Throughout the appointment Rebekah kept checking in with how I was doing and if I needed anything. She was great! Honestly, the 3 hrs flew by. Their chair is super comfy I was just relaxing there haha. When she finished, she showed me the lashes. They look phenomenal. Literally exactly what I wanted. If you're looking to get lashes or a new studio I would definetly recomend Rebekah at Luxury Lash and Brow Studio.

Back then I had very full eyebrows, but they quickly thinned out after waxing. Upon my first meeting with Angelica she put me on a regimen: massage castor oil in to my eyebrows twice a day, and by the time I saw her again a month later, it worked! My eyebrows were noticeably thicker. When she threaded my eyebrows, she didn't try to give them a shape they didn't naturally have. They were perfect! As for my Brazilian wax, also another big impression. Angelica gave me a lot of tips on how to care for the skin after the wax specific to African hair. This is the major difference between her and most aestheticians I've been to; most can successfully remove the hair, even pain free at times, but few could tell me how to prevent ingrown hairs, scarring, etc., things common to Black women. Not only did she offer sound advice but the wax was pain free and smooth. Bottom line: Angelica is as good as it gets! My husband and best friend, two people who have very thick eyebrows, even come to her and cannot stop raving about how great she is. Love, love love!

I easily booked an appointment online with a Emalie, and their location was so easy to find on the main strip in Dormont. There's also a public parking lot nearby (make sure you pay-- there was a meter guy out checking plates!) The atmosphere is cool and relaxing, and Emalie greeted me by name as soon as I walked in. I immediately got to sit in a chair and get started on my manicure. They had COVID precautions implemented and there was only a total of 4 of us in the salon at once. The hour it took to get my nails done flew by-- I felt like I was sitting and chatting with a few girlfriends. Emalie was a perfectionist at what she did and she truly did a spectacular job! The salon was clean and didn't have a strong nail smell. I'm also not aware of any other salon that offers extra strength gel. Apparently this is supposed to last 3 weeks. Normal gel at other salons usually last 10 days for me. They really take the nail experience to the next level here. I will 110% be back!

I had never had my lashes done before, so she explained it to me and made sure I felt comfortable. My lashes were done in about an hour, and they look so amazing!! I've never felt more confident than I do now, waking up with these truly "flawless" lashes! I've been to other places for a fill and immediately regretted it and went back to Lola. I thought about it for weeks too many. Then I met Lisa. She and I come from different walks of life, but she is genuinely one of the kindest, most caring individuals I've ever met. I didn't know what to expect when I walked in to her studio, but I quickly found out it would become my haven. For a first-timer like me, the idea of lash extensions was kind of overwhelming. So many different styles! Lengths! I had no idea what I wanted, and she was patient and walked me through the process every step of the way. We settled on a natural look with a little extra flair on the outside corners, and I couldn't have been happier. I can't believe what a difference they made! I've been back twice since my first visit and I can't say enough great things. I don't know that I'll ever go anywhere else. Lisa is just the best, both personally and in the work she does. My appointments with her have quickly become something I so look forward to. And if my review isn't enough to seal the deal for you, when I visited with my professional makeup artist friend shortly after getting my lashes done, his first comment to me was "YOUR LASHES!" When I told him they were extensions, he about fell out of his seat, swearing up and down he'd never seen them look so real. So yeah, she's pretty great. You won't regret the time or money you'll spend here. Worth every penny!

I went here for a lash lift & tint and did not see any results. There was a part of it that was my…read morefault. I received an important phone call that I was not expecting during the service and because of that I opened my eyes during the service. I messaged the business soon after the service and told them I was disappointed with the results and asked if there was anything we could do. The only thing I was told after a lengthy conversation is that I could come back in and pay for the materials and get it redone. I wasn't confident that the result would be any better and I would be disappointed if I paid even more and was still was not happy with the result. I asked the business to provide me with a partial refund as I took accountability for any wrongdoing I had, but never received it. I think my biggest issue is not the lack of result (I have pictures and there was very little to no result), but the communication with the business. They didn't seem to understand or comprehend what I was saying and just kept making excuses rather than saying, "Hey, I'm sorry you are unhappy with your results. The stylist felt rushed and wanted to let you get to the phone call because that seemed really important to you. Could we provide you with a partial voucher for a future service or a redo of the service? We want our clients to be pleased with their results and we stand behind our work." Their messages to me were confusing and had typos that made it hard to have a productive conversation. They didn't listen to understand. They just doubled down and focused on formulating their next defensive response. For example, at the beginning of the conversation I sent a picture of what my results were and what I had hoped they would look like. The picture was a screenshoot of video from another Pittsburgh Lash Artist. It was labeled as a korean lash lift. They pointed out that they 1) didn't offer a korean lash lift (true) 2) believed this picture had filters/false lashes on it. I acknowledged that could very well be true and they sent me a picture in return of what a realistic lash lift looked like. That picture looked great to me! I told them exactly that and said I wished my results looked like that. However, they ignored that and kept referencing the previous picture I sent & saying that they "didn't offer that service" (in text message and in the BBB complaint). I know that and I understood that the first time they told me. I was no longer paying attention or referencing the korean lash lift once they told me it was not realistic and that their lash lift was not that and subsequently did not produce the same results. At the end of the day, I would not recommend this business. If you are looking for a lash lift, I would look for someone who has pictures and proof of extensive experience in the lash lift and tint space and actively posts and shows their results. They truly don't come across as slightly professional or nuanced in professional communication. This could have been solved a long time ago if their response was different.
