They traveled to a hair salon close to our venue in order to do my bridal party's makeup and hair simultaneously, but they would probably travel anywhere! They were on time, cleaned up all their supplies, and were very appreciative to their salon staff for using their space. I found their pricing fairly reasonable for bridal makeup services and I especially liked how the tip was included in the total price for both my trial and our day-of makeup services. My bridal party was pretty impressed and everything went very smooth the day of.

Yesterday was my birthday and this is how a $168 gift to myself turned into a complete failure…read more I had an eyelash extensions appointment with a different salon that was unexpectedly canceled last minute, therefore leaving me to call around town to find someone who could fit me in on such a short notice. I was able to connect with Jori (the owner) at roughly 1PM and was scheduled with Brier (the stylist) by 4PM. The service took roughly three hours to complete and this is the completed work.... I am astonished that my service turned out to be so horrible when a reviewer below had the same work done, by the same stylist, and had better results. The eyelashes were promptly removed this morning by a different salon because they were beyond repairing without starting over again. I believe I am making a reasonable/accommodation by request a refund for the cost of the service and allowing the stylist to keep the 20% tip for the products used. However, the owner disagrees and believes that I should be sympathetic to the stylist because she was able to accommodate me on a special occasion (as if I wasn't paying for service to be done) who is a contracted employee who rents out space in the salon. Lastly, the owner said I should accept a partial refund due the scarce amount of customers booking appointments due to the COVID pandemic. Additionally, the owner offered to give me the refund I am request in a form of a gift card to the salon to be used for other services but again, that is impractical given that I do not plan to return. I also find it unprofessional that Jori has stopped responding back to my messages to completely rectify the situation at hand. If you wish to get quality eyelashes done, I do not recommend Blush Beauty Room. (PS the last photo is the service/style of lash extension I as hoping to receive.) UPDATE: I stopped by the salon today to dispute the service in person and I received a full refund! Jori stopped responding back to my text messages (picture attached below) and this was the only option I was left with. Since she was servicing another client I offered to sell them the gift card instead to receive the refund back in cash to which she declined and directly refunded me instead. I will NEVER be coming back and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Also, she told me in person that she already reported this google review because it was false (pictures and text messages don't lie) and cursed me out as I was leaving... do better!!

I followed all after-care instructions and wore dark loose fitting clothes home and didn't do anything the rest of the day except lounge at home..but I still ended up with weird uneven streaks on my hands and wrists. It wasn't as bad as when I got a spray tan by a machine (mystic or norvell) and the rest of my tan looked great, but I just wish the tops of my hands and wrists looked more natural.

So this is the 3rd time I tend to schedule an appointment with a specific person and at a certain time and every time I go I am paired with someone else. I would say it's fine but then I don't understand why on their website it would have me choose a specific person if they don't pay attention to that. Today I went in with a 9am appointment and once again didn't get the person I requested as they were working with someone else. I decided to continue with the person they placed. I picked a deep pink mauve color. When the person brings the color it's the one I selected on the chart yet when he puts the color on it's a yellow brown and I communicate is this the right color as it does not match the tag on the bottle either. The first coat looks yellow brown he insists it's the right color and I need to wait for more coats of color. I decided fine let me wait for the end result as he is done with all the coats. During the prep of my nails there are certain cuts he makes so I bleed obviously and still proceeds to use the nail paint brush even tho it just touched some blood which I thought wasn't sanitary for whoever will use that color next. As he applies the coats the color definite does not look like anything I picked. He takes some color off and reapplies the coats on several fingers and at this point my hands have been in and out of the machine like 8 times. Because of this I have some fingers that are not the same color. For example my ring finger looks darker brown and the rest yellow brown. Then by the end he tries fixing the end of where he applied nail polish and is way too harsh with the nail filer that he creates a cut. Over all my experience was not great and even tho I communicate the color wasn't it I just felt like there was no accommodation or realizing that yeah the bottle is labeled wrong.

When I go to threading, I typically request sideburns in addition to brows (I have brown hair and I like cleaning up this side profile before events/trips.) during the treatment, the individual threading my sideburns went well beyond my sideburns into my lower chin, cheek, and more, which I was not comfortable with as I have sensitive skin and treatment wasn't requested there. I have experience threading this area and it was well beyond other's scope. The individual had difficulty with my right sideburn, the first side she did, and proceeded to rush the left side. When I got into my car after paying and tipping, I noticed that I had three bloody marks on my lower chin where she cut me with the thread. This is highly upsetting, given I had come in for sideburns and this area never should have been in scope, and now the skin is damaged. I am happy to share photos of the chin cuts at people's request. I read through 1 or 2 negative reviews below and I would agree with the sentiment that there must be a few new staff outside the owner that are less experienced. Still a solid affordable place, but wanted to share my experience.
