Comments re dissatisfaction with treatment time is not warrented as all patients are advised to allow upto two hours for each appointment as various procedures are undertaken, several involve time for dilation, freezing, etc, to take place, all requiring sequential time for various drops, etc to take effect. The treatments and process are first class, as are all the staff.

My first referral was a same day event - my doctor called during his examination of my eyes, and I was accommodated for some laser surgery that afternoon. The second referral was for a different matter, not quite as immediate in nature, but necessary for some observation, as I was in line for cataract surgery, and it had to be assessed, and attended to, if necessary, before my operation due date. I have nothing but great things to say about how I have been treated. Professional clinical testings, examinations, and diagnoses -- each followed though to the appropriate procedural responses.

I received exceptional care from 2 employees today. Because my morning had been stressful, I arrived at the office having forgotten to remove my contact lenses. The receptionist kindly helped me resolve this problem and also provided me with a face mask. But what happened following my consultation with the doctor was truly amazing. Because my eyes were dilated and my vision seriously impaired, I could not use my phone to call an Uber and I really needed a ride because it was snowing. An assistant named Alberto leapt to my assistance, offering to book a pick-up on my behalf. When he accessed the app on my phone, we discovered my credit card information needed updating. He helped me through this process in private and then input my request for a ride. When the driver was on the way, which took only a couple of minutes, he offered to accompany me down on the elevator and out onto the street so that he could ensure the car arrived and I actually got into it. We stood on the street corner in the snow (him shivering without a jacket), his fingers flying on the screen to indicate to the driver our exact location. Bingo, the car arrived within seconds and he helped me into the rear seat. I couldn't escape the feeling that I must have come across as a seriously foolish and inept old woman. But I don't believe Alberto thought that at all. He is simply a very kind man, dedicated to doing his best for all the patients, and happy to go out of his way to help a senior overcome some obstacles. This experience restored my faith in the milk of human kindness.

You will feel like a cog in the wheel and you only get minimal time to see the doctor so get your questions ready. Dr. Lin and his team at Pacific Laser Eye Centre have destroyed my eyes and ruined my life…read more I should never have been deemed a candidate due to my underlying conditions fully disclosed to them pre-op and a very mild prescription, yet they were dishonest with me and deemed me a candidate anyway. They downplayed all my concerns and outright lied about risks I inquired about. They didn't disclose a lot of serious risks especially in my case. They promised me "vision as good as glasses or better"..Immediately post op I got all kinds of terrible visual distortions, both day time and night time. My concerns were dismissed every time and I was told it's normal part of healing and should go away by 3-6 months. Several months post op now, I have a long list of awful complications, from visual distortions to horrible chronic pain, severe dry eyes which all led to severe depression. This nightmare could have been easily avoided if Dr. Lin and his team (Winnie, Gina, other techs) were honest with me and ethical people, disclosing all the risks properly, rejecting me as a candidate based on my condition and certain measurements they've done that proved increased risks of complications in my case, something they never disclosed to me. Instead, they chose to deceive me and destroy my life for profit. Shame on all of you.

My vision deteriorated rapidly in the affected eye leaving me with a significant imbalance in my vision which couldn't be effectively corrected with glasses, and I had been wanting laser correction for many years. However, my retinal specialist advised waiting until my uveitis was stable, which took over 20 years. Throughout that time, he consistently recommended Dr. David Lin as the only surgeon I should consider, provided he deemed an eligible candidate. From the very first interaction with Pacific Laser Eye Centre, I was impressed by how knowledgeable and informative Tiffany was. This level of professionalism and competency continued with everyone I interacted with at the clinic. All my questions, and I had a lot, were answered thoroughly and promptly. When I met Dr. Lin, I instantly felt confident in his expertise and reaffirmed that I had made the right choice. The procedure itself was quick and painless, and the aftercare was exceptional. After removing the bandage lens, I did experience some discomfort and when I called the clinic, they got me in to see a technician and Dr. Holland within an hour. The issue was quickly identified and resolved. I've since had appointments with my retinal specialist and optometrist, and the results have exceeded expectations. Dr. Lin was able to achieve a level of vision correction beyond what was able to be achieved with glasses. In fact, Dr. Chew advised against getting the more expensive lens as it was not suitable for me. When I arrived for the surgery, the process was simple and very efficient and the actual process seemed like it was only 15 minutes. Had my right eye done, which was so blurry, I could barely see. Absolutely amazed at the result. Had the left eye done one month later, again, perfect and I was already working on the same day on my computer. Highly recommended.
