Baring in mind that I regularly wax and have for years, it actually hurt during the waxing to the point where I had to ask her if she had waxed a male before. To that end, I had to go as far as coaching her to keep my skin taunt while removing the wax among a host of other issues during the session. Upon my exit, I informed the receptionist that the session was not satisfactory to the point the extent it was painful and that I would like a call from the manager. I spent a lot of time (5 1/2hrs) and ALOT of money for these services. With in the 30min drive home lashes had fallen while i was driving, when I got home I noticed more and that I had visible loose lashes laying on my eye lid. I informed her immediately and she offered to replace/repair. With my pending schedule I informed her that I wouldn't be available for a while. We agreed on a date. By the next morning many many more had fallen off leaving obvious spaces and gaps. Informed her again of the situation. Keeping her abreast of the issues. By evening they were a disaster, just over 24hrs after having them applied. At this point I asked for a refund as I didn't feel confident of a reoccurrence. She refused and she also expressed some very colorful accusations against me. We have been in contact several times after the fact and yes I did again agree to allow her to redo them but upon further consideration of her very poor attitude towards my experience, and less than professional behavior after the fact, I again informed her that I was not confident that the same thing wouldn't happen again and requested a refund for the lash service only. She has refused, only will do a corrective service if there's an issue. Can't correct something that doesn't exist. Of course she blames me for not dropping everything in my schedule to have her fix the issue immediately. Even if I could have done as she wanted, the process would not have been a simple "fast fix" Refund still refused. Hopefully others have a more rewarding experience for the expense but my experience has been ugly and very discouraging. She also spoke poorly to me about another client who posted a bad review about her so I'm sure she will also do the same about me. Especially since I initially gave her a great review and have since deleted it.

I have curly, wavy, wonky hair, so normally the day of a haircut is the first of several days that I need to "recover" from all the weird, unsettling, frizzifying things that typically happen during a haircut. All that combing and pulling does nothing to preserve or encourage my curls to do what's natural, so it's typically all out of sorts. For days!! Not this time! This was different, and exactly right! For the first time in my life, I walked out of the salon feeling quite sassy, with my pretty, bouncy, best version of my very own natural hair. Wow! I went to Christopher because he was listed as experienced with curly hair. That's an understatement! He knew So Much about curly-cutting, and while he worked he explained a dozen important things that have helped me work with my own hair. Everything he said and did made perfect sense, and the result was simply wonderful! Plus, the salon itself was very nice. The person who greeted us was friendly and welcoming to me and my daughter, who they encouraged to feel comfortable and at home while she waited for me. I'll go wherever Christopher is working for all of my haircuts from now on, but I hope it's right there at Salon Vivace, since the entire experience was very lovely.
