I've been to many eyelash extensions salons but the service here is like NO OTHER. Oscar seems to be the front desk person who answers the phones. I scheduled my first appointment with hum and He is so friendly and accommodating and I honestly have no words for his customer service. I came 30 minutes before my actual appointment so I expected to wait. After ONLY 5 minutes of wait time, I was ready to get lashed up. Everything was explained to me before they did anything which is always good. my lash technician's was soo gentle and she made me feel so relaxed. She even threw me a short massage after. Im soooo glad I didn't pay full price for the lashes that I received.. I bought the full set of classic cashmere super YY3D coupon off of groupon because I needed to get my lashes done the next day & everywhere that I asked, were already booked. I've travelled around lash places, in search for a go to spot so I've had lots of different experiences, but this was truly the worse. I was about 5 minutes late to the appointment because I had trouble finding the location, so when I got there, I wasn't really thinking straight.. I didn't realize that I was never asked what type of curl I wanted (I typically get D curl, I received maybe an L? Not sure, but it didn't look very curly). The process was annoying because as the technician tried to apply the lashes, she kept poking me & it started to sting alittle. As she poked my eyes, I would sort of twich or squint my eyes because of the pain.. which I heard a loud sigh following that. I felt that it was sort of rude & she didn't even ask me if I was okay.. Also, she took way more time on my right eye than my left which I assumed she ran out of time since the next customers arrived? As she combed through the lashes, I felt a pull which meant clumps of hair were probably stuck together. After ten minutes of leaving the place, I went to look at myself in the mirror at TJMaxx & found three lashes hanging off my eyes, facing the wrong direction. The lashes were also VERY thin which isnt a preference because it made my lashes not look full enough. Four days in & my lashes already looked crazy. There were many facing the wrong direction & I couldnt even comb them out without hurting myself or pulling them out. I would definitely NOT recommend anyone going to either locations because my friend that went to the flushing location told me the same thing happened to her. read more

I'm not sure why or what happened to this place. The guy Oscar use to be really friendly to me and my family. But they continuously kept messing up when my mom got her lashes done, and I had kept informing them about the incorrect day. Which they corrected at first. This time was a bit different. I usually schedule appointments online thru message and Oscar who handles the appointments usually books them for me. Usually I get my moms lashes done every 2-3 weeks always on Saturdays. I messaged Oscar the only guy there if he can put her in this Saturday and apparently he messed up dates and thought she did her lashes august 7th? Instead of the 28th major difference. He said this before I said the correct date that "but either way she's passed 3 weeks" I was shocked he was so rude. Anyways I told him the correct date. I told him the correct date and he was Curt about it again like he doesn't want to message .further more I asked about appointments And he said that there's no appointments very bluntly. I was shocked I asked during the week and usually he fits me in late and apparently there's 0. His customer service this experience was very curt and rude. I won't be taking my mom here any longer. I've gotten eyelash extensions at a few businesses, more than a handful. This was the best experience I've had, by far. From the minute I walked in, the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. Even though I'm familiar with getting extensions, my technician walked me through everything and explained what she thought was best for my eyes based on what I was asking for. She was suuuuper gentle and there was a short massage after that was amazing. I could barely feel her applying the lashes, which I was a little nervous about at first because I thought maybe they wouldn't adhere completely. I've accepted the fact that I'll typically lose a lash or two between the time of application and the following day. I haven't lost one yet, hopefully it stays that way. I'll definitely be returning! The technicians and receptionists at Lash Princess are courteous and kind. My technician was thorough and gentle. My lashes came out great. The location was easy to to travel to. The actual studio is small and tight- like everywhere else in New York City. There are 4 tables/beds in one room which are about 3 feet apart. So, if you're concerned about social distancing- you may want to reconsider this space. Also be advised that there is a minimum $20 "highly recommended" tip. I tipped my tech $15. To my surprise, my technician was disappointed. Subsequently, I was informed that the tipped and asked to pay $20. I purchased a Groupon and it's the holidays (and COVID), so I wasn't terribly upset about ask but it was uncomfortable. The tip was not listed on their website, on the Groupon, or mentioned during the phone call when I scheduled my appointment. I think they should make this more clear before people make a decision to visit. read more

J asked for natural full in 8,9 and 10 since my natural lashes are naturally short. I left wirh bitterly wing lashes and in different curls so inner corner sticks up and there are gaps in between lashes. I texted I didn't like it and sent them photos and they lie lie lie. First says she can see 8 and 9 then says 10 is the shortest rhey have. Then they pivot again and say they can see 8 in inner corner when clearly it's not. I had found this place via a Groupon and I am so glad I did. I have been getting lash extensions on and off since High School and now once in a while get them for special occasions, letting my natural lashes breathe or just doing my own lash perm during breaks. I have had some hit or miss experiences with many places from Groupon, but THIS place is more than a hit! I had never ever experienced a salon with such quality work where my lashes actually stayed on for over two months! Other places do not use good glue or they use old glue that needs to be replaced and they try to save money. Well that is not the case with Lash Princess. The woman that did my lashes opened a new glue to bond my lashes and my cashmere lashes stayed on, none had fallen out even after a month of some spa, sauna treatments and trips to the Russian bathhouse. AMAZING work! The only thing that was tough for me, was that they are quite expensive. While they do offer a monthly membership price, I do not think it justified the cost because their lashes stayed on so long that I think I only need to come back every 6-8 weeks vs 2-3 weeks. I hope they give a different type of membership for the people that do take very good care of their lashes and only need to go every two months. The ladies here are quite knowledgeable and they made my lashes look so full, long wispy yet natural and not overly done. read more

This place is breaking the law and the people are unprofessional and rude. They charged a 10% fee for using credit card which is way above the legal percentage allowed in New York. There was no signage, or notice of this illegal surcharge when I booked the appointment. They told me about it once I got there. This is for sure a money laundering business!! They insist on you paying cash so that they don't have to pay taxes. You need signage and a max of 3-4% is legal to surcharge on a card in New York only if you have signage. Once I got to the front to pay I did the math realized they were illegally charging me 10% and decided to tip less. They made a scene in front of everyone and demanded I tip 20% on top of the illegal 10%. Run away don't go here. read more

Will never go anywhere else. I've gotten faulty lash extensions elsewhere and really harsh glues that burned my eyes. Not here! I didn't even have to ask for sensitive formula. The lash techs are so thorough, steady-handed, and unbelievably friendly. They remembered my "order" of lashes after maybe two visits. They've never messed up or poked me in the eye or anything. They also use the Fresha booking system so you can add it right to your calendar from the site and reschedule/cancel when needed. It's super helpful because it shows you when your last visits were so you can plan accordingly. First impressions on the place was delightful. I was greeted by the gentlemen who is super sweet and welcoming. My eye technician Ula is the BEST. She's super sweet and knowledgeable about what about what styles works for me. She took her time to make sure my lashes were perfect and they did. Probably the best I've seen compared to many places. She didn't rush me and made sure to dry the glue so I'm not caused any discomfort from glue. They even offer a quick massage while you fan your eyes. That was just the perfect touch after laying down for more than an hour. They give you a spooly for your eyelashes and antibacterial sponge cleanser. After a week, I noticed a few pieces that have fallen off in a specific area and they offered to fix immediately without any hesitation regardless of Whos fault. Customer service matches the level of care and artistry. They offer reward program so you benefits the more you go. LOVE that.
