Now medical doctors having to get involved due to eye issues this has caused. Serious concerns with safe technique here and accountability. They've essentially deformed my face and I feel like I cannot be in public and meeting with clients. It looks absolutely awful. I paid $1200 for this. An update that they've almost made an apology, but it is a "sorry but we're just going to keep gaslighting you".

I try to support local businesses, and I hadn't heard of this one before, yet it popped up in a search and looked promising at a time when I thought I would try somewhere new, given the staff turnover at Laser Center of Marin. When I arrived, I was surprised to be the only client there. The owner mentioned she was a registered nurse, but there was no doctor on site, and she had to get approval via a video conference before proceeding. That already felt a bit unorthodox and uncomfortable. The actual procedure was, unfortunately, where things really went sideways. I'm someone who's been getting Botox or Dysport regularly for about 30 years--usually 1-3 times a year. In all that time, I've had one tiny bruise, at most the size smaller than a thumbtack, on my forehead after a treatment. After this treatment, I left with two noticeable bruises on my forehead--one of which ballooned into something nearly 20x larger than anything I'd ever experienced and was about half to one inch long. I contacted the clinic as soon as I got home. They recommended taking ingestible arnica, which I did diligently, several times a day, along with icing the area. The next morning, the bruising and swelling was worse. I've also asked twice for copies of the digital documents I signed as a new client, and despite giving them alternate email addresses, I've yet to receive anything. That lack of follow-through, combined with the strange approval process and unexpected physical trauma, left me deeply uncomfortable and has me concerned the person who administered the treatment was not certified or qualified to do so. I truly wish this had been a better experience. But based on what I encountered, I wouldn't return, and I can't in good faith recommend this business. I also believe regulatory oversight may be warranted--something about this setup didn't feel right, and I should never have ended up with this kind of damage to my face with an experienced practitioner.

When I went in for the BBL, they didn't even know what a BBL treatment was, and tried to convince me that their machine, which is an IPL is better than a BBL. It sounds like they lack the knowledge of what the difference is. Results were subpar, and I will not be going back for any treatment. I tried to speak with the Morpheus manager about the deceptive service, and they admitted their staff has a lack of knowledge, but they did not want to resolve the issue. I will just be going to Belle Marin Aesthetics for future services, and more knowledgeable treatments.

I had a really disappointing experience at LaserAway with an associate named Paola. She called me repeatedly trying to sell me Botox, and when I didn't pick up, she left multiple voicemails. I had an actual appointment scheduled, and she left a message saying I needed to call her back about it -- so naturally I assumed it was to confirm my appointment. When I called back, it turned out to just be another sales pitch for Botox. On the day of my appointment, I got a call just 30 minutes before my scheduled time telling me it was canceled because the nurse wasn't in. This was the second time this happened to me. I had already left for the appointment, so finding out that last minute was frustrating. When I called to express my frustration, Paola was extremely rude and showed zero empathy for why I'd be upset. She was hostile and dismissive -- a completely different tone than the friendly one she uses when she's trying to sell me something. After multiple cancellations and constantly feeling like I was being pressured into upsells rather than actually cared for as a patient, I decided not to go back. I found Bare Skin Marin in Larkspur instead, and their staff is far more experienced and genuinely friendly. If you're looking for a place with reliable scheduling and staff who aren't just chasing a sales quota, I'd steer clear of this location. read more

I've been to Laser Away a few times now, both for laser tattoo removal and also for a Clear and Brilliant laser facial. I'm so impressed with everyone there. The salons are bright and clean and the staff is friendly and professional. Most importantly, I'm really pleased with the tattoo laser removal treatments. Although I've only had 2 so far, I can see changes and some fading already. Before and after any treatment, I received great information including how to prep my skin and how to treat it after the laser process. Tattoo removal is not painless - so if you decide to get a tattoo removed, it stings.....but it's over very quickly once the laser leaves your skin. The staff at Laser Away educated me about this. Because I have two very small tattoos being removed, I didn't opt for the numbing cream ahead of time, so my experience is probably more painful than most. If you have larger tattoos, I'd definitely get the numbing cream ahead of time! After one Clear and Brilliant facial, my skin looks so much better! I've seen Hannah for both the laser tattoo removal and the laser facial treatments, and she's fabulous. Their pricing is also up front and fair; you won't be given any hidden fees or negative surprises. They are very honest and upfront with what a client can expect. I recently started going to LaserAway in San Francisco for some treatments. I bought a package for Cool Sculpting and decided to get it done at the Corte Madera LA because they had some more recent availability and I wanted to start as soon as possible. Upon entering, I was greeted so nicely by the receptionist. Trina who was doing my Cool Sculpting for the day quickly came to meet me and take me back to the room. I was a little nervous but she made me feel super comfortable and advised me on what my options were and potential areas to focus on based off the results I was looking for. The whole session was completely easy and she frequently checked in on me to make sure everything was going well - certain areas take between 35-45 minutes so they give you the room to relax. I had such a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back for my next session. I'm also seriously considering making this my home location because it was super easy to get too, it wasn't as crowded as SF and the staff was very nice! read more

This place is amazing! I can't believe they only opened now! The location is extremely convenient and as soon as you walk in the door is it very clean. The main waiting area is perfect to sit in and talk to the wonderful staff at the front desk. They truly know how to take care of you and make the experience as effortless as possible. I got my treatment for an amazing price as well. Once your in the treatment room you are tended to right away and the staff explain what will happen perfectly. The treatment only takes about 10 minutes and other than a slight pinching it is fairly painless. Then I dont experience any pain after and have already started to see the results! I have been to the new Corte Madera location twice after trying the Novato location in the past - the staff at both locations is wonderful. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the nurses, was all super attentive and very patient with my many questions. I did thermage with Sam in Corte Madera and she was top-notch! She kept it real by letting me know all the risks and what to expect, making extra sure that I definitely wanted to proceed before starting out session. She was so friendly and caring, frequently checking in during the procedure on my comfort levels. Sam made the 90 minutes fly by pain-free, with her positive energy and great sense of humor! I just had my first appointment and I am so happy I finally got started. I've had some pretty stubborn pigmentation/texture issues and have always wanted to try the clear and brilliant laser facial. One of the girls up at the front showed me her before and after photos and I was completely sold. My nurse Trina so pleasant and really took her time walking me through the treatment. When scheduling my appointment the girl at the front was very patient with me as we figured out the best time for my busy schedule. I waited two weeks to get in because I did have some sun exposure on my face and I wasn't wearing sunscreen. All in all I am very excited to have healthier looking skin! Friendly Staff, But the Process is Disappointing I purchased a package of 8 sessions for hair removal in the underarm and Brazilian areas. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I was initially happy with the results. By the second session, I noticed a reduction in hair growth, which made me hopeful. However, now that I've completed all 8 sessions, I'm extremely frustrated. It's been only two months since my last session, and the hair is already starting to grow back. Despite the kind and professional staff, the process itself is disappointing. I invested a significant amount of money expecting lasting results, but instead, I feel like I've wasted it. I have never had fillers before and was really nervous prior to my appointment. When I went in Nikki and Janna were really nice and explained the entire procedure and what to expect. Nikki did the injection and it honestly did not hurt! Her technique was great and she was so confident. I was given numbing cream prior and it helped a lot aa well. The office is nice and clean too which gives off a great impression of the environment. I'm in love with my filler and look forward to going in again next year! What I loved most is Janna and Nikki made sure I was comfortable during the appointment and during the touch up I got to use the rest of my syringe. Definitely a great experience!! read more

Had my first appointment for for laser hair removal and it was extremely painless and all of the ladys were awesome! I was created by the front desk workers and they were super friendly and welcoming just letting me know everything about the appointment. The facility was clean and beautiful. when I got into the appointment the lead clinician, Sarah, was just the sweetest person and took great care of me. I hardly felt any pain and she talked me all the way through the short 10 minutes. I had my first laser hair removal treatment with Sarah on the opening day at Corte Madera Village. Sarah was so professional, made me feel completely comfortable, and explained everything before I even had the chance to ask. I have been going to Laser away since October so around 6 months and the Ladies there are so nice and always make sure that you are comfortable and prepared for your treatment. I got a package back in October for Laser Hair removal. The technicians made sure that I was aware of everything before my first treatment and they provided numbing cream for sensitive areas as well as a chiller to make the process feel a lot better. Everyone, there is a "Business Manager", who expresses their concerns and reacts to every review. In case of bad reviews the manager says they would call to discuss the possible solutions and become better, since "they care about their business reputation".... really? It's very disappointing that I have had this happened twice that you make an appointment and someone randomly changes your appointment and makes it 15 min early and you show up on time and they are like sorry your appointment was 15 min earlier. Then they confirm that the original appointment is the time I showed up at. Twice I have had to either reschedule or wait over an hour to be seen. I mean c'mon stop fooling people. I have done Botox and IPL treatments at LASERAway Corte Madera and Trina, my nurse, is beyond gentle and informative i've what she is doing. I am 57 years old and have been doing Botox since I was in my 30s so I have experience with this product and I have experimented with multiple lasers as I have very fair skin and need to keep on top of pre cancers and just normal aging! I went in for Lip Filler and my Smile Lines. Jenae was my specialist and she was incredibLe. I called them, I was in their "clinic" 4 separate times - they visually say this wound. Their response was non- emergent. I am now day 3 in hospital. Day 3 of continuous antibiotics- due to this unsafe - in surgery practices. Lift and 100 cc does not look like this and now with the fluid gone they are sagging and implants infected. They will be removed in a few hours and I will have to start again with my desired lift in a year after reconstruction and recovery. Again no apology's, no email, no calls.
