Marcel is an incredible nurse who I was lucky enough to have administer my service. LaserAway should be grateful to have her. I was annoyed with all the gimmicks and promotions and wheeling and dealing that goes on with Laser Away from a corporate standpoint. It's silly to have to use a decoder ring to figure out what special goes with what with the exclusion of this and minimum purchase of this on your birthday month but with the membership..I can go on but you get the point. Ultimately it's about good service with strong people forward facing such as Courtney and Brooklynn who were kind enough to help me break down my membership and offerings. A+ for the quality of providers and staff that work here - my suggestion is just bank on that as your customer draw. Don't normally leave reviews often but when a job is done exceptionally, it's worth noting. Been attending sessions the past year for tattoo removal and so far the service is what you may expect - top notch. The staff at this site in particular have been prompt with booking/canceling appointments and are mindful with follow up reminders. Often times a service can burden you with trying to sell more services or rely on a good word of mouth to flourish as a business. That's not really the case here at the Valencia location since the customer service speaks for itself. The strategically placed pamphlets throughout the location is enough to dive into the offerings so there is no need to chase you down. Understandably, everyone's experience will differ so you'll just have to find out for yourself. read more

I didn't have much confidence in trying out new places for my skin care until I tried Laser Away. The staff were professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. Today was my first ever session of Botox and with Laser Away. I was extremely nervous about getting Botox as I was fearful of have a reaction or bruising. I'm also not a fan of pain! I was greeted with a welcoming smile from the receptionist, who then had Nurse Marcel provide the treatment. Marcel was AMAZING! Just a calming attitude and the most gentle way with the needle. I am still in shock of how quick and easy she made the whole treatment. Makes me regret not getting this sooner. But definitely glad she was the nurse to provide such gentle care. I'm updating my review from last year because LaserAway had my review removed from yelp due to me referring to an employee at this location by name. She was in sales, and came on HARD. She would not take no for an answer. She even tried to butter me up by telling me how pretty I was--I saw through this right away as a cheap sales tactic. Anyways, the miscommunication was partially on my end because I did not read the fine print of the Groupon. Since I had previously purchased a Groupon and used it at LaserAway I was not eligible to do the same thing more than once. However, to begin the story, when the I called to schedule my appointment, I did, in fact, inform the sales rep I had purchased the Groupon, she scheduled me anyways. I realize now she only did this to get me to attend the appointment so she could upsell me. When I arrived to the appointment, I was informed I was unable to use the Groupon. She said she could apply the cost of my Groupon to a package of 3 or 6 sessions. For context, the Groupon I purchased was $250 and the packages she was trying to sell me were upwards of $2k. I was a bit upset because she failed to disclose I was ineligible for the Groupon during our initial phone call, where I specifically stated I purchased a Groupon and had also done so in the past. After repeatedly telling the sales lady (who I shall not name lol!) I was not interested in purchasing $2k worth of packages as I only needed one touch up session, she refused to take no for an answer and continued trying different tactics such as offering me financing! I know she works on commission, but damn! I exited the room and decided to go speak to the lovely young lady at the front desk. She kindly explained to me that I was not eligible to use the same Groupon twice. I get it, I should have read the fine print, my bad! Sales lady interrupts our conversation and gives me MAD attitude. She was eventually asked by the lovely front desk girl to leave. Sales lady proceeded to walk away but she did not fail to make a passive aggressive remark on her way out. I found it extremely rude and unprofessional to behave that way at work, especially towards a customer. I have never experienced this before--usually I'm the rude one! Haha JK! Hats off to LaserAway on the top notch customer service!! I apologized to the lovely front desk girl for the miscommunication on my end, but did let her know that sales lady's remark was completely unnecessary and left. Anyways, the reason I had to rewrite this is because I recently went to the new Mendocino Farms next door, and guess who I run into?? SALES LADY from LaserAway! I was trying to place my order and the gentlemen helping me out was making usual chitchat and being an absolute delight by trying to ensure I ordered the salad I wanted (that's how you do customer service!!). Sales Lady had the nerve to interrupt us and say "can I get a drink? because I only have 5 minutes?!" Apparently I was taking too long. Then 10 minutes later I saw her sitting on the bench outside smoking a cigarette (I thought she only had 5!). Anyways, one thing I learned about this woman is that she's a you-know-what at work and a you-know-what in real life. Great job, LaserAway! You sure do know how to pick em! A piece of advice, when you hire someone to SELL your product, they literally become the face of your brand. They leave an impression on your customers and although I've had several pleasant experiences at LaserAway, this is the one I will never forgot. read more

This review was based on my experience with the sales specialists, and has nothing to do with treatments. Janelle, a treatment specialist and I spoke on the phone. During our conversation I found her description of the recommended treatment to be colorful but vague. I mentioned to her that I had a treatment from another company. Although I didn't tell her which treatment I had, she recommended moving forward with a treatment from laser away. I found that to be a red flag. She also was unfamiliar with the duration of the recommended Laser Away treatment. Their quote was emailed as an invoice, an incorrect payment format. The next day, I begin doing research as to which direction to go, and I received a second email, which was an overdue invoice, again incorrect format and high pressure sales tactic. Janelle said Laser Away prices will be cheaper than their competitors however, the price was about 15% higher. After a day of consideration, I reached out to Janelle again and told her I decided to wait a few months before I make a decision and then I'd prefer to have a different specialist talk to me because I just didn't feel comfortable with her At this point, her tone became condescending, stating experience and pedigree as a treatment specialist, Finally she said" I should take my business elsewhere" and hung up the phone. Hey girls'!! I've been getting tattoo removal with LaserAway for the past 2 years. We started on my second tattoo removal last year. These girls know their stuff! I just love that from the moment you walk in the door you just feel the girl POWER! It's such a vibe. I believe I've written a review before, but this review is to celebrate the experience I had taking my mom yesterday. I had my treatment done by Jessica "My Unicorn" and she was amazing per usual. My mom has been wanting to get a hyper-pigmentation mark removed from her face for years now, and she finally decided to do it. I wanted to bring her to a place that I knew would not only welcome her with open arms, but give her an amazing experience. From the moment I introduced her she felt right at home with the team! I've moved to different cities and still stuck with Laseraway because they always make me feel so comfortable in every single one of my appointments. I definitely agree with the other bad reviews as well. You'll be cheated and lied to. First off, there isn't any pricing anywhere. They'll call you and come up with pricing and tell you it's such a great deal. They'll keep pushing you and pushing you, convincing you till you practically have to just do it. Secondly, they swear by their laser hair removal. I've had about 10 sessions and nothing happened. Every time I'd go in, I'd tell Winston(lady at front desk) it's not working and that I don't see a difference. She'll keep insisting it takes some time. Next month it'll get better, next time. Well came my last treatment and when I told the girl at the desk. She said I could pay for more treatments. WHAT?!!! That's ridiculous when I've told them I couldn't tell the difference. Lastly, when I did the review laser away sends you and I went in for one of my appointments the attitude had completely changed at the front desk, made you feel uncomfortable. Here I am still paying for my laser hair removal and done with the treatments that they swore would work. This place is horrible!! Don't believe them that it'll work. read more

This is my first time going to LaserAway and allow me to say that Lindsay was the reason as to why. I had previously called 2 other spots but none were as much of a help as Lindsay. She showed the upmost professionalism over the phone, she was beyond informative as well as comforting. She provided me with so much knowledge and was able to answer all my questions. Even after the phone call she was quick to set me up with a nurse and an appointment. The communication was there as well as the rapid responses via email. To add on she is very friendly in person, it's obvious she genuinely cares. As far as my procedure, I highly recommend going with Jessica. I was a bit nervous going in be she was able to talk me through the process, she's very friendly as well which provides that comfort. I've had a few sessions for laser hair removal and RN Tati is great. Shes sweet and takes the time to ask if anything hurts / if a break is needed. Some aftercare is also offered at the end of the appointment. The girls at the front desk are always nice and friendly as well. Both RN Tati and reception always answer any questions.
