Really fun place to come for a bowl! The prices are fair, about 27$ per lane per hour. The staff is ridiculously nice and helpful for when things go wrong. The service was pretty good, price was very decent (with group deal voucher), and environment was so-so. I found the music to be a bit too loud, making it hard to hear each other. Also the TV screen that displayed our scores had horizontal lines scrolling down it, and the place where we entered our names and such was hard to see without a flash light (mind you we were there on cosmic bowl night, which was more like disco night). The schedule on their site didn't quite match the days they had cosmic bowling when I called to make the reservation. They were repairing half of the lanes (the ones on one side), so they weren't usable, however they had several lanes available. I had made a reservation in advance though, so we were all set in that respect anyhow. Mostly-so, I found the service to be pretty good. Didn't notice any (intentional) rudeness, so all-in-all in that respect, I was pretty happy. Assuming the pricing on their website is correct, the regular prices are pretty decent for most days/nights. We got popcorn with the voucher I had, which ended up being very good. It did make us thirsty though, so I guess that was part of how they made some extra cash off of us :-) The location for me as well as my friend I went with wasn't ideal, so mainly due to that reason, it's not likely I'd return. Great place to bowl. I come here every weekend! - - - CON: I came here tonight with the intention of using my Vicinity points. As I frequently come here, I expect the workers to know if the points system is up-to-date or not. If you do not know the points system works, maybe you need to be re-trained. The young boy at the counter was not sure of how the points worked or how to check if the system was updated. - - - I won't stop coming here, however, if I am unable to use the services because of an employee's lack of knowledge, then yes, that will bother me a bit. read more

My family try to visit here weekly. Sunday's are cheaper after 5. Great way to end the week. My son who is 10 loves to bowl. As stated in other reviews the place is in the basement and older then others out there. But I remember my parents bowling here when I was younger (they were in a league) maybe that's why I feel comfortable (where others call it sketchy) The service is amazing very helpful and friendly staff. Any problems we have had were addressed quickly. Not because this place is fancy, but when you walk in through those old doors and down through the stairs into the basement, what you have or not have in your mind will be blown away by the extent of this place. 2-3$/game. If you don't know what you're looking for, you could honestly walk right past this place. When you do find the sign, you're led down a dirty stairwell into the bowling alley. Bowling is very cheap here. My group used a Groupon and it ended up being around five dollars each for us to split the cost after. Due to poor planning by one of our members, half of us were stuck without lanes as the employees told us they were reserved. A third of the lanes were empty though, so I'm kinda peeved they couldn't spare two lanes. We waited a little over half an hour before they gave us lanes (and maybe one new group showed up, so that still didn't fill all the empty ones they had). I ended up only playing for half an hour before I had to leave (but the rest of my group continued to play). This was my second time going bowling, and despite all the shortcomings, it was enjoyable. Came here with a groupon - but even without one, it was a pretty decent place to come to. It seems slightly sketchy being in the basement of a plaza, but the service was friendly, many lanes to play on, and you can bowl in glow-in-the-dark which is a great option if you have kids, or just love neon lights (me!) Finding a ball is a little difficult, but I'm sure you can steal one from a family who decided they need to take 10 balls for their group of 3. Before you start reading I would like to disclaim. This bowling review is SOLELY for the food service department. NEVER have I ever experience terrible service as I have here. The older Indian man, who I hope to GOD is not the owner looked like he hates his job. Me and my cousin were pondering about the poutine before ordering, (no one us behind us ) my cousin orders first, as i was next I asked him what the large poutine size looks like. "the sizes are right behind me YOU ARE HOLDING UP THE LINE, I HAVE A LONG LINE AHEAD OF YOU. I need to answer to who is next." He waves to the person behind me and tells him to come. I tell him kindly, i am next and would lie a large poutine. He shouts at me again saying it is 20 minutes, and signals the person next in line, completely ignoring me. I'm sorry but did you think i was not going to put my foot down. Again, I say firmly, You are calling next but I. AM. NEXT. I am right behind him. Finally! he relunctantly takes my order, huffing and puffing rolling his eyes, throwing my change and refusing to give me my receipt when asked. I said, "will you remember us in 20 mins? he said YES, you don't need a receipt". uh Yes i think i do. For all i know, based on your behavior As i am paying he yells again IT WILL BE 20 MINS. I KNOW I said, that is fine. In all honesty i believe he just didn't WANT TO MAKE the poutine. the man hates his job and breathes negativity to anyone that steps near him. Can't attest to the food or the service, but the bowling itself is quite cheap! Definitely a great option for people who are just looking for a casual place to bowl with friends, especially if you can grab the groupon for it. VENUE you know, if you get passed the old lockers and the old floors, this place has everything you need: a bowling alley, bowling balls, bowling shoes, and screens with pretty pictures. Do I really care to pay double for more shiny floors? PRICE we went on Thursday and it was 1/2 price games!! I think it came out to like a dollar a game! already cheap but this is even cheaper. SERVICE so I planned a party for my dept. we had about 16 ppl. I really like the staff that work here, they're really nice and helpful. I love the glow in the dark bowling on Fri & Sat Nights. They play top 40 hits and you can dance while you bowl. Reasonable pricing and good facility nice and clean. I haven't tried their restaurant so can't say anything about that. Overall, I will be back! read more

I i'm not, normally, a bowling person but it was fun with my friends. And I guess that's what it's all about with the place like this. The music was good, the washrooms were clean, and they had glow-in-the-dark bowling. It makes a good place to hang out with friends or to have a birthday party, mix in a few drinks and you've got a good night out. Kennedy Bowl offered discounts on their services through livingsocial which i believed to be a great deal. It allowed 6 people with 6 shoe rentals for 2 hours. All that for 20$ I decided to buy one thinking one day i could definately use this to take my siblings out. I had the day off work so we all got together and headed down to Kennedy Bowl. As soon as you enter the place it looks old and worn down. That didnt bother me one bit though because at the cost we got, i wasnt expecting much and ultimately was there to have fun. We approached the counter with the deal and the lady was extremely rude. The place was occupied by maybe 1 or 2 other groups. She made a big deal about us not having a reservation and just the overall tone of her voice was condecending. I just thought how rude.. maybe this woman has menopause or is extremely unhappy in life - so I ignored it. I had to go to my car to grab my socks and change to pay for the tax difference for the coupon. In that time I could not find my shoes. When we went to the counter to speak to the gentleman... he was no different. He said "I asked someone else in the group and they said no", IN THAT SAME TONE (That person didnt even know there was a pair missing) I asked why everybody here has an attitude? And was just given MORE attitude. I gave up.. i asked whether he was the owner, he said no and then i asked for the business card. I think that if a business is putting out these coupons it will attract a lot of new customers like myself. Which could potentially become the spot for a weekly bowl. However, if new customers feel unwelcomed. Guess what? They will not return. On the plus side we were given a 5 minute notice that our 2 hours are done. (Didnt feel like it though) As well no one came to bother us while we bowled. Had the service been friendlier I would definately return. read more

Kennedy Bowling is a great place to be! The staff are always friendly and ready to help out whenever they can. I have held staff events there and the food is tasty and the prices are great. I often contact them last minute to ask about having one of my work groups attend and the assistant manager always gets back to me as soon as possible and helps us out. Kennedy bowl is a fun place for all ages. On Friday nights they have a special and it's always busy but you don't have to wait for a lane. Saturdays it's busy too but in a good way. Horrible customer service. Made us wait 15 minutes to get a lane when multiple lanes were free. In addition the person at the register jacked up the price. The board in the front indicated a lower rate. We let him know and he still wouldn't give us the lane. Either false advertisement or he tried to take advantage of us. I left after that. Ten pin bowling. When we called to reserve,they told us that they served food. When we arrived for our reserved game, the kitchen wasn't open. When it did open, we wished it hadn't - awful food, only bottled water available for sale. Facilities were filthy, equipment in poor repair.
