Being on Manville road there is only street parking and I went around lunch time and found a spot! When you walk inside it's very clean, white, and bright! They have four chairs where some services are performed and a couple of folding chairs as the waiting area right behind it. I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment (because I suck at estimating travel times) and the waxer wasn't in yet so I had to wait until my appointment time so make sure to come at your scheduled time! While I was waiting the salon owner had a very nice conversation with me about the business and about herself. I really enjoy when business owners are friendly and strike up conversation. When the waxer came I was taken into the private back room for my wax. They used chocolate wax, yes chocolate, for my wax!!! The waxer has over 20 years experience and she has many other salons in NYC and the BX. They take the wax and put it into a little condiment looking cup and onto a different warmer so there is NEVER DOUBLE DIPPING. She also used a cloth paper thing to rip off the wax rather than using her hand to pull off the wax- something I've never experienced but I think it was less painful that way. She was very detailed and made sure to get every single hair while keeping me comfortable 100% of the time. I really wanted to love this place because it is so conveniently local. The first time I came in, it was for an eyebrow threading. I left with super red, swollen eyes.. it looked like I got punched in the face. My eyes normally get slightly red (although not this bad) with waxing and NEVER with threading. I did have to do some touch ups with a tweezer when I got home, but nothing major. I went back for eyelash extensions a few days later and had to wait outside (even though I had a 10:00 appt) until somebody was able to open. The girl was very sweet and took her time with the lashes. However, the seven days have passed and ALL of my natural lashes fell out .. leaving me with no natural lashes. I will now have to wait several weeks for them to grow back. I went from having fairly thick and dark lashes to nothing. Anybody who gets the 7 day lashes should be aware that they may be left with no natural lashes after. It's too bad, because they did look nice for several days. read more

Had an opportunity to step out of work early so I came. Got some of my face threaded including eyebrows. Tina did a great job! The salon is clean and bright. I let her know that I have sensitive skin and she reassured me that her hands have a gentle touch. She also massaged aloe vera gel onto the areas she threaded. A few hours later and my skin looks and feels great. She used good judgement on my eyebrows. I didn't give her any direction. She made them symmetric and not too thin. A little pricier than what I used to pay in the city, but I'll be happy to come back. read more

This studio is truly a blessing in Westchester. I was genuinely impressed with everything, the entire experience! 1. Parking is everywhere! The actual service: I have never been SO pleased with my eyelash extensions in the past! She took her time and really captured the look I was going for after she did a consultation beforehand. Additionally, in the past with going to other places within a week my lashes were sparse, falling out, and clumpy. I waited an exact week to write this review & I kid you not I have not seen 1 lash shed since the time of application. I love getting my brows done here! It's the only place I go to now because it's quick and easy and she always does my brows perfect. I get the 7-day lashes all the time and they're perfect. I love how they look and they're so easy to take care of. I don't usually lose a lot of lashes when I do it, so I love going every once in a while for big events. do NOT get your eyelashes done here and don't come here expecting to have small talk or even being greeted at all. this is the second eyelash studio I have been to (the first one home from college) and I was surprised by the lack of professionalism here. even though I was aware of how eyelash extensions should be treated, here I was given no guidelines on what I should and shouldn't do with them, which is extremely unfortunate for any first timers getting lashes. the "temporary eyelashes" I was given are more like fake eyelashes bought at CVS. only a day later, my eyelashes are coming off not in singles like they should be, but in CLUMPS. I am now walking around with balding, irritated eyelashes only a week before my mother's wedding. I don't know or really care if they do eyebrows well here, all I know is that this place needs better staff and will be better off just sticking to eyebrows. UPDATE: had to go get these eyelashes removed. obviously not what eyelashes should look like especially two days later. they were apparently glued to my eyelid and not even my actual eyelashes... read more

Used to get really good threadjobs from here but went earlier today and got a hack job instead. Sloppy threading, a chunk of my brow is missing, the shape of my brow was altered and it looks terrible and thin. The woman left hair all over my face and didn't finish threading. I had my city eyebrow threading place for years but when we moved to Westchester I wanted to find something local. I called probably 12 salons/studios looking for a good threading person but hardly anyone in the area does it. After I went to the well known place in White Plains that charges an absurd amount (ridiculous rates for brows), I finally found Infinity and had a great experience.
