I went for a touch up before my 2 week because half of my eyelashes fell out, the girl who I chat with to complain was very nice and she told me that this time they were going to apply a little more glue to it, so I decided to give it a second chance and I am hoping that this time my eyelashes will last at least the complete two weeks if not more. Because otherwise I will find somewhere else to get them done. I gave it a 5 star because they do an amazing job. My eyelashes look natural, and I get a lot of compliments about it. The employees are very kind, patient, and very good at what they do. I went in a week prior to my appointment for an allergy test (I have super sensitive skin). They applied 5 lashes to each eye, then I let them know the next day that I didn't have a reaction. The day of my appointment comes & they text me to let me know they had earlier availability, but I unfortunately could not make it any earlier than my scheduled time. I arrive and they seat me in a very clean waiting room. There are partitions up between each station & I can tell that they've taken extreme precautions due to Covid. The whole process took about 90 minutes, and my technician was very gentle and did not rush to complete applying the set. I asked for more of a cat-eye look & I was so happy with the results! The only reason I'm giving it a 4/5 stars is because within 12 hours I had a reaction to the lashes. My eyes were extremely bloodshot, itchy, irritated, & really uncomfortable when I blinked (& just in general). Since I did an allergy test and had no reactions, I'm not exactly sure why I reacted the way I did, but the woman I was speaking with (the owner, I think) was very understanding and I received a full refund as well as free removal of the lashes (on a day the business was closed, nonetheless). read more

I love YSL This place is clean and the staff is so pleasant! Once you arrive your going to be given a questionnaire. Remember to silence your phone and sanitize your hands. Then your ask to select the type or eyelashes you want synthetic or mink, c shape or j shape. Who knew lashes come in so many varieties natural, sexy and full etc. You will be escorted to the application area. Please wear clean socks- you will have to remove your shoes. Then the magic begins. There was some light relaxation music playing overhead, that really but me down. Before I knew it the lady in the next room was snoring and I chuckled buy then drifted off. You must go to Young Lashes for lash extensions because that's all they do, so they are experts unlike nail and hair salons that do it as a sideline. It is a quiet peaceful place where there are only ever 2 patrons at a time and everyone whispers and they play relaxing spa music which is very important because if you're anything like me, it's difficult to lie down stock still for over an hour without squirming. I've actually dozed off a few times. I have naturally thin light colored lashes so I have a volume set and they make me feel more confident and I don't have to deal with mascara and having raccoon eyes within a few hours. So I had been wanting to try lash extensions for a long time, and I was going away for work to tons of events, so I thought it was a great time to try it. I really wanted a place that was only a lash studio, and not just a salon that did this on the side. I searched online for something close to me, because let's be real, I wasn't treking too far for something this frivolous, and found Young Lashes Studio on Yelp / Groupon. They were offering 50% off your first set so I went for it! My appointment was all done through text, and was super easy. I think since they are new they aren't that busy yet, so I was able to go whenever I wanted to. The studio was bright and white and clean, and really really cute. They have 2 private rooms with one bed each, and then a bigger area that has 2 beds, which is cute if you want to go with a friend. You lay there for a full hour with your eyes closed, so going with a friend to chat with would be fun. (I fell asleep lol) So they have two kinds to select from, "traditional mink" and then for $10 more you can get "feather mink." They let you feel each set and the feather is a bit softer. Then you choose if you want 50, 70, 90, or 110 pieces per eye, and you also choose a shape of how you want them to look on your eyes, from several pictures. I went for 70 pieces in what they call the "sexy" shape, that is longer at the edges of your eyes for a bit more drama. I only did 70 pieces because I didn't want them to look too fake. Next time I'll do more because I'm hooked! Let me tell you, they look amazing. I can't feel them, they don't bug me, and I'm obsessed. I was so worried they would be stiff or itchy like some friends had told me they had in the past, but that was not the case. The studio said that I should come back in 2 weeks-ish for a "fill in" because some will fall out, but honestly it's now been 3 weeks and they still look great. Some have definitely fallen out, but with a touch of mascara to fill in you can't even notice. It does take a bit of getting used to washing your face carefully and remembering to pat dry and not rubbing your eyes, but after the first couple days you get used to it. They do also give you a little brush to keep them separated. I am past the point of having a "fill" next time I will need a new full set just based on how they grow and fall out, and that's fine. It's not something I want to spend the money to do all the time, but for an occasion or vacation, absolutely! If you have been wanting to try it, absolutely check out Young Lashes! Finally! A great lash studio close to home! I don't have to go into the city anymore! They have parking out front. The studio itself is very clean and quiet. They play ambient spa music in the background which is nice. I fell asleep during my appointment. The technician was very well mannered and did exactly what I asked for (Real Set 70 Pieces). I have thin Asian lashes but they were still able to make it work! I was very happy with the end result. Definitely my go to lash studio from now on! Jenny and Micki are great!!! I've been going to young lashes now for a few months and won't go anywhere else. They are very professional, kind, and accommodating. When I first went, I showed up after ruining my real lashes by taking off falsie I had gotten done elsewhere. Jenny was honest and took a picture to show me I had gaps of missing lashes and said usually she would say to wait. Since she was so honest and open, I told her I trust her and understood they would not look like the pictures and to please go ahead.
