I have received 2 clear and brilliant and 1 IPL treatments so far. It's still too soon to comment on results, but the front desk ladies and nurses have all been great! The Fort Worth location is clean and I am always greeted when arriving. I have seen 2 different nurses so far with Nurse Mindy doing my last 2 treatments and they always take the time to explain the process and go over after care! My husband purchased a Clear & Brilliant package for my graduation gift that consisted of 6 treatments for $2000. I was so excited and was told by the staff that my acne scars would diminish and my complexion would be stunning after just 3 visits. After my 2nd treatment I started to notice some dark spots on my cheeks and a little on my forehead. I asked the nurse on my next visit why the spots came up after treatment. She told me that it was previous sun damage that was now surfacing after dead skin was removed from the treatments and they would clear up. I continued to get the treatment and on my fifth visit the nurse told me that she wouldn't perform the procedure on me because the laser treatments were causing melasma. Now I have dark spots all over my face!! I have tried all kinds of corrective measures and nothing has helped. Laser Away offered me a free Clear & Brilliant treatment. A bit of history; I am a 51 year old, olive skinned, physically healthy brunette, an 8+ year veteran to laser hair removal. Why 8 because later hair removal is not permanent. It's something you manage every few months... for the first 8 years I went to Tacoma Advanced Laser & Skin who introduced me to laser hair removal and provided stellar service every year for 8+years. My laser sessions ranged between 1.5-3 months consecutively and we're always successful. I moved to Texas 1.5 years ago and after about 6 months found this spot. It wasn't cheap, I bought a package both for botox and another for my laser hair removal sessions (it's not cheap). Since I bought the initial packages I have been seen several times for both Botox and for the laser hair removal (chin/upper lip). Today I went in after having booked my appointment months in advanced, I also live an hr. from this clinic. The clinician asked if I'd been in the sun the last 10 Days... of course I have! I live in Texas. I said "yes in and out. However I do not lay out in the sun". I rarely if ever burn, in fact I might have has 3 mild sunburns in my shoulders in 51 years. I have natural olive skin tone and yes I like the sun but I DO wear sun screen Religiously! The clinician asked if I wore a hat, I was honest and said "no, I never wear hats but I always wear sunscreen". She immediately said "I'm not going to treat you." Surprised, I said "why? There has been nothing that has changed as far as my habits in or out of the sun over the last 3 times I've gotten treatments here in the last 6 months. So you're actually not going to do a laser hair treatment today? Which is what I came in for and scheduled months ago." The clinician then stated " well it's not a total loss.. You can still do a Botox treatment" (my Botox package/"bank" has been used up which means I would need to pay for a new package) hmmm... She refused to provide service to me based on not having stayed indoors out of the elements for the last ten days (again nothing I have ever done in 8+ years prior to a laser appointment) no other clinician has ever done this! They've considered my skin tone, sun habits of never deliberately laying out and the fact that I've never had an issue with the laser procedure AND they have treated me successfully. We even talked about the fact that during winter months I vacationed at my vacation place in AZ.... but my sunscreen regimen was consistent. Still she refused to serve me. In the end I feel it was because Wasn't there for Botox alone. The laser was my priority at this time. I also feel she was irritated because I said that in 8 years of being seen at my original place I never needed to come in once a month! Her response to that was "well we'll talk about that." Then she took me back into the room told me this long drawn out story about her client yesterday who talked non stop about her emotional wellness website and online test... and how she took the emotional wellness test and got like 40 something out of 140 possible... And then... she denied me service! I cannot give positive recommendation for a business with this kind of service to their committed clientele. I asked for a complete refund for what was left of my laser package which was 6 appointments And now have to find another. If you happen to know of a reputable laser,Botox and skincare business within an hour of weatherford please post it here. I am truly frustrated about this experience. read more

The place seemed very disorganized, I waited for almost 30 minuets past my appointment time to be seen. After that I was told that the next available appointment was in 6 week! I started with lower leg hair removal, and was so thrilled with the results, I have since added underarms and Clear and Brilliant laser resurfacing. Their nurses are RNs (hard to find these days) and everyone is so knowledgeable and friendly. Yesterday, I was treated by Lizzie for the first time, and she was awesome! Every person who has treated me has been wonderful. I read through some of the reviews before I began to write, and I really cannot believe some of them are referring to this location. Really. Having a tattoo removed on my foot- which I was told is a pretty difficult place to have removed because of how far it is for your lymphatic system to pull the ink and less circulation- but I just had my seventh treatment and it's seriously almost gone. I purchased 9 treatments and probably won't even need the remaining 2! I'm beyond pleased. No scarring, pain isn't too bad at all, and the staff is always so warm and friendly. i only went here for a consultation about tattoo removal but decided not to purchase any sessions because the place just isn't focused around tattoos specifically and it was so expensive i couldn't afford to take my chances with a place or a laser (the cynosure laser) i didn't feel 100% confident in. they quoted me at $1,000 PER treatment or if i got a credit card through this company they work with i could get 6 treatments for $1,399? they also said that i would need 6-12 treatments just to fade the tattoo for it to be covered up. the tattoo i needed to have removed is large and dark and i just thought i would have a better chance at removal with different lasers. the woman i did the consultation with even showed me a little tattoo she had removed and it was a very small and simple tattoo and it honestly didn't really look faded. HOWEVER everyone at the ft worth location was so kind! also professional and fashionable lol. they gave me a little thank you bag with a tank top and sun screen and stuff. the office is in a great part of ft worth and is fancy/chic/cute/etc. i am honestly thinking of going back for some laser hair removal in the future. i'm giving them four stars based solely on this one experience, so i truly can't speak on their actual services. their customer service was great though. & i was informed that they have actually nurses in the building at all times and i thought that was really cool lol. read more

I went for a tattoo removal consultation (my mom made me ) I was prepared to spend $200-$500 per session as their prices are not posted online, however I was disappointed in how their system works. The facility and staff are very professional and clean however you are forced to purchase $1000 to $2000 packages up front. Once I expressed that I was a little turned off considering I haven't even undergone one session to see how it felt and how my body reacted, they talked about how I could open a credit card and finace. Then when asking if they perform single sessions without a package, the pice I was quoted was $1000. I understand they want commitment but not being able to pay for affordable single sessions FORCES you to do nothing but purchase the packages. I will be starting my sessions next year and will see if my expectations of this facility improve. I had a couple of sessions of tattoo removal at another place in Addison but I was having issues with bleeding and scabbing. I was told it was normal and it will heal if I keep it covered with a bandage and Vaseline. I went to talk with Cameron at LaserAway and she told me this was NOT normal and they were not a "med spa" but a true aesthetic dermatology clinic and I would be under the supervision of registered nurse practitioners. Once I was done with the sessions that I had already paid for at the other place, I went to them and bought a few sessions to see if it was truly better like she said it would be. Well she was right! Not only did the laser it self feel like it wasn't digging into my skin like the other one was but I was not bleeding or scabbing like I was with the other laser. At first I was wondering if it was because it was a weak laser and it wasn't doing a good job but to my surprise it is definitely making a huge difference and I am seeing the results like I should be. The nurse that was working with the laser, I think her name was Karen, was very informative and definitely made sure that my comfort level was appropriate. She kept asking me if I was ok and if she should keep going or if I needed time to rest. I am definitely happy that I switched over to LaserAway to get this tattoo completely removed! read more

I had an initial consult with Dawn, then weeks later received a call advising I was a "no show" for my consult. I had to explain to them that I did go and already scheduled my first session. I got a call the day of my first session appt to be told that they would need to cancel my appt because I was a "LIABILITY" and she said she hoped I wasn't already on my way there. She ended the voicemail saying I better get with groupon for my money back. Ridiculous. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
