My review is coming from the perspective of a group who only wanted to do Laser tag during a bachelor party. Laserdome is easy to find, directly off of 283, and they have adequate parking. You might want to leave your coat in whatever vehicle you drove here for convenience. We called ahead checking if we needed reservations and they basically said walk-ins are fine, has not been crowded. Upon arrival multiple children's birthday parties were ongoing and it was crowded. This place is not large and that's one of the issues. Moving around here is a bit of a chore. Center of the first floor is where the cashier is located, along with various LED TV's showing what packages you can purchase. The process of working our group though the cashier was easy enough, but the details on what time the Laser tag starts is something Laserdome needs to work on. It felt very vague. They do eventually call your group over the intercom. While we waited, we did wander around checking out the place. Game quality? I would say most of the current game selection is 5-10 years behind more modern arcades and are due for an upgrade. They advertise Pinball, and only had three machines. They do have a snack bar, with soda, pizza, and ice cream products. We eventually moved upstairs to a quieter area until we figured out what was going on with Laser tag. The Laser tag equipment is your standard vest and gun type. It was free for all when we played, everyone for themselves. While the area is two stories and full of neon and dark lights...having 30ish people in this space was too many. At best, the Laser tag game was ok. If you have a family, and are looking for a day out in a self-contained area that your kids can't get lost? This is probably an option. Would I return here for the arcade or Laser tag? No, alone there are better options for the arcade in the surrounding area.

What a great family experience! Tons of games to play while you wait for laser tag! Very enjoyable!

Come on. Who doesn't love Lasertag? They just refurbished the place and put in new more accurate lasers and new games. Sometimes I take my kids, sometimes I just go for fun. WOO lasertag.

Wanted a gottshall family fun night and decided to come here. When you check in on yelp you can get a free arcade card which gives you 5 hours of unlimited free games. There are only certain games that are free (pretty much you can't earn tickets) but we don't want that stuff anyway so this was fine). There are lots of packages to choose from and the manager was very helpful in explaining everything to us. We really just wanted laser tag. So we purchased a session and off we went. Before it started we had a video tutorial in a briefing room where there was seating. The two young men who were our staff were actually very helpful and Informative. They looked like high school boys so I just pictured that they wouldn't care they'd just be there because they had to. But they proved me wrong. They were super friendly and mature and were very good at keeping everyone in line. The course itself was fun and I laughed like a hyena trying to avoid getting shot. We played two games in there and really enjoyed ourselves. Afterward we played some of our free games but we were getting hangry so we headed off to find dinner. I'd do a birthday party here or come back for just a random night of fun! It was a well run facility which I feel can be rare for this kind of business in the area.

Laser tag- there are two windows on the 2nd floor to check out the action.

The boys had to much stored up energy at home, but it was 27 degrees out and dark outside.... so we headed out to Laserdome to release it. When we got there there wasn't much of crowd. I bought them both the $19.99 package which includes: 5 hours of laser tag, $5.00 game card and racing zone. Also, added another $5.00 to the card, so I think they were upgraded to the 25.00 package. The boys commented, "We forgot how much fun this was!!!" We are sure to return again. This was money well spent. We did eat French fries there and they were hot, delicious and Reasonable priced. If I were to recommend anything it would be to keep the food area wiped up. There was salt and oil on the stainless steel counter area. I'm a mom I felt the urge to wipe it and clean that area. Otherwise, we love this place! ------------------------------------- Update: went there last night and wasn't as much fun. Many of the racing games were being hogged by kids and adults. There should be a limit on how long one person can play at a time. Reduced stars now.

One of the rides the kids loved. Too bouncy for the over 40 year olds in the house.

They discussed their concerns with the tent people and together they worked it out perfectly. This was above and beyond Shumaker's call of duty. Seeking input from us, our wedding planner, Briana Dixon of Nouvelle Weddings, Kaci Willwerth, the wedding coordinator at the Inn at Leola Village, and Tracie Boyer, the Inn at Leola Village's floral designer, he was able to transform our ideas into reality using his amazing design talents. Beginning early in the morning of the wedding day, he and his team brought trees, bushes, plants, flowers, soil, mulch, sod, stone pavers, bricks, fountains and landscape lighting inside the Casa di Fiori, transforming it into a truly magical venue that really had to be seen to be believed. The result exceeded even our highest expectations and there honestly was not a single thing that could have been improved upon. Every guest commented on the amazing "fairy tale garden" atmosphere of the venue. I e-mailed a few people, and Melissa was the first one to get back to me. We were married in July 2011 and worked extensively with Melissa and her assistant Katie. At our first meeting I was unsure if a wedding planner was really necessary. We live in Maryland and were having our wedding near my family in Lancaster County. After we spoke with Melissa and Katie it was clear we needed a wedding planner. We didn't quite realize everything that went into planning a wedding, and were confident that they were the people to help us. Melissa helped us find a venue and all of our vendors. She also negotiated between us and the vendors and negotiated our contracts. Trust me- you need Melissa. The last thing you want to do is negotiate contracts before your big day. Since we live out of state Melissa also gave us a few suggestions for vendors and coordinated meetings. We wanted vendors who loved their job and were good at it, and Melissa found us those people. We never would have found those quality vendors if we hadn't been working with Melissa. She also helped us find vendors that were better and cheaper than the most expensive vendors. She knew exactly where to go from flowers to cake to buying a dress to getting the dress altered! Melissa and Katie made the lead up to the wedding and the wedding day run smoothly. Her and Katie answered e-mails quickly and they received many e-mails from me regarding anxieties about the big day and our plans. They made sure our wedding day was stress free. We had such a great time that we are ready to do it all over again next year. I would recommend working with Melissa for a small wedding to a big wedding to an upcoming event. Melissa is a really calming presence too and was very supportive throughout our wedding planning process. She really got to know us and was able to give ideas/suggestions that we loved for our wedding that matched our personalities and preferences. During the week leading up to our wedding, we had an unforeseen change of plans and Melissa communicated with all of our vendors, reorganized our wedding timeline and worked this out with all of vendors, all basically behind the scenes to us and with no added stress on our part. Everything she coordinated and planned was taken care of - nothing fell through the cracks. If you're an anxious couple or tend to worry about worst-case scenarios, Melissa and Stylish Occasions is perfect for you - working with her and knowing the type of person she is will remove all this anxiety. We planned our wedding from out of state and she was super flexible with doing teleconferences with us and vendors when needed instead of meetings. She also helped us figure out which meetings were truly important to do in person. She helped us navigate innumerable wedding decisions and weighed in with her extensive experience when we weren't sure what to do. The best decision we made without a doubt was to hire Melissa as our planner. There is no way we could've had the wedding we did without her expertise and help. Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Spooky Nook PA is an impressive facility purely based on size alone…read more The complex is massive and at first glance it is hard not to be amazed by how much is packed into one location. There are countless courts fields and activity areas which makes it clear why this place attracts so many teams tournaments and large scale events. The variety of sports and amenities offered is a major positive. No matter what sport you are coming for there is a strong chance it is supported here. The layout allows for multiple games and events to run at the same time which is convenient for tournaments and families with kids participating in different activities. There are also food options and areas to sit which help when spending long days at the complex. That said the sheer size of the facility can also be a drawback. Navigating from one area to another can be overwhelming especially for first time visitors. Clearer signage and better wayfinding would make a big difference. It is easy to feel rushed or stressed trying to find the correct court or field on time particularly during busy weekends. Crowd management is another area that could use improvement. When events are in full swing the complex can feel extremely congested. Parking can be challenging and walking through crowded corridors with athletes spectators and equipment can become frustrating. The overall experience during peak hours feels chaotic rather than streamlined. The facility itself is functional but not always comfortable. Some areas feel worn and could benefit from better maintenance or updates especially considering the high volume of traffic the complex sees. Seating can be limited and not always ideal for spectators staying for extended periods of time. Overall Spooky Nook Sports Complex delivers on scale and opportunity but falls short in execution. It is an impressive venue with huge potential but the experience can feel overwhelming and tiring rather than enjoyable. With better organization improved navigation and attention to comfort it could easily earn a higher rating. For now it lands at a solid three stars.
