I've been coming here for a few months now for lashes and have always had a great experience. They keep a record of what you got last time so if you're happy with your set, you can get the same. The first time I went, I specifically asked for very natural lashes and she totally delivered. So much so that the next time I went, i asked her to take it up a notch! I found out about this place on Groupon. I saw the location and decided to try them out. Unlike the Indian places around the Bronx that do not wash their hands before touching your face, this lash bar was like a spa. the experience was so satisfying that I fell asleep and woke up with natural, non-irritating lashes. I believe Chinese owned, it is not your typical hole in the wall. They consult you about the sizes and type of lashes you can install, then they offer you a package, then you lay on the bed, place a blanket on you, and you drift off. I initially visited this establishment early 2022. My first experience was nice and my lashes came out pretty good. My second time at this salon was on 4/1/2022 for a new set 80 pieces. While I was getting the lashes glued in place my right eye was bothering me I thought I was just being sensitive. Towards the end of the service I mentioned to the lash tech my right eye was bothering me. She was kind and put drops in my eye but eye was still irritated. I left with extremely red eyes which I thought was normal because this usually happened when I did my lashes. That night I had pressure around my eye that resulted in a headache. The following day the pain in my eye was worst I contacted the salon to let them know and they asked for me to come in. Unfortunately I was unable to because my child's 1st birthday party which was already paid for and I could not delay it. The following day the pain still persisted and I was asked my the receptionist to come in Sunday morning. Instead of going back to the salon which I knew would not remedy the situation. I decided to seek medical attention at an urgent care. Upon further observation I had a mark burn on my eyeball. I was given antibiotics and referred to a specialist. I reached out to the salon and they requested for me to come in to remove the lashes. I was absolutely not comfortable with them touching my eye. I requested a refund and was told via text message that would be hard for them to do. They did not even have the courtesy to speak to me even after I sent numerous photos of my eye. The only solution would be to remove the lashes. I was extremely dissatisfied with their solution. I had to seek medical assistance and and do further testing for my eye. At least I could receive the money back due having to go through this painful ordeal. Please use this situation as warning to be careful where you go and have services with especially when it is a something delicate like your eyes. read more
