They had me look in the mirror and walk through exactly what I wanted: subtle lifts, micro-adjustments, and the areas that mattered most to me. We prioritized thoughtfully so I stayed under 60 units while still addressing my top concerns. I've never had that level of detail and care before. They also treated areas that are typically uncomfortable for me (including a lip flip and nasal area), and they were incredibly gentle. I tend to be sensitive to pain, and they made the entire experience calm and easy. I haven't seen the full results yet, but the consultation alone was exceptional. I've been here 5 times now. Four for laser hair removal appointments and once for an IPL facial. I…read moreheard about them through a friend who found them on groupon. Outside it says Walk-in medical clinic and if I didn't know this ahead of time I would have been a little confused. There is a parking lot right next to it which is a big plus for me because so many places in Long Beach have street parking only. The inside is clean, no issues there. The women at the front desk have always been polite to me and I've never had any issues checking in or scheduling my next appointment. There has also never been more than one or two other people at most in the front waiting area, usually there is nobody else. I'm always called back to a treatment room within 5 minutes of checking in. After I undress for the procedure my wait has never been more than 5-10 minutes, only once it had been about 10. I've had 2 different nurses and the doctor do my treatments. They have all been super nice and I don't ever feel uncomfortable at all. They are knowledgeable and can answer questions or give recommendations for other treatments but they don't do a full court press on trying to upsell you like most med spas I have been to. I love this because it makes my appointments more enjoyable. I have previously had some laser hair removal treatments done elsewhere before coming across LBC Laser MD within the past few years. In comparison, all three women who did my treatments here were way more thorough than anywhere else I have been. I always felt other places rushed and skipped spots so you would have to buy more treatments. So my appointments here may be a little longer but I appreciate it because if I'm spending the time and money already and staying out of the sun for months, I want it done right with good results. Overall my experience has been really good and I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

There are things I learned by switching that made such a difference for me. After switching I pay $20 less PER appt and get way better results. After 11 months I was not getting any results, not even improvements so I went somewhere else. With Cindy, getting appointments was a challenge and time between appointments effects how efficient it is and getting an appoint kinda felt like a game and untill I found the hack (read on). Turns out there are multiple types of electrolysis. I found another type to be more effective on me and less painful. If you have low sodium definitely look into different methods. This factor and time between appointments was the issue for me. Also, If you're trying to address a specific area, good luck with that, she flat out won't do less than she feels you should. Now a lot of people want every single hair including peach fuzz gone, you will be happy. I get mostly white soft peach fuzz with a handfull of dark hairs in one small area around a mole. I told her not to do certain areas and even tried to activly stop her as she did blond hairs. but she did it against my constant reqests. I went so far as to circle in eyeliner the only area I wanted done but she stilllll did what she wanted. I ended up with dark hairs growing back where it was originally only blond peach fuzz and more areas needed treatment. She swore that was impossible but there was never visable hair there before, now there is; only one thing changed. Everytime I asked for an appointment at a specific day/time she's was all booked up for that whole week. No matter how early I asked or how many weeks I selected. I don't know how to explain it but it seemed disingenuous. But here is a little trick. Ask for an appt half hour after you want it. When she says no, ask her to recommend someone else since that's when you are available. Her schedule miraculously opens for half an hour before you innitally requested. Like immediately, not cause someone cancels, just, now it's available. I did this about 7 times, worked every time but the games seemed unnecessary. I was waiting 6-8 weeks between appts with Cindy. I figured out that time between appts was a big part of the issue for me. Once I started going to Paula every 3-4 weeks as recommended it has been working way better. After switching I have gotten better and more immediate results. So don't just go off reviews try different types and see what works best for your schedule and body chemistry and schedule.
