She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire facial, checking in often and making sure the pressure was just right, especially during the extractions. She was incredibly thorough without ever making the experience uncomfortable, which I really appreciated. The spa itself is so welcoming, with a cozy waiting area where you can enjoy a cup of hot tea or cold water before your appointment. It really sets the tone for a calming visit. Overall, it was exactly the self-care day I needed. I'll definitely be back to see Erimi and I'm already looking forward to trying some of their other services, especially a massage. Highly recommend!

I should give the Spa 2 stars because it is so beautiful but I just cannot…read more The spa itself is gorgeous. We used the steam room after the massage (and showers). Everything is clean and really beautiful. While you wait for your massage therapist in the waiting area, there is hummus and pita. Still and sparking water in the refrigerator and cakes. Also an assortment of teas. All delicious and very impressive. The dryers are horrible. They need more power and should be replaced. I have had massages for 30 years. You generally know if it will be good the minute the massage therapist puts their hands on you. I was excited but so disappointed ten minutes in. I requested a Swedish for an hour. Medium strength. I always wait to see how much pressure the masseuse uses and say lighter or more strength and they always respond immediately. Not today. As soon as she started on my shoulders and back I asked if she would use more pressure. I was told she was 'assessing' me while she applied such little pressure it felt like she was only rubbing oil on me. She literally laughed while she said after the assessment it will be much stronger. Then she added, "believe me". It wasn't. When she started the second side I asked her if she was still assessing. She said no. She added she does not do deep tissue massage. Did I ask the front desk when I made an appt for one. I said no. She said everyone has a different technique in massage. Hers is just horrible. I felt like leaving after she did one arm. She literally applied oil all over me and used such little pressure she could have been massaging a new born baby. $185 for the massage; $33.30 for the gratuity and $7.40 for the spa service charge. If only the massage therapist was as good as the spa was beautiful. I will not be returning.

There's also a common lounge with a lovely view of the greenery outside. The common lounge also has snacks laid out although they weren't there early in the morning (before 10). Staff seems a bit lacking though. A large group had left the lounge when I got there and there were plates and towels/blankets and whatnot strewn about and no one had tidied up even when I left about 45 minutes later. I had the massage service and that was nice. The masseuse was nice and checked in a couple times to make sure I was ok with the pressure. On my way out they also gave me a little goody bag with some of their skincare samples.

Thai Serenity Spa used to be reasonably priced with very good massage therapists. Recently, the…read moreprice is much higher now and the therapists are horrible. I asked for a relaxing Swedish Massage, and the therapist was not listening and kept hurting me as she treated my body like bread dough, as if she was hurriedly 'kneading bread.' She had no technique, no finesse, just kept rubbing in a random way as if she'd never had professional training. She was causing me pain and I kept telling her to go softer and slower, as I couldn't relax and would stiffen up my body since she was hurting me. She even forgot to do some areas. I tipped her anyway because of the time she spent on me, but certainly didn't deserve it. the whole thing was a waste of time and money. Never again going to Thai Serenity Spa, it's anything but serene.

The massage itself - 90 min. Thai massage - was a mix of standard massage and stretching. I felt GREAT afterwards (I think I even snoozed a bit at one point). Totally worth it, highly recommend.

It's pretty spartan in here, however the accommodations are fine given that you're heads down on a table. They play soothing music which is nice. I've had multiple masseuses and they're all great. Very easy to give direction to, caring and happy to either chat throughout or just leave you alone. Owner is also extremely nice which is not always the case. Massages are roughly $1/minute which is great given the quality. Like others I noted the 'no sex' sign which is really unfortunate, as it means they've had to put up with some unsavory and frankly racist stuff from some customers. They're wonderful people and I will definitely keep coming back. Well worth it!
