I came across Lash Studio a few months ago when I was looking to try eyelash extensions for the first time and I have never trusted anyone else with my lashes. Karen and Jamie are so so great and so sweet. I have recommended them to coworkers and friends alike because everyone I meet compliments my long, full, lashes. When you walk in, the vibe and aura are so calming. There's water and tea available while you wait. Be advised that if you've never done lashes before, it takes about an hour per eye, so pee ahead of time. If you're getting them re-filled, it's a lot less time. If you're a new customer you do receive 5% off and if you pay cash, you get an additional 5% off. Don't forget to tip your lash ladies! As a marketing and advertising professional, my main reason for leaving this review is because I genuinely want this business to succeed and get the word out. I've been coming here for over 3 years and they are the best for lash extensions. I have always been to Jamie who owns the studio, and she is fantastic. She is so patient and takes care of my lashes, I'm so lucky to have found her! Got a recommendation from my cousin. Booked through yelp, no problem. The owner is very knowledgeable, she showed me all the types of lashes and asked me what i wanted. After deciding what type of curl i wanted and the length, she gave me a beautiful set of lashes for $90 and an hour nap. Will definitely rebook when I'm back in LA! read more

I used to go to Gloss for eyelash extensions, but unfortunately, they no longer exist. Reluctantly, I was still a part of their contact list via text and received a note that they have opened a new space called, Lash Studio. Fast forward to now and I have been seeing Jaime for all of my appointments. She is sweet, informative, and gentle! I almost always fall asleep and try my best not to jerk when I fall out of sleep, lol. I used to get the silk C-curl lashes 9-10-11/12 (sort of cat eye), but now I go with the air lash C-curl lashes 9/10-12-11 for a bit of a "round" shape that puts more focus towards the middle of the eyes. It's a bit lighter, which I definitely needed b/c my natural lashes are pretty thin! Either way, you can't go wrong with anyone here at Lash Studio. Give it a try, ladies! I've been a customer here since 2016. This review is for October 22, 2022 and I was so pissed it took me this long to write. I was hesitant to come because I had a couple pretty bad experiences in the past which was one of my last visits here (one lady reeked of chain-smoke and was so stressed she PRESSED chemicals directly into my eyes AND the set started falling off the day after), but I had a flight out day of, my lash lady was booked and it was all I could find during the pandemic on short notice. I wasn't happy with the end result because the lash set was so sparse for $100 (I was surprised to find how thin it was compared to previous pictures from when I used to come here). It also hurt the entire process, which should never be the case, but I was going camping and just really wanted to be able to go make-up free. At the end one of the lashes was stuck to my undereye and the owner Jamie said "did you try brushing it?" Um, you JUST finished so no? When she couldn't brush it out she had me lie back down and PLUCKED the lash off my eye which HURT. I just wanted to get to my flight so I didn't complain. I told her I didn't have cash so assumed I would use my card or Venmo. She asked for Zelle. No problem. I sent her $120, along with a screenshot from my bank that it had been completed. She stated she didn't receive the money and called her daughter who apparently owns the bank account(?) She asked if I was requesting an Uber (I always do) and asked me to wait a little longer, which I was fine with. Then she changed her tune and said her daughter would text her when she received the payment, and kept saying she wasn't receiving it. I repeatedly showed her my account balance and even broke the privacy of all my bank transactions showing it was completed. She kept saying she couldn't let me leave when she didn't receive anything, so I asked her to call the bank and she said she couldn't because her daughter was out with her friends. Ma'am, that isn't my problem. You asked to use Zelle on a Saturday and it went through on my end, but you don't want to fix it yourself when it doesn't work properly on yours. I'm not going to miss my flight because your daughter can't be bothered to resolve an issue HER bank is having for the sake of YOUR business, nor can you hold me hostage. Then Jamie asked me to pay her again and said she "will return the other payment as soon as it came in." HELL no I am not paying you $240 dollars because the payment method YOUR business uses under YOUR daughter's account isn't working and YOU don't want to solve YOUR issue with YOUR bank. I even offered she speak to my bank directly and she refused. She insisted other customers usually paid her twice and she returned the money when the rest came in. Everyone and their grandmother is aware Zelle explicitly warns clients to be careful using Zelle for purchases. It's clear how much this place has declined because her best employees left, and NO decent business would ever ask a client to do that. The fact that she tried to use ME to solve HER business issues after at least half a decade of being her clientele was insulting and atrocious. Your client paid using the payment method you chose. Your bank is having issues. Your product was already subpar to begin with, but your client patiently deals with your bs. THEN you have the audacity to cut into their flight schedule AND double-charge them because you chose a poor payment method for your own business and can't be bothered to troubleshoot your own bank which isn't even yours, it's your daughter's, who is too busy frolicking to prioritize a business transaction she agreed to use her bank for. Does any of this sound LEGAL, much less professional? You could have swiped my card, used Venmo, etc but no, YOU chose this route. YOU are responsible for YOUR own bank and business. And the fact that you would gaslight me and tell me "it didn't complete" and "I'm not asking you to pay me twice, I'm returning the money when it comes" seriously? You're still charging double instead of resolving your shady ass business practices. It isn't my fault you don't understand how these transactions work. I do not work for you. Troubleshoot your own bank - through your own daughter?? - YOURSELF?? The fact that she was openly comfortable blatantly asking me to commit fraud and potentially scam me was WILD. Then she had the nerve to question why I was pissed? After being patient through ALL THAT? The AUDACITY. I told her if her daughter refused to call her bank WHICH WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM, it's still not MY PROBLEM. I'm not a shitty person so it took me THAT LONG to realize I already paid and could just..GO. I noticed the studio was empty besides me while every other lash place was booked through November said plenty. But I hadn't been back in 4 years for good reason and frankly, I'm not surprised. This was simply the straw that broke the camel's back. After 6 YEARS' worth of customer loyalty. You've been warned. read more

I've tried 2 different eyelash extension styles that she recommended me and I loved both. Karen is very precise and takes her time with each lash, making the final look as natural as ever. Very easy communication both with making an appointment and any questions you may have--for me done mostly by text, which I prefer. I had gone to another drive-by lash studio in a mall (huge mistake.) I forgive myself because it was my very first time in my life getting lashes, and mistakenly thought just about anyone could do it. Wrong. Big wrong. So the black glue was globbed on so much that my eyelids hurt and I had to sleep on my back because laying on them at all was horrible. Made an appointment at Lash Studio, actually a little terrified of how in the Sam Houston they were going to take off this mess on my face. I was surprised the be led back to what's basically a massage table where you can lay down horizontally (obviously lol,) which lo and behold, makes it so much easier for the technician to work on your lashes and take their time. Who knew?? Dana was sooooo patient and gentle which was awesome because my anxiety about the whole thing was through the roof by the time I got on the table. I thought they were going to tell me they were stuck on me for life, or at least charge me more to take off. They didn't, and I appreciated Dana's calm, slow work to remove them so much---so I did tip her very well. I got mink lashes, which looked very natural and pretty fantastic in graduation pictures! The next time I go, I will probably try the Airlashes, because through the course of this, I figured out I like a slightly more dramatic look. Just not crazy glued to my eyeballs like the mall lashes. read more

First time getting eyelash extensions and I am glad I came to the right place. First I must say that the location is in a small shopping center, I drive by here ALL the time and never really noticed it. I came in and was greeted by really friendly staff. One of the girls went over pricing and the different types of lashes and sizes they offer. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything, made my choice extremely easy. The total process took about an hour and a half. The girl who was working on me, I think her name was Jamie, was very gentle. I came in here because a friend referred me and I'm so happy with my lashes! I wanted a bold and full look and that's exactly what I got! I did the corn lashes ranging from 9-13 in length and my eyes pop so nice! It took about 1.5 hours and I got a nice nap in! I'll definitely be going back! The lashes are beautiful and pretty much what I wanted but the woman that was doing them taped my bottom lashes down wrong and I was literally like in so much pain and could feel the paper or tape or whatever it is hittin my eye but I couldn't open my eyes and I asked her to move the tape but it was still so painful. UPDATE: true woman who owns the Lash studio made everything right in the end and was willing to accommodate me in any way to make things right read more

A real gem! So fortunate to have found them on Yelp. Salon responds to inquiries very quickly (via text), plenty of parking, secure spa space and offers incentive for cash payers. I've been doing lashes for over six years, permanent eyeliner for three and this studio is by far THE BEST in terms of quality, service and cleanliness. I try to come in every two weeks for a fill and the lashes are always full, light, gentle to the eyes and lasts longer than other salons (with proper care). Did my upper permanent eyeliner and touch-up with them as well and it was by far the most pleasant experience I've ever encountered compared to the other two salons I've been to. I would definitely recommend booking with Jaime (she is so nice!) read more

Just did my very first eyelash extension ever with Jamie today and she was amazing. First, I was late because of the heavy traffic in LA highway and I immediately told Jamie and she was very understanding about it. When I arrived there, she greeted me nicely and explained the difference between various lashes. I chose to use the dramatic mink and wanted to do the full lashes. The process itself was mostly pain-free. Well the glue still stings a little but that's normal. As Jamie was working on it she told me that I don't have much original lashes and it wouldn't hold if I do the full one so she gave me the 75 lashes instead of 120 - a little over half. After she finished doing that I just love it. It looks very natural and nice. What i love the most is that they offer really affordable price but they maintain the high quality lashes and work. Will definitely come back here Tips: the garage parking entrance is a little hidden. It's located across the car wash entrance. Also, the shop is on the second floor and you can take elevator to the location. :) read more

I'm so happy I found this place! I went in last night for my first lash extensions. I had my service with Jaime. She was wonderful, she explained all the different options and I love the final result. (Of course I picked DRAMATIC lashes) Getting the appointment was also very easy. I sent a message via yelp and they replied a few minutes later. And were able to see me the same day! Other positives: free parking, price is reasonable, and very relaxing. read more

My first time doing lashes! I had a great experience, they explain to you the different types of lashes and ask what you are looking for. I wasn't sure what to get so I let her decide. She recommend the bigger ones, but they look nice and natural. Next time, I'll make sure to get shorter lashes. But overall great experience, and they take their time! Amazing! Parking does suck, I say just park on the street! 8a-6pm it's minimum 2 hrs. read more

The Lash Studio is relaxing. My 2nd visit 2 weeks ago I accidentally wet my eyes 4 hrs after I had it done so most likely the lash can fall off. Last June 11, Friday I came back for a refill. I don't mind paying again. The left eye was full all the way with full lashes but right eye was not I noticed when I came home. I did not look at it very well that day. The cat eye look was only on the left eye not on the right eye. I told the technician via text but unfortunately I had to work the day she mentioned she can do it. All the schedules I asked her were fully booked. With the amount I paid I was not satisfied with the service. I should really look close before leaving. read more

I was looking around for a good lash technician and when I looked on yelp I found this place! When you first come in it's very calm and very clean! I've been going to Jaime for my lashes and she's amazing! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she executed it perfectly! She takes her time and you can tell she's very meticulous when it comes to applying lashes. She's always making sure I'm okay during the process asking if I'm okay, cause laying down for some time I can get kind of fidgety (thanks ADHD) definitely recommend coming here! read more

Updating my review but Connie no longer works at Lash Studio, and I've tried getting my lashes done from other beauticians and 1) was heavy handed and almost made a dent in my forehead 2) hand was SO sweaty and clammy all over my face. (I am mortified as the owner of this studio tried to have this post removed TWICE!!!!!!...I have taken down where Connie has moved to, but the public still has a right to know about my experience)!! read more

I have been doing lash extensions for the past 2 years. I used to go to another studio prior to Lash Studio and at that place, my lashes would only last about 3 weeks. By the 4th week, my lashes would be BARREN. Found Lash Studio by chance about 1.5 years ago and have been a regular since then. All I can say is Jamie is the sweetest person and definitely the best at what she does. She's never late for the appointment (which is a plus!). Each session is about 1.5h long and the extensions will last 4-5 weeks. It's definitely worth every single penny! I really don't want to post this because Jamie's schedule is getting packed and yes I'm selfish! However, I owe her this - I've been able to get up 30min before work and not having to worry about doing my makeup lol. So.... thank you Jamie! xx read more

This has been my favorite place to go for lashes for two years now. My lashes end up staying way longer than they advertise and look great until the very end. All of them are so incredibly talented and kind. Walk out so happy EVERY single time. There's parking underground (FREE) and the shop is really clean and comfortable. I came here today & am totally happy with the result! To that review that mentioned "they almost dent her forehead " that was extreme!! Lol! And the "sweaty hand on the forehead" I personally didn't have a problem with that either. She did not put so much or any pressure on my forehead & her hand was not sweaty. They add a soft paper band to the forehead for sanitary reasons. I think that the owner trying to get the post down was fair if she was trying to correct the problem. I have gotten my lashes done for 2 years now & can honestly say this place is a nice professional place of business. Their hours are so flexible! The place is big & private at the same time. My lashes turned out awesome:) Thank you Jamie!! I will most definitely be back for sure... My daughter loves her lashes done by Michelle:) Thank you!! read more

Rude receptionists/owner…read more I was running behind schedule I reached out via phone and text message to inform them that I was running behind schedule to see if they can still accommodate me or if I needed to reschedule for another date later in the month and find someone else to do my nails today however, when I called, they failed to answer the phone but immediately text me and said "text please" so I text them to inform them of what was taking place and ask them to give me a simple yes or no. she failed to respond so I continued to call and they did not answer until after the 15 minute grace. when she answered the phone, she was very rude and told me that she would not be able to accommodate me because I was late and that I would have to pay a fee in order to rebook which is completely understandable however, why did you not tell me this 30 minutes ago as I'm driving to your location? Poor customer service s lack of communication. Rude Hispanic lady who answered the phone.
