Terrible experience at Provo Beach. My cousin ran into an exposed zip tie in the indoor playground…read moreand ended up covered in blood and needing an ER visit. Instead of helping or apologizing mid-crisis, a male employee knelt down and told her, "This is why we don't run," while she was crying and bleeding. Completely insensitive and unprofessional. If running isn't allowed, there should be signs or better supervision. An exposed zip tie in a kids' play area is absolutely unacceptable. Plus, what would you expect?? If it's a KID playground, there should be at least one employee or attendant nearby watching them if running wants to be avoided.

The FlowRider is AWESOME!!!…read more My wife and I made the trip up from Las Vegas for my birthday over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. We booked a surf lesson at 2PM, but due to some timing issues had to move it to 3PM which the team was more than helpful in accommodating. It's hard to believe it can be as cold as the high 20s outside and you're inside catching waves on the FlowRider. The pool area is well heated and the water was warm. There are plenty of grandstands for people to sit and spectate. They have lockers to hold / secure your stuff while you catch waves. They have bathrooms for changing, and showers to clean up after (the only thing I wish they had was more areas in the bathrooms to hang or set your stuff down while you shower or change. Even a small foldaway table would have been helpful). Our lesson was essentially a 60 minute private since my wife and I were the only two in the session. Our instructor John was super friendly, helpful, and informative. He gave us a quick overview and had us riding waves within the first few runs, and if you wiped out (which is pretty painless and fun) he'd have some pointers for you for your next run. We each would do 3-4 runs and then trade off and as long as we had the energy John was at the ready to help catch waves. This was a total five star experience, and I can't wait to do it again! It looks like they also have GA type session where you pay the hourly fee and it's open to the public for everyone to use in turn. However, I'd highly recommend a lesson if it's your first time out. You can also rent either half or whole of the FlowRider by the hour should you have a private event or just want to hone your skills.

Awesome place to take your kids. Even just for the adults. I'd recommend getting a wrist band…read morefor unlimited activities. We did bowling, mini golf, rock climbing, and go carts several times. We also played some of the arcade games. The food was great also. For what it was. All proportions are huge. (Except the arcade games) Or, you can pay for mini golf or bowling separately for $10 per person. We first did the mini golf. Turns out he mini golf course is only 9 holes, and it's honestly the smallest course I've ever been to. Each hole is VERY easily completed in two hits. Our 4 year old and 2 year old did have fun, but even at their super slow pace we completed the course quickly. It was nice that they told us we could go around twice, but even then it didn't last long. I was left feeling that $40 was extremely steep for what we had just done. So for our older boy, we paid another $15 to get him access to drive the little kid go karts at least. I thought he would LOVE it, but there weren't any other kids doing it and the course is just a tiny circle so he got bored quickly So we then took him over to the foam pit. This was the most fun for him and he would have easily spent all night playing there While he played, we just got a $5 arcade card and took the little guy to play a few games. This was only enough to play 4 games, but the ticket return was pretty high. Managed to get a handful of little toys. Overall, I came away fairly underwhelmed. $25/person two hours of a variety activities at first seems cool, but each activity on its own just really isn't very exciting and $25 each adds up quickly. For a family of four you're dropping $100 for two hours. My thoughts are, if you want to go bowling, just hit up a bowling alley, if you want a cool indoor playground for the kids with a foam pit go to a dedicated indoor playground, and if you want to play mini golf, go somewhere like the boondocks, etc etc. you'll spend half the money you would at the rush and have just as much, if not more fun.

I recently went here for a birthday party and it was so cute! There were employees that "hosted"…read moreeach birthday party. The party was in a shared party room and at first we were the only one. So it felt like a really intimate private event and we were able to play our music like we wanted to, and then toward the end of our party we had to share the space a little bit. But with the party package the hostess secured we received unlimited drinks from the fountain machine, pizza, and salad. They provided all of the dishes and cleaned up. The birthday child also received a giant card available to be signed by the guests. I don't know if this was just something that our hostess secured or if it's normally an option but she was also able to get passes with a $5 (or so) arcade card for $20 a person. The pass gave us access to unlimited activities and we could reload our arcade card if we wished. Of the activities that I recall are: Laser tag (So fun for adults and kids!), bumper cars, bumper boats, mini golf, bowling, rock climbing, and racing cars (I can't remember the actual name of it). We were not there for long enough to get to do anything more than once because we wanted to experience so much, then I bet if we went back and we went in at open we would be able to enjoy a lot. There's also a food area should you want to buy food or lunch while you are there. I don't know the rules on exiting and re-entering.
