Manicotti pasta with a side of Italian sausage

Awesome place! Great Italian food and ambiance is fitting and comforting. Francisco was a great waiter. It was also all great for the price! I recommend it if you're in the area and have a taste for Italian.

Celebrated today with my family for my birthday. The waiter honestly wasn't that impressive. He was a younger gentlemen that was not consistent with getting drinks what so ever. I went my entire meal without a refill. Overall I felt like he picked and chose who he was actually going to help. The feel of the restaurant is the same as it opened. It is an old school Italian restaurant feel. I had the chicken piccata which was a huge portion of a pasta. I really enjoyed the house salad with great dressing on it. I'd have more of it if possible.

The restaurant experience during my first visit created a positive impression. The restaurant provides a peaceful and charming environment which creates an ideal space to enjoy a casual dining experience. The food quality impressed me more than the service which maintained a neutral level of quality. I chose to eat meatballs with meat sauce and melted mozzarella as well as sausage with peppers and a pepperoni and cheese pizza. The delicious preparation of each dish made the dining experience truly satisfying. The food quality at this establishment earned an 8 out of 10 rating from me.

Great side salad. Very good house Italian.

Fairly expensive but it is so worth it. We used to go here often enough when we lived in Houston. We visited recently and it has that same old world type charm to it. Such attention to detail in regards to the food. Cooked al dente my pasta and sauce. Same with the veal and eggplant parm. Such a polite and courteous server as well. Very good and will probably go again next time we visit.

Godfather Lasagna

I was in the mood for lasagna and heard about Lasagna House, so I decided to give it a try. The location was easy to find, but upon entering, I felt like I had stepped into a time warp. The restaurant's decor was severely outdated and in need of a thorough cleaning and some design revamping; the space felt cluttered. The service was good but make sure you check your food before you leave. I ordered the Meatlover Lasagna, The Godfather Lasagna, meatballs, and mozzarella sticks. While the lasagna was decent, the sauce had an unpleasant canned flavor, which was quite off-putting, and the meat lacked seasoning, making it rather bland. I would recommend this place if you're not expecting a truly authentic homemade sauce or season meat.

My wife and I droped in for lunch due to the good reviews. We went with fried calamari for appetizer. Wife had chicken Picata and for me, chicken Primavera. The calamari was excellent. The seasoned coating was light and not oily. The calamari was not chewy. My pasta was cooked perfectly. However, I found the veggies were just a tab under cooked. Also there was just a little too much olive oil for my liking. My wife said her chicken Picata was perfect. The garlic bread that came with our meal was the bomb, best we ever had in years. The side salad was fresh and tasty with the house dressing. Out waiter was friendly, funny, and efficient. We definitely will return to try other ite.s on the menu.

Carbonara Pasta

Pretty solid place for Italian food. I have to say the standout dish here was the carbonara, which my friend ordered. I fell in love at first bite. So creamy and delicious... but not too heavy at the same time. Loved the use of pancetta here. Calamari was crispy and seasoned well. The cutlet for the parmigiana was breaded well and had good texture. (I believe I had veal). The pasta and red sauce was a bit underwhelming though. The red sauce tasted a bit too sour/acidic for my tastes. Our server was incredibly friendly. I'll definitely come back for more carbonara!

We stumbled upon this spot & although the food isn't the best, the service makes up for it. Once we entered, the server greeted us right away. I'm not sure what her name was, but she was a sweetheart. Making sure our drinks were filled and we never ran out of complimentary garlic breads. The clientele seems to be on the older side and it looks like they've been regulars for a long time. We were the youngest people there and mind you we ain't spring chickens ourselves. But I'm happy to see George's has a lot of loyal customers. While the portions are huge and more than enough to take home, the prices are a bit steep for my liking & it doesn't match the quality either. The food is decent but not worth 25-30 dollars with those dishes. My date ordered the chicken Parmesan with pasta and I got my basic spaghetti with extra meat sauce. Both dishes were generous especially mine. They were not playing around on my dish. It was so much meat sauce that you couldn't even see any pasta. I thought his chicken Parmesan and my spaghetti was very strong in the tomato sauce department maybe a little too much. I like mine to have other seasonings to balance the acidity from the tomato sauce. Overall it was not a bad meal, it was so much food I had enough for lunch the next morning. The free garlic bread came out hot and fresh, fluffy on the inside and flaky on the outside. The service is warm and welcoming & even the owner came by to check in on us. Will I come back? Yes.

And you can always count on a good meal backed by good service at a fair price. Our group of 8 went with various dishes. My wife and I shared a Greek Salad (I gladly gave her my anchovies) and spaghetti with turkey meatballs. Toss some grilled shrimp on that salad and I'd have been more than satisfied. But I've always wondered why Italian restaurants serve Greek salads. Do Greek restaurants serve antipasti? But I digress. The pasta was el dente and well drained. The turkey meatballs were large and flavorful. The marinara, to me, is a bit bland. I prefer more zing. Nothing some red pepper flakes couldn't fix. Some folks can't take the heat, so it makes sense for George's to play it safe. I also appreciated George's not applying fees to "plot" dishes. And if you like great garlic bread, George's is calling your name.

The food delivered is ok; nothing that will scream gourmet but the way they do their eggplant parmesan and the pork chop (the favorite entrees of my girlfriend and her mother) with mashed potatoes and broccoli sides somehow always have them ordering from here more than once. Personally, I always told them not to order me anything cause I had negative bias towards most chain places. Well my opinion changed one day on Christmas Eve as we were heading to Katy and looking for a place to have dinner before our lights event at the Katy Mills mall. Every restaurant we went to was closed; except for this one. And I figured since my girlfriend and her mother would love this place, might as well give it a shot. Now I'm on board the Carrabba's train. I give props to the hostess and service staff as this place operated like it was on steriods considering how many people popped in here (since it was one of the very few establishments open for dining on Christmas Eve). Service was very attentive as our server Jessica gave us some good wine recommendations and told us about the BOGO options for entrees (although tempting, we declined it since we had plenty of eats at home for the holidays). Caesar salads served had balanced amounts of dressing and parmesan. The complimentary bread has the olive oil and parm topping to dip in which kept us over while we waited for entrees. Being my first time here, I decided on the chicken trio with a side of penne w/ marinara. Pretty tasty dish as you get chicken breast three ways (marsala, tuscan, and some other one I can't remember). The penne is basic penne w/ tomato sauce that tasted like it was store-bought but the star of course is the chicken which is solid. My girlfriend got the eggplant parmesan (her go-to) while her mother decided on the salmon instead of the pork chop due to a dental issue. The salmon was tender and she enjoyed it. Chain restaurants are hit or miss; depends on the location and who's managing it. Looks like this one is managed well as we enjoyed our dining experience here and I'm proud I popped my Carrabba's cherry at this location.

Our party was seated outside on the covered patio, which has both fans and heaters, so it is clearly set up for any kind of weather. For the time of year we went, it was absolutely perfect. The lighting, decor, and music all worked together really well. There was live music at the bar that you could hear without it being too loud, and it just added to the overall atmosphere. We started with drinks and ordered a Maple Old Fashioned and a Lemon Drop. Both were made really well and were nicely balanced, not too strong and not overly sweet or overpowering. For appetizers, we went with the Pesto Bruschetta, and I highly recommend getting that when you visit. It was a great way to kick off the meal. For our mains, we ordered the Crema Beef Medallions with Scallops special and the Chicken Piccata. Everything was cooked perfectly. The sauces were rich and flavorful, the beef medallions were tender, and every bite honestly felt very thoughtfully prepared. Our server, Juan, took care of our party of eight and did an excellent job. He was attentive, friendly, and really helped make the whole experience feel special. For it being our first time at Lomonte's, we were extremely pleased with the entire dinner from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back plenty of times in the future.

Our group of 10 had dinner at Palazzo's Italian Restaurant this evening and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were seated in the wine room, which turned out to be the perfect space for our group. It felt comfortable and semi-private, making it easy for everyone to relax, talk, and enjoy the evening together. The service was impeccable. Manager Anthony Lascano was clearly on top of everything in the dining room and made sure guests were well taken care of throughout the evening. That level of attention really elevates the experience. Food highlights from our table: * Calamari - light, crispy, and great for sharing * Focaccia bread - warm and flavorful * Anastasia pizza - excellent and a favorite at the table * Meatball pizza - a bit different from years past but still very good * Frutti di mare - rich, flavorful, and satisfying For dessert, the kids were thrilled with their sundaes. We ended the evening with a cappuccino and two black coffees, which were the perfect finish to a great meal. Tip: If you're dining with a larger group, ask about seating in the wine room--it was ideal for our table of 10. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and consistently delicious food. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Palazzo's.

Instead of ordering an appetizer and an entree, my friend and I decided to order 3 things from the appetizer menu: Arancini Montanare Impepata Napoletana The arancini was delicious! The exterior/crust wasn't too thick and was fried nicely. As for the filling, it had cheese, beef, and tomato sauce- yum! I really enjoyed the montanare because it came with 3 different toppings. Not to mention, the bread was fantastic! All 3 were great but my favorite was the one with smoked provolone, anchovy, and the red chili on top (I believe that's what the red topping is). The Impepata Napoletana was another solid dish- loved the white wine sauce with garlic and pepper. Although it was a tad bit too salty for me, it paired nicely with the bread.
