I did my research before deciding to come here. Lash extensions are definitely an investment. After reading reviews I decided to try this place out. Everyone was really nice and friendly. However, I waited about 30 minutes after my appt time for my tech. I was patient, maybe it'd be worth the wait. I expected my tech to wash her hands or use hand sanitizer before touching my face or eyes, but that never happened. Then I was told I was getting mink, I did NOT receive mink. I even asked afterwards if they were sure, the guy seemed uneasy about answering my question. Anywho, after about a week or so, I had to go somewhere else to get them removed because they were pulling and way too heavy. Mink is not supposed to feel that way. I even had my new tech take a look at them and sure enough they were not mink or anything close to it. Although they were nice, I won't be back due to the misleading ad and unsanitary application. read more

I purchased a groupon, and came in needing a refill. Yvonne asked me what size lashes I wanted, and got to work. I got the 14's. They lasted longer than any other lashes I've ever gotten, but still felt like they were long. Two weeks later for my next refill, I get the 12-13 size, with a focus on volume not length. My lashes are legit AMAZING. I get so many compliments on them. They are very full, and look very nice even at the 2-3 week mark. Yvonne is very detailed oriented and takes care every time I come in. She does really great work and I recommend her. I fall asleep every time too. Each session takes about an hour. This is not a FRU FRU salon. It's straight to the point, which I like. I will say that they really do need to update the interior though. It's a little outdated, but nothing a little TLC can fix. Other than that, I am very pleased. read more

This review is for the lash application, having that said, here's my review. I've been doing my lashes for almost 10 years now, and have been to a few really good and some fairly bad lash salons. So having tried different places, I must say that my overall experience at LASHED UP STUDIO was fairly okay. Yvonne, the owner, accommodated me for a same day appointment. Yes I know they're new, but she did reply to my texts in a very timely manner and answered all of my questions. So I was extremely happy that I was able to get my lash extensions completed when I needed and wanted them done. Yvonne asked for what I wanted done, made some suggestions, but also stressed that overall she wanted to make me happy. My lashes aren't what they used to be, so considering my length and how sparse they are, she helped to have my look as full as possible with what I requested. The lash extensions were initially pretty but started to fall off my natural lashes pretty quick- the same week I got them on. I like to take care of my lash extensions and am pretty good about it, but these just seem to come off faster than ones I've had before (at different salons). As the extensions grew out,and whatever little I had left, they were no longer "pretty". They did not grow out nicely. Many started to face different directions, which annoyed me because I've never had to brush my lashes so much, but still have them facing another direction. I had my remaining lashes removed and done elsewhere. With that said, I am definitely not returning to have my lashes done here. So I've been getting my lashes done for a year I never write reviews but I had to for this one. My friend recommended this place and I was like ok yeah im going to try it since I came from the main land and was still looking for a lash tech. So she tells me yonnie is the best one I made my appointment with her and I paid 180ish for Russian volume which was fine but it took her 40 min if that to do my lashes while she had another customer already waiting for about 10 min. The whole time I felt her tugging on my lashes that my eye libs would open a little all the time which means the glue would get in my eye and burned. The lashes did look good at the end but my eyes burned and they weren't even and yes I know lashes are sister not twins but one eye had way more lashes then the other one. The next time I go for a refill and yonnie was completely booked so I go to the next person I pick another 5 star lash tech. I get there for my appointment they told me to come earlier so I did then as I arrive there like I'm sorry I messaged the wrong person it will be a 30 min wait so I'm like ok it's fine it happens. Finally when it's my turn i don't even go to the lash tech that i chose on the website but some young lady. Which I was like ok it's fine maybe she's better, she took her time which I liked and didn't tug on my lashes I was really happy with how they looked and everything... so I thought. I went home and I could brush through my lashes there was clumps of glue and when (1) fake lash came off it came off with (3) -(2) of my real lashes with so much glue. I finally found a really good lash person her name is Dori, that took her time cleaned off my lashes and was showing me how the lashes they put were right on my skin as you could tell by how the glue is. This place isn't bad if you need something ASAP but not for long periods of time. read more

Studio is clean, usually wen I go it's just me and Yvonne. It is by appointment aswell. Yvonne makes sure your happy with your lashes, very fast and efficient. Parking is great it's right outside. They do offer Groupon deal and they have alot of different styles.That's how I came across them and been going to them since then.They do consult you on whether the lash style you choose will fit your eye shape. Came here a few times for eyelash extensions, because I'm looking for a lash lady in my area. I found that the three lash ladies would not listen to what I wanted. The removal part was also EXTREMELY painful, and it should not be that way. The lakes also did not stay in for very long and would go in all different directions. I would have to go back in a few days sometimes. Really really poor quality, and the staff are not friendly. The environment is also not peaceful. Normally I sleep during my process, but here you definitely can't do that. read more

I've been coming here every 2 weeks for about 3 months now and today I had the worst experience ever. I've always had Yvonne do my lashes, which she is awesome, but today some other lady did it even though I booked an appointment with Yvonne. This lady starts taking off my old extensions and she is very heavy handed. She put a lot of pressure on my eyes and dug her nails into my face. It felt like she was plucking my eyelashes off! She pulls my right eyelid upward causing something she put on my lids to go into my eye and it made my right eye burn the whole time I was there, which I was there for 3 hours!!! The whole time tears were coming out of my right eye. She had to keep on taking eyelash extensions off since they were sticking together due to my tears. When she told me we are almost done, I got so excited because I just wanted to get out of there because my eyes were in pain. I finally leave and I had to blast the ac in my car on my eyes because they were still tearing up and burning. When my eyes stopped burning I finally took a good look at my lashes and I do not like them. Random lashes stuck out because they were way too long so I ended up cutting a few when I got home. I have loved this place until now... I don't know if I'll be returning. Maybe I'll go back if only Yvonne does my lashes. read more

This was my first experience getting lash extensions and I'm pretty disappointed. I booked online with Naomi based off of her reviews and pictures of her work, however when I got there I was told by Naomi that my lash tech is running 15 minutes late. I was a bit confused because I was pretty sure I booked with her but I just thought maybe I'm mistaken, given that I was a first time customer and never met any of them yet (I did do some looking over on their website and seen their pictures so I kinda knew who was who), but it all cleared up about a minute later when another client walks in and is told to sit down in her chair, the client explains that she usually books with someone else but she was in a rush. Anyways, I ended up waiting half an hour for someone to show up, and it was Yvonne. So I figured they switched us around to accommodate the other client. She didn't do any consulting with me, I wasn't sure what length or anything would by good for me but it was like I was expected to. I felt totally rushed, she finished my lashes in 45 minutes, and was walking out the door right behind me. Naomi was still working on the other client that she started before me. My lashes turned out alright, one side has more than the other but I'll live with it for now, I really just didn't wanna have to go back and wait again. My lashes did come out how I wanted to them too. I rate her one star because Yvonne my experience with her was unprofessional and uncomfortable. She was 20 minutes late. She had me pick the length of my lashes and that was different for me. When I asked why she laughed and said "because if it's not what you wanted then it's not my fault." I let it go and asked well do you have pictures? What do recommend for someone who just wants a classic fill (which is was what the description of my service said)? I really don't know if it was the lash glue that she put right next to my face, but the whole time there was an intense and intoxicating smell. It hurt my nose and throat and affected my breathing. When I asked her to what it was she ignored me and continued to do my lashes. I had to deal with it because I wasn't going to poach someone that was doing something so close to my eye. All I wanted to do what get up from the recliner couch she had me on. When her next appointment walked in she said I'll be with you in five minutes she hadn't started my other eye. One the rushed eye there are a few lashes aren't glued on like the others and it's probably because she rushed. I really wanted to like this place. When I first got there, (I had an appointment), I had to wait 25 min before I could even be seen. No biggie, but was annoying especially since their door was locked and I couldn't even get in and had to call twice to see if they were even open. Second, before I started I asked if I could use the restroom, my eyelash lady had to go as well. So we go upstairs and when we finish I notice she doesn't use soap when she washed her hands. I was grossed out thinking she's going to be touching my eyes soon, but think ok she will use hand sanitizer at the least.. She didn't. No gloves no nothing. I was horrified. Then when I said I wanted the lashes to just barely be longer than my eyelashes, I was looking for natural look, I got left with hoochie lashes, took that was horrible. When I went to pay the lady didn't know how to work the iPad to charge me and overcharged me, but I figured ok I'll just use that as my tip. She said she would call in 3 weeks to schedule a filling and I was on my merry way. I immediately went home and searched ways to take eyelash extensions off, steam, coconut oil, you name it I tried. I had glue on my lash line which really hurt and they were so long I looked horrible! Since my attempts to take them off didn't work, I went to trimming them, which sufficed. I wasn't happy with the lashes at first but they worked out fine once I was able to remove some and trim them (without trimming my own eyelash). I am sitting here 4 weeks post appointment, no phone call to fill (even though I wouldn't!) and as I remove the eyelashes because they genuinely hurt or they fall off, she had put like the biggest chunks on 1 eyelash. No wonder it wasn't natural looking. I am disappointed with my service and plan to never return. read more

Best eyelash extensions in Oahu! I am a strong critic when it comes to my lashes as I am an educator for Babe lashes! I know what is good work versus what's sloppy, rushed & sometimes even dangerous! I was greeted & taken to my super comfy recliner upon arrival! To be hot in Hawaii sucks & it was so cold they offered me a nice soft blanket with my service! I requested mink lashes because I know they're the best & not all companies really give you mink, there's are, super SOFT!! I was so comfortable I fell asleep! Me and my friend went to lash up I got the Russian mink lashes and she got the regular one. She said its best to go for the Russian mink lashes and pay the extra money. She went "13" she's thinking she should have gone shorter but it looks really nice to me. I did the "11" only cause they said my lashes are thin and short and wouldn't handle the weight very well. I texted the number 8082552763 to make an Appt to remove my eyelash extensions (done somewhere else thank goodness) because they were growing out and I didn't want a fill. The person that texted me back confirmed and said I can come in at 3pm. This is the number they have on their instagram. So I go in to the salon at around 250pm and literally everyone just stared at me like "um what are you doing here" so then I was finally like "hi I have a 3pm appt for lash removal" and the lady that replied is still laying back the chair and said "ummm ok" and so she went on her phone for a good 30 seconds while I'm just standing there and then sh get up off the chair and tells me to sit down where she was sitting. Already I feel so uncomfortable and not welcomed but I really needed my lashes removed already so I just sit down and wait. Then the lady show me her phone and asks "is this your number" and it wasn't so I said no, it was some mainland number I'm assuming because it didn't start With 808. So then after I told her no she looks at ma and asks "so you want to remove your lashes today?" And I replied "yes. I texted your guys number and made an appt for 3 (which is now)" and she still was acting hesitant about it but then she just laid me back and was like "close your eyes". Like umm ok, and then she starts literally PICKING at my eyelash extensions to the point where it HURT like she was plucking my lashes, and that's what it sounded like too. I asked "are you also taking my natural lashes off too?" Because that's what it felt like and a she just tells me no. Seriously, I was ready to get up and leave because it hurt so bad but I needed this done already.
