I have been coming to Lash Touch for 11 months now, and I am finally writing a review. I have been to every lash place in nyc and I've been getting my lashes done every 3 weeks since 2016 (yes it is expensive and I'm still not sure if it's worth it but I love lash extensions haha) Lash Touch is one of the best if not the best places to get lashes done. I used to go to Lash Forever on the upper east side, but it was too far. I tried literally every lash studio from midtown to downtown Manhattan after leaving Lash Forever, and I couldn't find a place I loved until Lash Touch. Lash Touch is clean, reliable, and very high quality. The lashes look natural and everyday. When I have a special occasion, they add more for me. I LOVE how responsive they are over text as well and the location is great. I have been seeing Sophia for 11 months, and when she was on vacation (cry) I saw a few other technicians. Surprisingly, they were all amazing. Lash Touch is a place where EVERY technician is good. Crazy, right? I still prefer to see Sophia because we make small talk and she knows exactly what I like. Oh another thing I love about Lash Touch is their tipping. Yes you should ALWAYS tip in cash... but Lash Touch doesn't force you to go across the street and find an ATM or pay $5 to use their own ATM to get cash. I do my best to bring cash, but when I'm not able to, they let me put it on my card. In those cases, I tip a bit more because of the credit card fee. Oh and they are SO flexible. Sometimes something comes up at work or I can leave early. I send them a text and they get back to me in less than an hour usually a few min to see if they can fit me in. Amazing. So my lashes lasted for 2 months. I have about 3-5 lashes left on each eye. I am SOOOOOOOO THRILLED with the way they turned out and stayed. I think they lasted longer than most because I got the natural lashes and those tend to last longer. Towards the end of your lash experience they start to turn and what not and start going in weird directions. But one of those things that no one notices besides you. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially the girl I had MIRY. She was great and comforting to me. I was very nervous about getting it done. The last time I went to Lashtouch, I nearly had my lashes RIPPED OFF. I was 15 min late and I asked if they could still accommodate me. They gave me a very hard time about it, but given that the place was nearly empty... they found it a way to make it work... So the woman began taping down my under eye lashes, etc. She made about 4 more snotty comments about the scheduling and I said "ok but since were here now, it will still be the same quality of service, right?" Went because a friend told me about this place! Got an appointment and only waited about 5 min after filling out paperwork. My technician came to me and asked me what I wanted and recommended which things would be better for me personally. I appreciated this because she tried her best to understand what I wanted and what I've had done before. I've had really thick and dramatic extensions, which made my eyes look rounder than I wanted and made me look more tired. I ended up getting natural silk up to .11 j curl I've gotten lash extensions four times before today and I've only gotten them when I was in Korea. The asking price is a bit pricier than other places I've seen but I think it would be worth the price. When you first open your eyes, the extensions definitely don't poke or pinch at your skin, which was a huge relief for me. I did tear a little bit when I first opened my eyes but it wasn't a big issue. The lashes felt light and I liked how they turned out!! I would definitely go again. Excellent customer service! Soon as I walked in I was greeted with warm smiles and seated to discuss how I wanted my lashes done. My technician was John. He was the best! I requested a naturally-long look and he got the job done. I'm someone who's very particular about how I want them, so I was lucky to have someone so patient and honest. I told him I wanted sizes 9, 10 and some 11 but as he measured 11 against my lashes, I was warned that it would be too long to look natural. Glad I listened because after seeing my results, anything longer would've been a no-no for me. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. First experience with Lash Extensions and I couldn't recommend this place more! My technician was lovely and very helpful in selecting the best option for me. For my first visit, I was given a private room and the ladies at the front desk were so sweet and gave very helpful advice on taking care of my lashes. I had them done on Sept. 12th (almost 3 1/2 weeks since) and since then, I had had maybe 4/5 lashes fall. I highly recommend getting the gel lash coating for longer lasting! I see Yuna about every two weeks. She does an excellent job every time! She knows exactly what I want when I walk in and always gives me a pain-free experience, leaving me with gorgeous results every time. You can choose between silk or mink lashes, with silk apparently being slightly lighter in weight of the two and more natural looking. If you check in on Yelp, you get a free silk upgrade ($20 value). They have two curl options, C curl or J curl, with C being the curlier of the two and J being more natural looking. They offer lengths 8-15mm. Lastly, you can choose .15mm or .20mm thickness, with .20 being considered more of a "mascara" look. For first timers, the service is 50% off. They also give out coupons every few visits for discounts on a future new set and one touch-up. Their prices overall are extremely competitive with other salons, and I believe I get the most bang for my buck here when considering my tech's talent, the atmosphere, kindness of staff, etc. I've been to a few different salons and Yuna is the best! The salon is super clean and neat with comfortable beds and a waiting area. They have complimentary water bottles, canned beverages, and snacks while you wait. One of the staff will always take your coat to hang and will return your coat to you at the end of the appointment. A big plus is my ability to make appointments with them via text. Again terrible. My reviews spoke for itself and Lash Touch decided to defend their review. Sorry but nothing changes the fact that I came in wanting a voluminous and amazing look, and they made my lashes look worse. I went to get my lashes done at another place after to fix the problem, and the new place informed me that Lash Touch's lashes are actually very low quality and very thin, and that was why I wasn't seeing the results that I wanted. Here you are not getting value for your money. You are also getting cheap, thin lashes. If you are looking for something dramatic and lush, go somewhere else. And for the record, I have been getting my lashes done for over 4 years straight. I take care of them, and use serum everyday to keep them strong and sturdy. I'm super impressed by my experience at LASHTOUCH. I've been getting extensions for 8 years now, and have gotten them done all over the country and even in other countries. I have developed several pet peeves about the experience- many technicians will pull out your eyelash if one isn't cooperating, (they always deny doing this though) and I hate this because I know I'm being hard on my lashes by so many years of extensions already; the last thing I want is to have them pulled out. LASHTOUCH was SUPER gentle, and apologized for even the slightest tug. I really appreciate this. Another pet peeve is when you "transfer" in to a studio and do a fill rather than getting a full set, and the technician never fails to complain endlessly about the last technician's work. This was also the opposite of LASHTOUCH- they were extremely professional, and it was such a relaxing, nice music, complaint-free visit. I also appreciate that they take transfers at all- so many don't allow new clients unless they're doing full sets. I live in San Francisco and took an unexpected trip here for an extended period of time, so I really appreciated that they took me in. They even give a generous first visit discount! I feel the need to update my previous review because of a bad experience I had at a different, cheaper salon. I was taking a break from lashes when I was given a gift card to a different salon. Since I had a great experience with lash extensions the first time I figured it would be fine. Well, I was wrong. My new lashes looked and felt cheap. They were too long and fake looking. To make things worse, over half the lashes fell out after only a few days. I could not wait to get them removed so I gently removed them myself with soap and water and they all fell off so easily. I totally regret not sticking with Lash Touch. I just got a full set and they are beautiful and so high quality. I will never go to another salon again. I think it's the glue... I went for a full set, natural c curl 11mm, light eyelashes (probably silk, cuz the consultant didn't even explain to me the material difference) for the first time. The result is stunning, but i REGRETTED. If I ever need to weight between health or beauty, I know I'd definitely not considered this. Eyelashes extension is a somewhat risky or harmful beauty job for your HEALTH. The process took more than an hour to complete. Towards the end, I started to feel uncomfortable in my eyes with my eyes closed and I smelt something like CRAZY GLUE in the air. Then I was told to open my eyes, I saw a big part of my eyeballs became SO RED. She explained, it's probably because I didn't close my eyes well during the process. She handed me a small eye drop and added, 'the redness will go away when the glue is dried'. I trusted her so I went home without thinking too much. Next day waking up in the morning, I can't wait to check my red eyes in the mirror. The answer is, not getting any better. I began to search the possible reasons online. And I found out, most of the glue used today for eyelash extension contains FORMALDEHYDE , which is a highly toxic chemical ingredient for anyone, not to mention for the most sensitive part our body. The job required very experienced technicians to be taken care of or it can go so wrong easily. I still experience redness and eye pain now even after used eye drops, although I really enjoy my new 'eye makeup'. I'll see how things go tomorrow to decide if I should see an eye doctor. Girls, please give it a serious thought before you decide to do this. There are many ways to get your eyes popped more naturally and less aggressively. Follow up: My red eye is healed after 3 days by using eye drop myself. I didn't know why they said 'I was negative' when they called back after I've posted a 2 star review. They offered me to go back to check. But seriously, when I'm sick, does it make more sense to go to doctor first rather than them to get my lashes removed that might possibly lead to more allergic reaction? ... read more

I just moved to NY and was looking for a new lash tech and found Lash Touch. They get 2 stars because their location is clean. However, just 10 minutes after my service and multiple lashes are already falling out. I was told that since I have "oily skin" they may not stay long. I get my lashes done regularly (every 3 weeks and have never had this problem before). As I questioned why she believed they wouldn't last long she started yelling with an attitude. i had my first ever extensions done here today and it was amazing! i was worried it would be itchy or painful but i actually fell asleep bc it was so relaxing lol my technician was jay and she was so nice and thorough. she went through all the different shapes and sizes and styles with me and quickly discerned my lash length and made out a plan for me fit to my request which was to keep it very subtle - i had silk lashes with j-curl in 7-9 length. the applications were rather quick considering each lash is applied one at a time and it was an easy experience for me. the table adjusted to support my knees, the pillow and table were all lined and clean and actually the whole facility looks spotless, her hands were clean and smelled pleasant, the tape placed under my eyes were a silicone/gel like texture so it was soothing and cooling and not sore when removed. in between application jay let me check out how the look was and allowed me to decide if i wanted to upgrade to a fuller look or not. checkout was a cinch too. i brought cash and with the first comers 30% off deal i really got an amazing deal for this service! they also include a little tutorial sheet and postservice care im excited to come back and try different styles read more

I have found my go-to lash extension place now! My technician was Jay, who did a removal from another salon, along with a new full touch set. The glue that the previous salon I went to was so strong and they completely clumped my lashes together and it looked terrible and I was desperate to get my lashes fixed. I have really sparse, weak lashes so I've always been scared extensions wouldn't hold up for me-- they have always fallen off early when I got them done at other places. However, the lashes I get here last so long and look absolutely beautiful. Jay is my favorite technician. The quality of her work is exceptional-- she really molds the lashes to enhance the shape of my eyes and makes them beautiful! She is also very kind and her attention to detail is amazing! I am a lash addict. I forgot what I looked like without these lashes. Grace does a great job! I had it also done by a different technician (guessing she was a 'master' since she had her own room) who was also great. They do a good job of removing old, grown out ones and replacing with fresh lashes. I always get the full touch, ~13mm? C curls, and am happy with the results. I used to come every 3 weeks; but realizing that this makes a difference of a couple hunnid a year, so I decided to come every 4 weeks. They still stay on pretty well, but I heard they fall off a bit easier in the summertime bc it's so humid here. Warning- apparently they don't do AC here in the summertime bc it gets the glue weaker. Good reason but just know that you'll be sweatin! One star docked off for price (I guess it's difficult to stay more affordable in manhattan though :/). One good thing is for a first time customer, they give you 30% Off. And every 3 times you go you get $20 off for your 4th visit I believe. Not much but hey it's something. I got my lashes done 2 weeks prior to my appointment here. I got sizes 14, 15, and 16. I wanted to go up a size (17) Sara said no. The environment is calm and there are private rooms. Once i got up and walked to the bathroom in the building i lost a lash, I walked outside and 2 lashes were already on my shirt, i brushed it off and got home an hour after and lost 4 more lashes, I am upset i already lost about 10 lashes in less than 3 hours. My low rating is due to the loss of lashes and because I wanted to use a size and Sara told me no, Ladies you pay per lashes so the fact that my lashes are falling off and I haven't even gone a day gets me upset because it is super expensive. read more

Update - 4 stars: I called to express dissatisfaction and was given an appointment the same day to replace the lashes that had already fallen out. The second technician was much better - no glue in my eye and/or eye poking and I left satisfied, without complaint! I got my eyelashes done here based on the reviews. I get the sense that my experience may have been related to my technician vs. the actual place. I want to be fair and give this place a 2nd chance (the positive reviews HAVE to be based on something, right?) so I plan to return, but will ask for a different technician. I experienced some communication challenges with my technician as there was a language barrier. We primarily had to communicate through other technicians who would quickly step in and serve as our translator. This was my first time getting individual eyelash extensions, so I don't know much about the "lingo" (I.e. Lengths, fullness, etc.). But I was also had the expectation that someone would be able to explain the differences and/or provide pictures to demonstrate the differences, given that they are providing the service. Instead, the technician just pointed at prices on the menu and asked me which one. If I'm trying to decide between spending $140 and $160, I need to understand what I'm paying for. I showed her a picture of a previous client who had posted her lashes on Yelp and said I pretty much wanted the same (they were beautiful and very natural looking), but the technician couldn't figure out which service I should get. Once we got started, she had some troubles getting those patches situated, at one point, touching my eye. During the service, she poked me with the tweezers and got glue into my eye, to the point I had legitimate tears (not of sadness, lol). When she said she was done, I looked in the mirror and saw thin lashes of a uniform length (NOTHING like the Yelp pic), so I had to pay an additional amount for the next tier up to obtain more fullness. I asked her to use varying lengths to create a more natural look. I guess I didn't state that upfront, but assumed it was a given as most technicians tend to use varying lengths. In the end, I'm not overly excited about the end result. It's not bad, but not amazing. The 30% first time customer discount helped soften the blow.
