In January I got the co2 cool peel laser level 2 , it took a week to fully recover and I got very swollen the first 4 days but that's to be expected. Besides being swollen my skin healed relatively fast and now almost 2 months later my acne scars look much better. The laser cleaned out my pours and shrunk them. They are now slowing returning to normal size but i only did one peel and 3 is recommended. I will definitely be coming back for another treatment. Complete makeover of the facilities, still the same amazing people! After deeply missing my spa experience here, I returned this year in January only to see the entire place had a fresh makeover turning into a great med-spa. The waiting room is redone so instead of the moody relaxing vibes, it's a bright and friendly space to wait (you can still have a beverage or two). I think their renovations to move around the more quiet rooms (massage and facials) to the back away from the front streets, and creating their med-spa rooms closer to the front is a very smart move. I don't hear the street traffic anymore while getting a massage or facial. And most importantly, my favorite massage therapist is still there going 12+ years strong! Naya Spa came highly recommended to me via a close friend who knew Carolyn from when they were on staff together, in the nursing department at Northridge Hospital. Everything about the spa, from Carolyn's full attention, while thoroughly addressing my issues, to things like the cozy décor and comfort - reflected in overstuffed sofas and soft lighting, cleanliness, and hospitality of the receptionist and other employees, left me feeling relaxed and reassured that I was in a very special place. I have a milestone 20 year anniversary event coming up, and decided to invest in myself and repairing some of the damage resulting from stress and aggravation which has aged my face about 10 years, in less than three years. Courtney in the welcoming area was friendly and started the experience on the right track, offering something to drink (I chose Moscato) as well as variety of chocolates. The lounge area is sooo plush, inviting, and just plain relaxing. My massage with Christine B. with the Aveda chakra oils was just divine. She asked the right questions as to the pressure points and my concerns, she was very knowledgeable and made me comfortable thought out the massage. I had major stiffness in my lower back and Christine knew just what to do. I had the Elements 60 minute massage, it was such a stress reliever from head to toe! To top off such a greatest massage, they had a shower with most if not all of the important Aveda products. The shower had everything to finish off a glorious experience.
