I've always loved the actors here and the different themes that they have. There is a lot to do at Shocktoberfest. We usually do the hayride, prison, and the haunted house, where you can run around naked or something if you get a special group. I have yet to find friends who would do this with us... The actors are among the best and I like the design of everything here. When you walk in, there is a Jurassic Park like entrance with a zombie on it. This year, we bought some cinnamon rolls from a food truck that was there. Tasted amazing, but not sure if that's always there. A good time and look for coupons online.

After this show, I doubt I'd see another show here. The area is conveniently located across from a hotel, which is great if you're traveling to Reading, PA like we were from another city or state. Unfortunately I cannot review the parking situation, because with took a Lyft there. But it seemed like everyone parked away from the arena. All of the staff was extremely friendly. From the attendant that helped us find our seats to the nice lady who sold us the $15 deuce-deuce can I'd Trulys. It's really sad how ridiculous these arena prices arena! The seats at the Santander were horrible. Of course because it's a concert, everybody was dancing and having a great time, but the seats were wobbling and moving more than we were. I felt like I was going to end up in the floor! The sound system wasn't the best either. Most times, the music was completely overpowering the artist. For these two reasons, I doubt I'll be back. But the concert was great!

There is plenty of parking surrounding the place. The staff is very friendly especially the guys at the front. I've been there a handful of times and each server was very nice as well as quick to get what we needed. There's only one gentleman there who is very rude to the staff. The place is usually jumping so I do suggest going earlier if you don't want to wait. However, I've never waited more than 20 minutes when the place was packed. The staff is very quick to flip tables but I never feel rushed. The lobby isn't huge so be prepared to stand if it is busy. It's simple Italian food served quickly. They have a variety of things to choose from including daily specials. I typically tend to start with their salad with cheese, because as simple as it is, it's delicious! The pizza is excellent. I love their white pizza! The slices are a good size (Sicilian). We've had different fried appetizers and they were all decent. The drinks are inexpensive as well as the food. It's always a good place to bring the kids. Definitely recommend joining.

The Holiday Boutique boasted local artisans & German food. We were NOT disappointed. There were a variety of local vendors selling their products. If you're a supporter of small businesses, then you'll love it just like me. You will find so many talented artisans. In addition, there was food & drink to be had as well. On this chilly day, we opted for hot cider. If you get cold, you can warm yourself up at the many little fire pit stops. This was a super fun day!

The venue must have somewhat recently been updated as my boyfriend said the layout was different then when he was last there. We went for a metal show and the doors opened promptly. The staff was nice, they did have someone checking bags, keys, pockets and doing a pat down at the door. Once inside our tickets got scanned and ids checked if we wanted to drink. We were given a wrist band for that. The bar was in the back and they did have a room off to the side that appeared to be like a snack bar. They had a smoking section out back since there was no re-entry. The sound and lights were great. Overall it was a good show and a nice venue. I'd go again. It was in the middle of Reading but not a super congested area, mostly residential.
