This place is an absolute scam. They say they don't post their packages because they're "custom" but you buy them over the phone without a consultation. I asked beforehand what happens if the 6-8 treatments in the package don't work and the sales person on the phone said by treatment 6, the hair will be completely gone, but if for some reason it doesn't work, they would compensate a few more treatments or a refund. Well, the treatments didn't work, and management came at me with "Well, we're not the ones who told you that." And "You signed a contract saying results aren't guaranteed." Then I was ghosted by Lizette after I threatened to get a lawyer. I did sign up with a class action lawsuit, so we'll see what happens. Over $2k for a failed treatment after being lied to that 6 treatments would do the trick, when it costs WAY less at other places who are up front about everything. read more

I was reluctant for I got schemed by a similar approach by a different company at the mall years before so I stood my ground and told them I will think about it. I had Botox done at LaserAway about a month ago. They injected 50 units into my face, forehead, and around my eyes. Unfortunately, after two weeks, I didn't see any results at all. I went back to them for a follow-up, hoping they would either give me a credit or do another injection. They told me they couldn't inject more than 50 units. When I asked for a credit, they refused. I called them again today to explain that the Botox still hadn't worked on my face, and so far, they haven't given me any credit. read more

I went in for a consultation many months ago to the Woodland Hills, CA location. I was told by the company representative manager that IPL (laser) would help get rid of my alleged sun damage. I paid for a pack of 6 services. I then went in for the IPL and the Laser Away nurse said that IPL would do more harm and it was not approved for my skin. She said the heat would cause more melasma. Long story short I would NEVER go to any Laser Away facilities. I've told all of my family, friends and clients to NEVER go there too. Multiple times since July Laser Away has promised me a refund check over 900$. I have not received the money. I keep getting the run around which is very dismissive and patronizing. Furthermore there is no consistency on service recommendations. The manager said I was a candidate for IPL and the other staff said no. Lastly Amanda in the corporate office responded to one email that my money would be refunded via check. She has not responded to several calls and emails as I've been following up. I've told all of the people around me to NEVER go to this company. Horrible experience that has left me feeling insignificant and in despair. read more

Today was the grand opening at the Porter Ranch location. It was my first time getting laser so I was definitely nervous, but the staff made me feel so confident and safe about my treatment. Everyone was very welcoming and it was very clean and organized. I was greeted and treated by Chelsea who was extremely friendly and helpful. She explained everything that was going to happen and what I was going to feel. Basically, the feeling is like small pinches but followed by a cool sensation so the pain is VERY minimal. From someone who got waxed for years I can vouch and say laser is less painful. I recommend Laser Away 100% and will be back soon (hopefully not too soon) read more

The girls at the front desk were super friendly and nice. My nurse was running a little behind but the front desk ladies (Lisette and I want to say Jaya but I might be wrong!) kept me updated and they were attentive. The spoke with professionalism and even offered a beverage to me for the wait. The nurse I had was Jessica, she was professional, informative, and we bonded over us being RNs. She was honest and kept me up to date throughout the laser process. This was my first time getting laser hair removal and Jessica was gracious throughout my appointment. Overall, the laser part wasn't bad. For anyone that doesn't know, it feels like a little rubber band snapping at you at sporadic moments. I also have a slightly higher pain tolerance but let me tell you this was NOTHING compared to waxing. If you get waxed invest in laser. Trust me - wasn't terrible. It might change as my sessions go on but honestly nothing can be worse than waxing lol. This establishment is brand new, the location has tons of parking, you might just have to walk a little bit depending on the time of day as it is next to a Whole Foods, but overall not terrible parking. The staff was friendly and again professional, and they all seem to love their jobs! I can't wait to continue my treatments! How lucky do I feel to have this place so close to my house!!! The last time I did Laser was 20 years ago, and I've been nervous about trying it again on areas of my body that I hadn't yet tackled. When I saw the signs go up that Laser Away was opening right by my new house I was thrilled to try it. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! There are so many reasons... 1. When I first called to learn about the company and the program, I was able to sign up for a package deal which included free financing, which I loved. I felt the pricing was fair and I got a lot of bang for my buck. 2. When I went in for my first appointment, I was greeted by two lovely receptionist, who were so sweet and accommodating, Lisette and Jaya. They were able to answer all my questions, and even helped me select some additional treatments, and take advantage of all the promos in the best way possible. 3. Jessica was the nurse that did my treatments and she was so lovely, so knowledgeable, and made me feel 100% at ease. It was clear that she was very experienced and really explained what to expect during and after each treatment. To be honest, I was concerned with a new location, I was going to get an inexperienced technician however, that was far from the case as Jessica has been with Laser Away for years at their other locations. That was a huge relief and made me feel so comfortable. 4. The place itself is so neat and clean. 5. I had initially gone in for just a laser treatment and ended up being able to book my clear and brilliant facial the same day.
