Today was just a consultation but the office was amazing. I couldn't ask for a more friendlier​, customer service​​e oriented office. I'd never considered​ LASKI before but my husband decided I should​ have it done and he was the one that actually made the appointment. I just can't rave enough about how pleasant the entire staff was. The initial​ consult is as stated about 90 minutes. When you initially​ arrive you're asked to complete your registration via an Ipad. Once that is completed you go for your first line of eye testing. The young lady had me do a series of regular test that's performed at your eye doctor. Once I finished there I went into another room where she read the Rx from my glasses and performed another round of eye test. She then tells​ you which eye is your dominant​t eye. This is information I never knew. Once you finish in there you then go into another room where you're​ informed on whether or not you're a candidate or not, she talks pricing, and your eyes are dilated for further testing. Once dilated and after testing you then see the doctor. Dr. Orta was so very nice and sweet. She was very friendly, and low and behold she stated that I only needed one eye done. I'll take it less​ money to be spent. After seeing the Dr. you check out and discuss scheduling​ and payment options. They do have in-house​ financing or Care Credit both of which your credit will be checked. I'm definitely looking forward to having the procedure and being glass & contact-free​ after about 30 years. My husband booked an appointment here for LASIK. On the day of the surgery we arrived at the established time. I want to say they tell you ahead of time that you will have a wait. The extent of that wait wasn't really clear to me but I can tell you now that it is at least 2 hours depending on how many people are scheduled. The surgery itself only takes about 15 minutes with a short recovery time. Unfortunately for me, I had to pick up our son across town at daycare. I waited for just over 2 1/2 hours and then had to leave my husband there to go pick up. Okay so the bad is out of the way. Again, believe them when they say there is a wait. The staff and doctor were all excellent and provided great customer service. The surgery could not have gone better. They ask you to take Advil PM prior to the appmt...If I end up doing this I'll have to have something stronger. My husband said you are awake during the entire procedure and the smell is not pleasant (b/c you know they are lasering your eyeball and all) but was not painful at all. After the surgery he went home and slept the rest of the evening. When he woke up the next morning his eyesight was perfect. He even drove himself to the doctors office that morning for his follow up appmt. He said his eyes got even better after a few days. There is an uncomfortable time where you need to keep on hand the liquid tears they give you. For the first couple of weeks you need those all the time. I also had to make sure he slept with protective eye cover on every night for about a week but it wasn't an issue and after time he ended up just using his sunglasses to sleep so he didn't rub or hit his eyes. My husband said it was the best thing he ever did...guess its time for me seeing as I'm blinder than a bat :)! read more

I called after years of thinking about getting lasik. I've been in glasses for around 20 years, but saw a tv show on lasik around 10 years ago and got scared off of the process after seeing the blade used to create the flap. Last year, I decided that I would at least schedule a consultation to learn more and then heard an ad spot for $250 lasik and came in for a consult. The $250 lasik is for eyes that aren't that bad, i.e. not my eyes. Before the procedure, my eyes were -4.50 and now, they are better than perfect. 20/15. The people here have been so nice and helpful! No regrets about the procedure or the place. One thing to be aware of is that afterwards, you will have bruising on your eyes and get weird looks for 2-3 weeks. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Made the drive from Savannah. Did the deposit of $1200.00. Checked multiple times if I could do my 1-3 day review of my eyes on Saturday. Seeing as how I made the drive from Savannah, Ga. last minute get told I can't. That they aren't open on Saturdays. Despite being told they were and google even has their hours of operation 8am-5pm for Saturday's. I asked for my 1200.00 back which they didn't seem to care about. I guess when you have a lobby full of patients you can afford not to care about losing some here and there. Avoid this place. read more

I had a 9 AM appointment this morning after waiting 30 minutes I approached the front counter asked how much longer it was going to be? Lady stated they still had multiple patients waiting and hopefully they can get me in in the next half hour. People have work and take time off to go to these appointments. It's pretty inconsiderate of people's time to leave them sitting around for an hour before being seen. Had PRK done here and I'm very happy with the results. The cost is lower than some other consults I had, probably because outside of the surgery the other service received here is pretty basic. After years of struggling with contacts and glasses and seeing how much I'll save in the end to go ahead and get LASIK, I decided to opt for a consultation. Booked it online, super simple. Did my registration paperwork online as well. I was emailed, called, and sent a remainder in the mail of my appointment which I love and find very helpful. I got emails leading up to my consultation of what to expect, how long to plan to be there, etc. My consultation was super simple and easy. The ONLY downfalls were when it was finally my turn with the ophthalmologist, there was a staff member who reminded him before I entered the room, "Remember, there's others waiting too!" and she even knocked and came in the exam room when I was asking my questions. I'm going to ask all my questions and to the right person while I have his time! (The usual scheduled ophthalmologist was on vaca). And I had my eyes tested and dilated (you can't see much!) the lady started blurting numbers out at me pertaining to how much it was going to cost. Luckily I had my mathematical savvy husband with me who made sure it all sounded right. I didn't like how she did that... I over looked the eager staff members and proceeded. Got to the check out counter and again, they give you paperwork pertaining to cost while your eyes are still very blurry and you can't really see! I was suppose to receive a folder detailing information about my procedure that I didn't get until the day of my procedure. So I had done online research further between times. They scheduled me for surgery in 2 weeks, got me in super early. The surgeon, Dr. Alban, is hands down the most friendliest individual on the earth. She talked me through the entire thing, reminding me to breathe, and kept words of encouragement. The usual ophthalmologist is also super super sweet and very thorough. I was very happy with the procedure. Follow up appointment was super simple as well. I have and will continue to recommend LASIKPlus. Word of advise though- DRINK DRINK DRINK! You are likely to get dehydrated after the procedure. I wish I would've had a Gatorade to sip on the car ride home. Very professional and courteous before the operation. They explained exactly what was going to happen on the day of surgery. They clearly explained the steps of the procedure, the outcome, how I would feel, and the recovery. I am not going to lie, the actual surgery was an awful experience but as the surgeon said, you have to remember that this is eye surgery. The first five hours after the procedure were absolutely miserable, but after that I was able to open my eyes and it was amazing...I could see! I am three days post op and I could not be happier. I have some broken blood vessels in the whites of my eyes due to the suction part of the surgery but that will clear in a few weeks. My vision was a little hazy but has progressively cleared. When I went back for my post op appointment I was overjoyed to find out that I have 20/15 vision! Better than perfect! This is so wild for me because I was as blind as a bat before. Well I went from a 5 star rating to this because of the lifetime warranty service requirements. Lets me say that having this procedure was a wonderful "eye-opening" experience. I can't rave enough about how I went from coke-rim eyeglasses to perfect vision. I highly recommend anyone getting lasik done to improve your eye quality of life. With that said, my experience now returning after many years if not wonderful. I am told, even though I paid extensively for a lifetime warranty service, that I must have my eyes checked by a local O.D. which includes eye dilation and a form they must complete and fax back to Lasik Plus. Ok, I will do this even though I didn't do this to get my initial Lasik ~~they were more than happy to give me a complete eye check-up to determine if I was a candidate for Lasik initially. Now, to add fuel to the fire, the want to charge me $75 for their examination after my O.D. eye test to determine if I can get follow-up Lasik as my eyes have slowly deteriorated to where I need reading glasses all the time. It seems excessive to send me to my O.D. and then after all that charge me for further testing by your company to cover warranty work. It is too bad that a great experience and something I would gladly recommend turns into a great hassle. I guess I would say get Lasik but beware of warranty work. Look for another company to do your eyes and asks if this is the way they do it. After 10 years, the least they can do is see if I could use my warranty!!! read more
