My visit began after so many social media adda for free consultation ... "LASIK starting at $495.00 per eye" staff nice ... office nice Assessment conversation directly went to RLE at 8880$ fo the pair ... Flexible Finance Option -- Beware you're signing up for a credit card!!! All I was told was 12months no interest. Update: finance department called me back. And I wish I could attach the recording of the call to show you how disrespectful the person was. I was just out of words and I asked him repeatedly to just listen for a second and he just continued to talk over me? How can I answer your question if you don't let me speak? We can pull out the video cameras and it will show the application was made before the contract was shown to me. He made it seem like I was stupid. But these days there's lots of lenders who make these financing options available without a credit card. There was no mention of a credit card at all when we were sitting in that office. I only found out after another eye centre said "it looks like you applied for the credit card" Honestly I'm just glad the other people who followed up were open to listen and ready to find the next step, instead of screaming at me. I came specifically here because of a recommendation from a good friend, but I will not recommend this place at all. read more

I've been wanting to have my eyes corrected for many years, but put it off because if there were any negative issues it could put a sudden end to my career. Wednesday I worked my last shift, and Friday I had my LASIK surgery done. I certainly am happy with the decision to go through with it. The entire process was smooth and easy, and the people at this location were absolutely excellent. As a 57 year-old, I was a little concerned that these old eyes could cause issues, but it seems like my age was not a major concern. I dealt mostly with Alyssa and Adriana (hope that's how they are spelled) and they were professional, but also caring and supportive. The time spent with Dr. Nagy was very brief, but he, and everyone else, was careful to make sure that I had no unanswered questions or concerns. The procedure itself was a little stressful for me - I get a little squeamish - but I was provided a gentle sedative, which helped out. There was some mild discomfort during the procedure, but it was brief. The rest of the day there was only a very mild level of dryness and very slight stinging in my eyes. The next day (today) there is no pain at all, and my vision is 20/20! I am only 30 hours into my new correction-free life, and looking forward to things like backpacking and sailing without having to worry about either glasses or contact lenses! read more

Every time I have gone into Lasik MD they are very kind and helpful! I am over the moon excited about the fact that I can see so well without having to use glasses anymore. This was the best life upgrade decision I could have made. If I could have afforded it I would have done it 10 years ago. I got the Advanced Laser procedure, something that's fairly new, and could not be happier. Even immediately after the surgery my vision was pretty good, and by the next morning I was clear, my eyes weren't dry, and I was at 20/20+. Honestly I expected the recovery to be much worse but it's been completely fine - I've had more discomfort from contact lenses! The whole procedure from initial booking to follow up post surgery was seamless, and I was able to get it done within a couple weeks of my initial consultation. I paid $3390 for both eyes for the advanced laser option with a lifetime warranty which included a discount because I am with Pacific Blue Cross, and once I submit to my providers I'll get back about $900 more. For reference, my starting prescription was -5.0 and -3.5. The whole team was organized, caring, and I would recommend this procedure to anyone! They should offer a referral incentive because I've already got at least 2 people convinced ;) read more

A couple of months ago, and just in time for his birthday, the BF decided to take the plunge and FINALLY get laser eye correction done. He's literally been talking about this since we met (seven years ago, ahem) and I was so excited for him to be done with his glasses/contact lens habit! He picked Lasik over a few other options because he'd heard a couple of good first-hand reviews and they had the time to fit him in on his vacation and from the care-taker perspective I'm certainly happy he did. I can't speak to the doctor himself, but the staff at the Surrey location were fabulous. They were very helpfula and informative and took all my information so I could be contacted about an hour before the BF could be released. They were also much quicker than they said (the receptionist said 4 to 5 hours but they called me at 3 to say hurry back)! The location is clean and comfortable and easy to access as it's right off the freeway. If you're considering laser eye surgery, I wouldn't hesitate to book an appointment here. read more

I was a little nervous about getting my laser eye surgery done, but after having my free consultation and having the free testing done prior to surgery at the Surrey clinic, I was not anymore. The staff are supportive and very well informed. They helped calm my nerves every step of the way. I would like to thank all these wonderful people who are changing lives like mine daily. I came here for my consultation and got my surgery done here as well. From the receptionists being super friendly and helpful, to the free cookies and coffee, my being welcome was apparent. All of the staff were very professional and understanding with my questions and concerns. The day of surgery went smoothly and the post op follow ups have been excellent as well. I would highly recommend anyone considering this to go and get a free consultation and do it there. Well worth it! read more

I have heard from a friend of mine about Lasik MD Surrey location. I always wanted to have the eye sight correction done and finally decided to go for it. I was not disappointed, the consultation, pre and post op was of the highest caliber. I was very well informed and prepared. I was given a few options and I didn't feel like I was directed towards more expensive ones . I will have to have a correction on my dominant eye but it is also my choice as I have 20/20 together. The appointments are made to suit my schedule and the waiting is minimal or none. Moreover , the warranty as well as locations throughout the country are providing worry-free aftercare for years to come. Thank you , job very well done! read more

The receptionist needs to learn what professionalism means, and the on call doctor (that I had), made me feel so uncomfortable and terrible about myself. I left not even knowing if my eye injury was all better, and NEVER coming here again. The only hindsight was the assistant, she seriously needs a raise.

We recently found out that Dr. O has left this practice and decided to call again this morning. My husband called and was told the results are not in yet, he asked if Dr. O was still there, and was told no. The receptionist finally said the results have not been read, and that he would have to get them sent to another clinic to be read and then was hung up on. I am not sure how this is morally responsible to hang up on your clients and or not try to help them. He will not be visiting this practice again as clearly the staff are much too busy to do their job correctly and efficiently and certainly do not care about their clients.

I was super impressed with how my eye surgery experience was with Lasik MD. I was initially terrified of the whole procedure, but the staff were very thorough in educating me, taking me step by step through each process leading up to the surgery. They were friendly and reassuring, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience over something I found difficult to endure. Now my vision is better than it's been, well, ever!!! It's really a life changer and I owe it to all the staff at Lasik MD Surrey, and my surgeon Dr. Boudreault. The surgeon was able to sit me down and personally describe to me the steps of the surgery before we began and walked me through the procedure as it was happening so I would not be surprised. I'm so thankful for everything Lasik MD has given me in terms of experience and the gift of being able to see without needing glasses! Now I am able to purchase non-prescription sunglasses and to be able to wake up in the morning, not worrying about reaching around for my glasses or having the hassle of putting on my contact lenses and having my eyes constantly dry out. From the moment I walked in at my consultation, I was greeted by the receptionist. She confirmed my appointment and then directed me to the lounge where I was offered tea, codfee, and cookies. Everyone was extremely professional, kind, and very welcoming. I received a lot of information and everyone made sure I understood what I was a canidate for. My entire experience was very thorough. During my surgery appointment, everything went smoothly. The surgeon was very kind and everyone in the OR made me feel comfortable and calm. Even after the surgery I was impressed with how great my vision was already. It only got better from there. In only wish I did this sooner. I had mine done at the Surrey location and staff were very nice and easy to book schedule. The Dr. Nagy was calm and very straight forward with the procedure before it starts. My experience was very quick and easy except for the financial part. I wanted to finance it but then it took too long for the approval and I was not able to do it, but luckily my mom was there with me and paid the rest of the fee that I cannot handle. My recovery was also easy and within a day I can see very clear and not looking for my glasses the next day. That was the best feeling ever! read more

I started having dry eyes and my contacts started flipping on the ends i decided it was too much after wearing contacts for 10 years I was gonna go to a different company but coincidentally i got a flyer of lasik through the mail and called in and set up a free consultation and the day of surgery and after proved that lasik was one of the best decisions of my life no more dry eyes or problems with contacts eveyone should give it a try its worth it and its not expensive in my opinion thanks lasik :D read more

Terrific experience. I had a free consultation which I felt was a bit rushed so I had a full exam with my regular optometrist but for surgery day it was great! And it's only day 2 but I'm thrilled with the results. Great Service and Friendly Staff. Sukhdeep was amazing and answered all my questions. I was very nervous before surgery, but on the day of the procedure, the staff made me feel incredibly comfortable. Finally, after the surgery, I experienced some dryness in my left eye.
