Wow. I had such a great experience today with Kelly. It's been about 5 years since my last Botox treatment, and honestly I'm a little annoyed with myself for waiting so long. I used to go to Blue Med Spa in Sherman Oaks, and every visit there would take 1-2 hours. The whole experience always felt like constant upselling from start to finish, from the front desk to the injector. It just wasn't enjoyable. My visit today was the complete opposite. The office is beautiful and very welcoming. When you walk in there's chilled champagne, orange juice for mimosas, and a lot of skincare products displayed. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first because I thought it might be another high-pressure environment. Instead, everyone was incredibly kind and relaxed. I told Kelly upfront that I had about $450-$500 to spend, and she didn't bat an eye or make me feel uncomfortable about having a budget. She treated my 11 lines and forehead wrinkles for $300, after the receptionist helped me apply a $65 coupon that she informed me about at check out. I was honestly expecting to only be able to afford my 11s like I used to at Blue, where just the forehead area would run around $550-$600 and crows feet were always extra. The difference here was huge. Kelly was thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. She explained what she was doing, listened to what I wanted, and never once pressured me to add anything or buy extra services or products. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I'm beyond impressed with the whole experience and so happy to be done with Blue Med Spa. I'll absolutely be back to have my crow's feet done, and I'm even considering signing up for their monthly pass. Highly recommend Kelly. Thank you so much! read more

This was a very disappointing experience. I arrived 15 minutes late (which I understand is my responsibility), but the way they handled it was unacceptable. The front desk told me they would shorten my treatment by 15 minutes, but if I wanted to cancel instead, they would charge me a $50 cancellation fee. So basically, I was forced to accept a shorter service for full price. I asked for any kind of discount since I wasn't getting the full treatment, and they said no. Very unfair. After my procedure, I had to wait another 10 minutes while the administrator was talking on the phone. No apology. No explanation. She didn't even tell me about payment right away -- just completely unprofessional. Customer service here is terrible. No flexibility, no empathy, no respect for clients' time or money. Tim should take a closer look at his company's agreement and the representations his staff make to customers. Rescheduling an appointment is not the same as cancelling. Though I expect many to cancel their appointments with time given how rude they are to customers. Not even like the services they offer are groundbreaking. Facials were mid just convenient due to SCV location. Put your money elsewhere folks! Not with this rude guy. Tim would rather have people come in for spa treatments while symptomatic during flu season than accommodate a "fee waiver" that isn't even properly documented or communicated. LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS and avoid. Where to start? Had to reschedule an appointment (facial) because of being sick. They insisted on a $50 cancellation fee claiming they only waive the fee "once" and it was already waived 2 months prior when I had to reschedule an appt (not cancel!). At no point was it noted that a waiver of the fee is required when a patient is ill and cannot have a facial. What kind of "medical spa" is this? They clearly elevate themselves to something higher than a legit doctor's office to impose these arbitrary fees with zero accommodation. Glad he told me "I don't care about your business." Tim will continue to lose customers. They advertise themselves as Veteran owned probably for attracting customers but Tim the alleged owner is not a vet so not sure what that's about. The reception is cordial and the service medical staff is very friendly especially the nurse practitioner who seems very excited to do the work and empathetic to my needs. I had a pretty good experience with my aesthetician, Jennifer Duncan. She was a sweetheart and a good conversationalist. I went in last week for a facial and micro-dermabrasion, and I went under my mother's account since she has a membership there. It's $85 for either a massage or facial per month. I'm docking a star for my review because I was informed when I made the appointment over the phone that the micro-dermabrasion would be an additional $50. When I went to pay at the front desk after my appointment, I was still charged $85 as if they didn't even apply it to my mother's account. I explained to them that I was using my mother's available service for the month. I had previously explained that to the receptionist over the phone (my mother was aware of all of this, people!) The girls at the front desk are not the brightest bulbs in the tanning bed, but I got a free mimosa before I left, so that was cool. read more

The amount of disrespect and unprofessionalism I experienced is unbelievable, especially being a first time patient with this clinic and never tried Botox. As a man i wanted my experience to be very discrete but apparently if you go infinitely med spa they could care less for that. I came in last year to get 60 units of Dysport/Botox and was happy with the provider, I am very conservative and get this done about once or twice a year. I called the other day to make an appointment and was told my credit card on file was no longer valid and the new rule is to collect my credit card over the phone to store in the computer prior to making an appointment. I felt very uncomfortable with this as I previously had Identity theft, and I did not even know they stored my other credit card as I was not asked and did not give permission for this. I am very unhappy about this practice. ****Update**** Tim reached out to me to say my card information is protected on there system and they could only see the EXP date. I could not see this personally but was happy he did reach out to me I change my review from 2 star to 4 star. I still can't make an appointment tho because it won't allow me to unless giving my credit card number over the phone or in person I live one hour away so I can't get an appointment because I personally am not comfortable giving my credit card information to a human over the phone. *Tim said the reason is to charge a $50 fee if you don't keep your appointment. They want to be able to charge your card on file.* Compliance with the PCI DSS requires merchants to limit storing and retaining customer names, card account numbers and expiration dates only for the time required for business or legal purposes.
