She was apologetic and very sweet about it! Today, almost a week of applying ointments like I was told to do to heal the cut, I realized that the extensions in my inner corner came off. I texted Mong to see if I could come in for a touch-up and within 5 minutes, she had me scheduled with Tuyet during the afternoon with no additional charge. When I got there, I showed Tuyet the missing area, she tapped my eye (super gently) and got started. I told her and Mong that all I needed touched up was my inner corner on my one eye but I think she touched up everything that needed it on both eyes because it looks different but better than when I came in (and even better than when I first got them done!) Mong and Tuyet were both so sweet and Tuyet was very gentle with my eyes and making sure I was okay. Maybe I just caught them on an off day last week? Either way, I am glad my review can match the other postive ones that this business has.

I came to Mongs lash lounge for a foreign lash fill and when you first come in it feels very clean and welcoming. Mong did my lashes honestly better than my lash tech from my hometown that I was going to for years, I have the best retention with Mongs work and my lashes can last up to 3 weeks and still look wonderful. I have been coming to Mong to get my lashes done regularly since. You can tell Mong what type of style of lashes you want and she can give you exactly what you want if you want a style change. I have also gotten my lashes done by Tuyet and she did my lashes just as wonderful! Definitely recommend both of these ladies for lashes!.

She created a bespoke lash especially for my big day. It was perfect! When I was looking for a lash artist, I did what most people do by looking into this platform, google, busn. website and social media. There's nothing like visuals, testimonies and updates in real time on social media. From her posts, I saw how she achieved the perfect look for every customer's preference and occasion. I had to book quickly. Once I met her, she wasn't just a last artist passionate about her craft, but an expert, a teacher/trainer and a person who deeply cares for others. She's a rare soul. With her Cali move posted everywhere on her socials, she had a transition plan by referring her trusted lash artists. Oh! And who can say "I have an expert lash artists who cares for her clients, will cook your favorite noodle soup and make you the best coffee!" I do! Kelly, Seattle is going to miss you and Cali is so fortunate to have your expertise.

I booked a new-client appointment with Kelly after finding her on Yelp and reading the positive…read morereviews. On July 29, I was excited to find an opening for July 31. I had recently moved and was looking for a new lash artist I could see consistently and build a long-term professional relationship with. Before booking, I reviewed Kelly's website, Yelp page, and booking requirements. I understood that she had a strict cancellation policy requiring the full appointment price, and I provided my credit card information to secure the appointment. I booked a new-client lash fill, brow wax, and brow tint. On the day of the appointment, my car repair was taking longer than expected, so I texted Kelly to give her a heads-up. She initially said she could be flexible by up to an hour, which I appreciated, while also reminding me of her cancellation policy. As we continued texting, Kelly informed me that she would need to remove all of my existing lashes, even though they were only about a week old. This was not clearly listed as a requirement on her website or booking platform. There was an optional add-on to remove lashes from another artist, but nothing stating that a full removal was mandatory. Although I was frustrated, I was willing to accept that. What ultimately changed the situation was learning that July 31 was Kelly's final day working in Seattle because she was moving to California. This was not disclosed on her website or booking platform. She told me she had announced it on Instagram, but I do not believe a new customer should be expected to search through every social-media account for such important information before booking. People who receive lash extensions are generally looking for an ongoing artist, not someone who will remove their current lashes, perform one service, charge a new-client rate, and then immediately leave the state. Had I known she was relocating, I never would have booked the appointment. I asked Kelly whether she would consider splitting the cancellation charge because this significant information had not been disclosed. She could have charged me for the lash service but waive the brow wax and tint--anything that demonstrated some accountability or willingness to meet me halfway as I understand the value of her time. She refused. I never disputed that I had agreed to her cancellation policy. My concern was that a material fact about her business--her final day in Seattle--was not disclosed during the booking process. Kelly could also clearly see that a brand-new client had booked an appointment on her final day and could have contacted me so I could make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I felt that there was no effort to acknowledge the situation, provide reasonable customer service, or take any responsibility for the lack of transparency. My experience was disappointing, and I feel like taking my money was more important to her than ensuring a prospective customer was taken care of.

I feel horrible writing this review as I've been to Taylor for my first and second last experience…read morethat resulted in gorgeous, comfortable lashes around 2 years ago. Taylor was recommended to me by a good friend. I am giving 2 stars because I know the ability and responsibility is here at this business. But, I am disappointed in my lashes I had done with Mimi on 12/13. I reread the reviews here with one customer saying that Mimi took a lot of breaks and rushed through lashes but did not take this seriously. My experience was the same even though Mimi was really sweet. One can take breaks all they want but I remember that when I went to Taylor, she took over an hour and did not take any phone breaks. That said, I want to be fair and say that this glue Mimi used caused an allergic reaction. I powered through and took Benadryl and religiously cleaned my lashes 2-3 times a day. I texted Mimi and she said to take allergy meds and put a warm tea bag on my eyes. Well, who wants to ruin a $275 lash job so I did not immediately rip them off myself. I woke up with swollen, crusty eyes which I spent money get Visine Allergy eye drops and Systane lid scrub wipes to attempt to keep the lashes. I went on travel to SoCal and dealt with taking Bendaryl, cleaning my lids, cleaning my lids, itching, and burning lids until 12/24. I desperately made an appointment at another lash place to get them professionally removed. I walked into H & K beauty in Mission Viejo and the lash tech there removed them for me meticulously and carefully. She did not charge me for this removal as she felt bad and wondered why I wasn't given instructions to remove them myself or why I wasn't invited back into to remove them when clearly there was an allergic reaction that led to severe redness. It is by luck I did not go blind or end up in urgent care. The lash tech showed me the amount of glue that ended up on my lids which essentially burned them. As of today, my lids not still flakey and dry but managable/hidden by the work Ha had to redo. The last tech there redid my lashes just to save my vanity and I can say that at at the time of this review, I still have extensions that look good weeks later. (3rd picture). I messaged Mimi and while she was sorry, she just told me her lids were also itchy too and instructed me get a prescription from my doctor. It was sweet she commiserated with me, but it's not about her eye lids and I don't want to spend more money to take care of my eyes at this point. The redo in SoCal was $315 and the last tech there carefully worked on my lashes for a solid 90 minutes no breaks and I had no glue residue from her work. Ha followed up every few days with me and said if my swelling did not go down, she would remove them free of charge. In all, this was a $600 ordeal for just extensions. In the future, I would not NOT go here but I would go back to Taylor. Sorry this was an honest review and Mimi is sweet but I don't think her abilities and patience are quite to up to par as Taylor and that's why in all these reviews, everyone is talking about Taylor.

The old salon I was going to was getting pretty much impossible to get into because of how popular they were becoming. Good for them, but sad for a regular... So on to Nikki I moved! Her prices are also a tiny bit cheaper than where I was going as well, which is an added bonus. Nikki does a great job with my lashes. They always look nice and full when she's done, and the glue seems to hold REALLY well. I go every two weeks and at that point I'm in need of a fill, but it's not tooo noticeable yet.
