You get one flashlight and that's it. Plenty of props used around the area. Kudos to the scare team to be hanging around the woods just waiting for the next group of people to come by. For the price, there were more jump scares than Casa Loma. Just wish it was longer. This is how an arcade should reinvent itself…read more We were glad to find this Playdium location in Whitby years after the original Square One location closed. The arcade space here is massive featuring many games as well as an elevated rope course and several air hockey tables. We took advantage of the $20 eat up game on deal for kids to have a meal and 1 hr all-you-can-play which can be activated after the meal is eaten to maximize the fun including claw machines. Card fee is extra but can be recharged via a prior game card. There is a large dining space in addition to the party runs ideal for group gatherings. The kids meals were huge, including large pizza slices or burgers that came with fries and a pop drink. Suffice to say our group had a great time at Playdium Whitby for several hours. We miss the old batting diamond at the OG location but this reinvention with Cineplex targets younger kids. Skip it or hit it? Playdium is once again a great place to play and we're glad they're popping up all over the GTA including at this Whitby location.

Music was pumping and all was amazing. They have a lobby area with a small arcade (I stress the word small with only a claw machine, 2 arcade machines, one pinball and a single motorcycle machine. Each token is $1.00 and you need 1-2 tokens for each. For the bike, it seems like many people didn't know how to throttle (tip: roll your right hand away from you). There's a pool table area which has two single bathrooms. There are two decent sized party rooms to book for events. Overall it was a nice place. Back to the laser tag. Fifteen minute rounds were sufficient. It's enough to get your heart beating and you're moving around enough to work up a sweat. The equipment was nice and newer. The LED lights which changed colours when you get shot was bright. The laser beams were visible since there was a smoke machine. There were allegedly three bonuses to get rapid fire and other useful things but I only found one. We played 3 rounds in total. Spaced out so another group went in between each of our rounds. All in all it was a good time. Check it out if you're in the neighbourhood.
