If you want to be swindled, robbed, cheated, lied to and have your money taken away then this is your place. If I could give minus stars I would. I called and talked to Christie who I would say is worse than a used car salesman but that is insulting a used car salesman. So I'll just call her a snake oil sales woman. I called to have some hair laser removed from my back and shoulders. She gave me a price which was to include removal of the hair on my shoulders and back. This was all done over the phone without anybody ever looking or seeing what hair needed to be removed. I was told full treatment had to be paid in advance before she would make an appointment which I paid. I went in for my first treatment and when ask what I was having done, I said back and shoulders. The girl doing the treatment said she was only allowed to do the shoulder because that's what was written down by Christie. I was told if I wanted the rest of my back done it would cost more than what I paid for. I didn't get what I paid for and they were already trying to upsell after first appointment. Went in for my second appointment. This time the girl said she was only going to do a patch of hair on my upper arm because that's all I paid for. Now if I want my shoulders done it would cost more money. Again trying to upsell for service I already paid for. I ask for a refund of the remaining unused services because I was going to go get the remainder of my treatment done at a more reputable business that wasn't going to try to cheat me out of my money and services promised. They refused to give me a refund of unused services so now I'm forced to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I can't stress enough to stay away from Laser Away unless you want to be cheated and lied to and not get the services you paid for. I don't normally write bad reviews but felt it was necessary to warn others about this unscrupulous business. read more

Wonderful service. I have been to many LaserAway locations. Including but not limited to Woodland Hills, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica... So on. Had a meh experience at all of them. This Laser Away is the best and worth the drive from the west side. I align my appointments to come out here because they are flexible and pleasant. The other locations would not leave my numbing on for the full 30 minutes necessary making the laser very uncomfortable. Here they make whatever you need happen! This business is deceptive, greedy, and unethical. I do NOT recommend them to anyone. Point blank, Period. I hope by being honest and sharing my experience ( and my time) you can make a more informed decision and take your business elsewhere. I signed up for laser hair removal here over a year and half ago. When I sat down with the woman ( I do not recall her name) I explained to her my struggle with hair on my face/neck as a transgender woman. I shared that I shave every single day of my life in order to avoid many different forms of harassment. My plan was to come in for laser initially and whatever was left over I would get electrolysis on. I got the nurse practitioners clearance for them to do a test patch and see if I was a good candidate. They did a section on my neck and the nurse said the hair did react well and I would be a good candidate. I was then told by the woman she recommended 10 treatments (which ended up being well over a year plus COVID) and she told me I would see a 40%-70% reduction in the hair on my face/neck. I had no problems paying more than every other place IF what I was being promised was rendered. I paid exactly $1694 for 10 full face/neck laser treatments. About 5 treatments in I asked if the results were typical because I saw no reduction. The woman at the time explained I was now at the highest setting and for some people the results really start to show towards the end. At the 8th session I expressed to multiple people my frustration and dissatisfaction thus far. I hadn't seen any reduction in hair on my face/neck. I asked the ladies at the front desk If this was typical for 8 treatments and when I removed my mask there was nothing but silence. That itself spoke volumes and I was extremely embarrassed to even have that reaction from the staff. I contacted customer service/ corporate and I was re-routed to someone at the front desk calling me asking me If I would be interested in a maintenance package. Mind you this was before my treatments were complete. I declined and said how disappointed I was with service so far and asked why I should pay for something more when the minimum results were not yet met? I had my final two treatments.... and was then asked again if I wanted to pay for an additional $500 maintenance package. I declined. I reached out to the customer service/ corporate again for answers and remedy. I was contacted via phone and asked to come in again for a "assessment". When I arrived at my appointment the nurse looked at my face and said all my hair was red and no more treatments would matter so there was no point in continuing any further sessions as they would not work. I asked her why they signed me up for something that wasn't going to work and she didn't have a reply. I ended up receiving an email from customer service/ corporate saying they wanted to offer me extra laser sessions after their nurse told me that it wouldn't make a difference. I then requested a refund because I saw no results. I got an email reply saying " You signed our contract", and essentially too bad. I replied again stating you cannot have sales people who lie to customers for profit then denying a refund when it doesn't work.... when you knew it wouldn't work. It's fraudulent. Then requesting a full refund once again. I never got a reply back. Please do not make the same mistake I made and choose another business for any of your beauty needs. As for LaserAway.... This is for you because I know you will read this comment and I hope you understand how I feel. If your employees are signing people up for services under false pretenses that is called a scam. If you have so many great reviews and happy clients then why can't my money be refunded? I have a full face/neck of hair still. The treatments did not work. I should be refunded. It's the right thing to do. It's good business to resolve a guest complaint within reason and I am being completely reasonable. read more

I have been going to Laseraway since September 2022. I love the nurses who provide the services. They are knowledgeable, kind and caring! I have had the clear and brilliant laser treatments, the IPL on my chest-décolletage, and Thermage treatment on my neck. Out of the three treatments, Thermage was the most painful treatment I've ever had since the neck is three times thinner than the skin on the face. This treatment took 30 minutes. No numbing cream so it really hurt. Within minutes I couldn't tell anything was done so if you know it hurts you can prepare yourself and then go to lunch right after like nothing happened. read more

Alrighty, I wanted to wait a few months to before writing the review so I can give the treatment a chance but.... After 8-10 treatments and $5000 on laser hair removal....I have ZERO results. I did mention My concerns at nearly every single visit and the explanation was always "the hair has cycles blah blah blah" the "nurses" are generally not very experienced (with a couple exceptions). Of course the solution to this is to buy more sessions and cross your fingers that they work. I've layered for many years and the other place I used to go to although it didn't work long term, it worked in between treatments. I wouldn't have to shave for 4-6 weeks. However, with the lasers here...There was never a time I didn't have to shave. It was actually pretty frustrating. Star for the staff, they're great. Winston, who I believe is the manager now, is very sweet. Super bummed about my results. Every person is different though so...idk. I do have dark hair, so that's not the issue, I'm not very tan skinned, so that can't be it, my hair is not fine, so that's out of the question....just keep in mind it may not work for you. read more

After my first free tx, I received three different recommendations from the staff and was told what I invested in doesn't benefit me. The laser left me with dark scars on my cheeks and did nothing for wrinkles. I met a client and she was also left with scars on her face from this tx. I got a consultation for lips filler, I was told how much was and what I would have done. I was also told, I would need a touch up around a year. At the time of the service, the nurse in Valencia office told me touch up about 6 months. I was offered other services. I was charge for extra service, took time to refund and they had no record of my payment. My lips are the same as the first time I went. Unfortunately , it last a month and 10 days. I was told my metabolism got rid of it. Just because I'm skinny . I'm skinny because I'm on diet all the time, my metabolism has nothing to do with it. And also, I need it to do touch up every 3 months. The nurse or whoever is in the office didn't give any solution, she even said " I wish I have a future ball to know how long the filler would last" . I call corporate many times to find the person who I talked to during consultation, every time I called I was transfer to the office where I did the service. waste of money. I wish they do better consultation and better communication between the person who does the consultation and the office. Please ask question and what's the warranty if is the body get rid if the product, $500 for nothing is a lot to loose. read more

I told her I already financed 2,250 and she she said I can have someone come in a talk to you and I said again that I already financed a certain amount and she proceeded to tell me I would have to choose another area. I was disappointed but didn't want to be confrontational. I said ok what do you think I should do then? Also I didn't want to spend 2,250 on just flanks being that I was told I HAD to choose another area...she never once told me she didn't have the applicator with her and that I can reschedule. If that were an option I would of been annoyed but I would of took the 80 minute drive again back and forth on a different day to get what I truly wanted. All she had to do was say you can do the outer thighs but not today. I was honestly gonna suck it up but after I was asked how it went I was honest about only being half happy.
