I had a really disappointing experience at LaserAway with an associate named Paola. She called me repeatedly trying to sell me Botox, and when I didn't pick up, she left multiple voicemails. I had an actual appointment scheduled, and she left a message saying I needed to call her back about it -- so naturally I assumed it was to confirm my appointment. When I called back, it turned out to just be another sales pitch for Botox. On the day of my appointment, I got a call just 30 minutes before my scheduled time telling me it was canceled because the nurse wasn't in. This was the second time this happened to me. I had already left for the appointment, so finding out that last minute was frustrating. When I called to express my frustration, Paola was extremely rude and showed zero empathy for why I'd be upset. She was hostile and dismissive -- a completely different tone than the friendly one she uses when she's trying to sell me something. After multiple cancellations and constantly feeling like I was being pressured into upsells rather than actually cared for as a patient, I decided not to go back. I found Bare Skin Marin in Larkspur instead, and their staff is far more experienced and genuinely friendly. If you're looking for a place with reliable scheduling and staff who aren't just chasing a sales quota, I'd steer clear of this location. read more

I've been to Laser Away a few times now, both for laser tattoo removal and also for a Clear and Brilliant laser facial. I'm so impressed with everyone there. The salons are bright and clean and the staff is friendly and professional. Most importantly, I'm really pleased with the tattoo laser removal treatments. Although I've only had 2 so far, I can see changes and some fading already. Before and after any treatment, I received great information including how to prep my skin and how to treat it after the laser process. Tattoo removal is not painless - so if you decide to get a tattoo removed, it stings.....but it's over very quickly once the laser leaves your skin. The staff at Laser Away educated me about this. Because I have two very small tattoos being removed, I didn't opt for the numbing cream ahead of time, so my experience is probably more painful than most. If you have larger tattoos, I'd definitely get the numbing cream ahead of time! After one Clear and Brilliant facial, my skin looks so much better! I've seen Hannah for both the laser tattoo removal and the laser facial treatments, and she's fabulous. Their pricing is also up front and fair; you won't be given any hidden fees or negative surprises. They are very honest and upfront with what a client can expect. Highly recommend Laser Away! read more

I recently started going to LaserAway in San Francisco for some treatments. I bought a package for Cool Sculpting and decided to get it done at the Corte Madera LA because they had some more recent availability and I wanted to start as soon as possible. Upon entering, I was greeted so nicely by the receptionist. Trina who was doing my Cool Sculpting for the day quickly came to meet me and take me back to the room. I was a little nervous but she made me feel super comfortable and advised me on what my options were and potential areas to focus on based off the results I was looking for. The whole session was completely easy and she frequently checked in on me to make sure everything was going well - certain areas take between 35-45 minutes so they give you the room to relax. I had such a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back for my next session. I'm also seriously considering making this my home location because it was super easy to get too, it wasn't as crowded as SF and the staff was very nice! read more

This place is amazing! I can't believe they only opened now! The location is extremely convenient and as soon as you walk in the door is it very clean. The main waiting area is perfect to sit in and talk to the wonderful staff at the front desk. They truly know how to take care of you and make the experience as effortless as possible. I got my treatment for an amazing price as well. Once your in the treatment room you are tended to right away and the staff explain what will happen perfectly. The treatment only takes about 10 minutes and other than a slight pinching it is fairly painless. Then I dont experience any pain after and have already started to see the results! I totally recommend to everyone if you are looking for laser or any of their other treatments. Thank you to the awesome staff at LaserAway! read more

I have been to the new Corte Madera location twice after trying the Novato location in the past - the staff at both locations is wonderful. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the nurses, was all super attentive and very patient with my many questions. I did thermage with Sam in Corte Madera and she was top-notch! She kept it real by letting me know all the risks and what to expect, making extra sure that I definitely wanted to proceed before starting out session. She was so friendly and caring, frequently checking in during the procedure on my comfort levels. Sam made the 90 minutes fly by pain-free, with her positive energy and great sense of humor! I will definitely be back. Thank you Sam and thank you Laser Away! read more

I just had my first appointment and I am so happy I finally got started. I've had some pretty stubborn pigmentation/texture issues and have always wanted to try the clear and brilliant laser facial. One of the girls up at the front showed me her before and after photos and I was completely sold. My nurse Trina so pleasant and really took her time walking me through the treatment. When scheduling my appointment the girl at the front was very patient with me as we figured out the best time for my busy schedule. I waited two weeks to get in because I did have some sun exposure on my face and I wasn't wearing sunscreen. All in all I am very excited to have healthier looking skin! ( their office is also very clean and they have coffee!) read more

Friendly Staff, But the Process is Disappointing I purchased a package of 8 sessions for hair removal in the underarm and Brazilian areas. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I was initially happy with the results. By the second session, I noticed a reduction in hair growth, which made me hopeful. However, now that I've completed all 8 sessions, I'm extremely frustrated. It's been only two months since my last session, and the hair is already starting to grow back. Despite the kind and professional staff, the process itself is disappointing. I invested a significant amount of money expecting lasting results, but instead, I feel like I've wasted it. Nice people, but the process itself is not worth it. read more

I have never had fillers before and was really nervous prior to my appointment. When I went in Nikki and Janna were really nice and explained the entire procedure and what to expect. Nikki did the injection and it honestly did not hurt! Her technique was great and she was so confident. I was given numbing cream prior and it helped a lot aa well. The office is nice and clean too which gives off a great impression of the environment. I'm in love with my filler and look forward to going in again next year! What I loved most is Janna and Nikki made sure I was comfortable during the appointment and during the touch up I got to use the rest of my syringe. Definitely a great experience!! read more

Had my first appointment for for laser hair removal and it was extremely painless and all of the ladys were awesome! I was created by the front desk workers and they were super friendly and welcoming just letting me know everything about the appointment. The facility was clean and beautiful. when I got into the appointment the lead clinician, Sarah, was just the sweetest person and took great care of me. I hardly felt any pain and she talked me all the way through the short 10 minutes. It was over before I knew it. i am going to recommend laser to everyone because it is so much less painful then waxing and lasts forever. Can't wait to see the results! Thank you laseraway! read more

Laser Away Corte Madera is amazing! Sarah the nurse there is just so incredible and really makes me feel cared for and important; not just as a valued customer, but as a person. I had my first laser hair removal treatment with Sarah on the opening day at Corte Madera Village. Sarah was so professional, made me feel completely comfortable, and explained everything before I even had the chance to ask. Not to mention that she looks absolutely darling in her laser safety glasses!! That put a smile on my face! The front desk team and every other staff member were really friendly and professional as well. Especially Palmer who has talked me through several treatment scenarios and is so kind and friendly. I'm excited to add more treatments in the future. read more

I have been going to Laser away since October so around 6 months and the Ladies there are so nice and always make sure that you are comfortable and prepared for your treatment. I got a package back in October for Laser Hair removal. The technicians made sure that I was aware of everything before my first treatment and they provided numbing cream for sensitive areas as well as a chiller to make the process feel a lot better. I've been to both the Corte Madero Clinic as well as their Novato Location and both places are clean, friendly, and overall very good at what they do! read more

Everyone, there is a "Business Manager", who expresses their concerns and reacts to every review. In case of bad reviews the manager says they would call to discuss the possible solutions and become better, since "they care about their business reputation".... really? Noone has called me yet, besides jay, who was trying to tral me again. See, who they are, don't trust their business managers and anybody. They are SCAMERS! Please read the reviews, especially the bad ones! 0 professionalism, 0 customer service from the top to the bottom... Shame on you laseraway staff! read more

It's very disappointing that I have had this happened twice that you make an appointment and someone randomly changes your appointment and makes it 15 min early and you show up on time and they are like sorry your appointment was 15 min earlier. Then they confirm that the original appointment is the time I showed up at. Twice I have had to either reschedule or wait over an hour to be seen. I mean c'mon stop fooling people. This is what happens when an organization becomes investor backed and they try to over-book and playing around with the schedule as it suits them. read more

Trina was so sweet and kind today. very understanding of my wants and and adjustments to my previous visits at a difficult location. the space is clean and professional. I called that I was running late due to traffic and they had me all checked in before I arrived. It was my first time at this new location and even though it's further from where I live I will be returnin. I can't remember the girls name at the front desk but she was also very helpful and sweet. my visit was stress free and I'm happy to find a location I'm looking forward to returning to. read more

they had me at hello! Just my first phone call left such a good impression... Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful front desk staff won me over. Had great prices and suggestions for treatments that I'd never thought of. I bought a clear and brilliant package and received my first treatment this week. I was so impressed with Nicole's expertise, knowledge and professional care. Everyone cared about my comfort and outcome. They create a truly friendly and warm environment! I did my first laser hair removal treatment with LA yesterday and the experience far exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in the door! Friendly greeting along with a modern and super cleanly space. Trina was my nurse - her warm demeanor and lovely smile immediately put me at ease.
