We were seated promptly. Nice staff. Good salsa and chips. Margaritas were very good. We had the chicken soup and it was one of the best versions I've had. The desserts looked good but we didn't order any. Server was super friendly. read more

Great food, quick Passing through town we saw this place and decided to give it a try. We were seated quickly. Chips and salsa were quickly provided so we could review the menu while snacking. They had a great kids and lunch menu. I had the lunch version of chicken fajitas. That was more than filling. My husband had the taquitos with rice. The kids tried tacos and rice, quesadilla and hamburger with fries. All the food was filling and delicious. Best beans and rice! read more

Las Trancas - Mexican Near Me - Marietta, Ohio

I was in Marietta for business and stopped at Las Trancas on my night in town. The meal was great and I was served promptly. The restaurant is bigger inside than you can see from the outside with a variety of table sizes and booths too. Would recommend for a quick bite! Dress is casual and food comes quick so prepare to be full! read more

Horrible and unclean. They may no attempt to fix their unclean habits. Took a bite of rice and chipped a tooth. They didn't offer to compensate and have my tooth fixed. These are sisters read more

Dude! THIS PLACE.. AMAZING!! I just like to say thank you to the Waiter at Las Trancas, you was so kind and you always delivered in time. We gave you a ($10 - Tip) for a reason cause he deserved it. Now the food at Las Trancas was mind blowing. The chip and dip was always fresh and hot. The Chimichanga was AMAZING with the Chaso sauce I requested instead of the nacho cheese, exactly what I was hoping for. And the Fried Ice Cream INSAIN I highly recommend this place to anyone in love with Mexican food. read more

I feel like that for the majority of Marietta, you are either Team Las Trancas or Team Tampico; their competition. I have always preferred Tampicos. I've eaten here a couple of times just to ensure that I was on mark with my opinion. Location wise, I really feel that they are conveniently located. The restaurant is festive and always has music going; it's a great atmosphere and clean. Service has always been exceptional. If I was only rating this restaurant on the above, then it would be deserving of 5 stars. But what most of us want is great food. They do offer unlimited complimentary chips and salsa. Each time that I have ever visited, the salsa has been runny and much too spicy for my liking. I've tried the chicken chimichangas on each occasion and it has never offered the flavor that I was seeking. Seeing as how I have eaten at hundreds of Mexican restaurants though, I am a tough reviewer in the area of Mexican cuisine. Because I really want to like this restaurant, I may try them again at some point, but for now, I am saying that they are just okay. read more

Salsa is a little salty but still fine. The food is as good or better than that of similar places nearby, with reasonable prices. The real problem is service - there basically is none unless you chase people down, and most of them barely speak English. read more

Everything is good about it except they Shut down the old building I have a new one now by Kroger's

Ate dinner here 8/24/23 server was non attentive and showed negative attitude when two of our group only ordered water to drink. Had cheese dip appetizer that had chunks in and needed reheating. My hard tacos were dripping with grease therefore now soft tacos with no flavor. Have had better experiences here but not returning any time soon. read more

Loved this place. Best pork carnitas I have ever had. Definitely ask for the hot salsa with your chips. Has a nice Smokey flavor to it

Awesome meall with the kiddos . Quick service. And friendly staff. Very happy diner. We had fish tacos, tornados w/ all the fixing, and Texas fajitas. read more

Las Trancas - Linneriwith Ariel and Wyatt. Yummy!@lastrancas. - Mexican Near Me - Marietta, Ohio

We were on a road trip and decided to give it a shot. We ordered the green enchiladas with beef. Full A on the green sauce, it was pretty authentic. I would prefer them with chicken. We also got the beef and chorizo quesadillas. Chorizo was tasty, but not a big fan of shredded beef in my quesadillas. The place was packed... it looked like the fajitas were quite popular. read more

my daughter was eating her cheese quesadilla, as she took her first bite, a cockroach crawled out and began crawling on her face. We were in shock. How does that happen? The server did not even seem to care. read more

Always fast and friendly. Food is always delicious. Wish the salsa was more consistent in flavor.

The Las Trancas in Belpre, Ohio is the best! Clean, friendly and fast service! Love the food !

Fast and delicious especially for the price. You get plenty! Friendly staff. I did not have to wait. I was seated immediately. I will be back! read more

Visiting in town with family and stopped for dinner. Most of the food was excellent and the quantities were huge! Service was mixed - our waiter was very nice and funny but we had to keep asking for things - like menus, silverware, etc. I thought the salsa was a weak point - it was pretty tasteless - almost like water. And one member of the party's tortillas were burnt on the bottom. But everyone else food was excellent. read more

Great Mexican place! I've stopped in here a few times for dinner when I've been in town. I get the Texas fajitas. It includes steak, chicken, shrimp, onions/peppers and tomato. They are great. The chips and salsa are really good too. The service is fast. The employees are nice. The food is plentiful and relatively cheap. Big fan of this place. I'll be coming back. read more

I could eat Las Trancas every single day--no joke. The food is always great, the service is SO FAST and friendly (David is the bomb). Margaritas are *almost* too strong. My go-to meal is the chicken fajita burrito. read more

Worst enchiladas I have ever eaten my wife had shrimp with mushrooms not much better. There was just no flavor. There was not a person of the ethnic group that was on the sigh outside the restaurant and I see why. read more

Well, based on the reviews, thought I'd give them a shot while in Marietta, Ohio. It was a Friday night, so pretty crowded, but was seated in about 10 minutes. My wife and I made bad menu choices - should have stuck with sizzling Fajitas most were getting. I tried the 8oz Sirloin with vegetables and ground chorizo with sliced potatoes. The sirloin was actually top sirloin with extreme gristle. The vegetables were frozen from a bag, and partly grilled (some still frozen, some charred). The chorizo with potatoes was OK. The wife had Enchiladas Supremas, and it wasn't good either - the cheese enchilada was sweet - which is just weird. Simply put, will not be back. read more

So delicious!!! Probably the fastest I've ever consumed Mexican food, it was so good!! We travel from MI to NC every year and I can't believe we've never stopped here before. My parents raved over the carnitas. Said it was so tender and flavorful they couldn't even pick it up with their fork. Salsa has great flavor. Rice was so good!! I literally scraped my plate clean. Needless to say, this is now our go to pit stop for road trips to come! Service was incredible and Roxanna was so polite!!!! read more

I had the Burrito El Diablo and I cannot lie it was one of the best dishes I have ever had in a Mexican restaurant. The place is your typical Mexican Restaurant. Pretty strong margaritas too. read more

My food tasted like it came from the freezer and straight into the microwave. The ground beef had no seasoning and tasted especially freezer burnt. The only good part was that it was fast...but I'd rather wait longer for food that tastes better! The service was a little too good. The waiter came to check on us every 2 minutes or so. Leave us alone and let us eat in peace! read more

Good fajitas.. Well cooked and sizzling to your table. We went when it was busy so service was OK. We will go back when in town...

Las Trancas - Bean/cheese nachos - Mexican Near Me - Marietta, Ohio

Terrible, food was disgusting slimy and cold. If we wanted "fast Mexican food" that makes your stomach hurt immediately after eating it, we would have gone to Taco Bell. Rushing food and cutting corners and serving garbage doesn't equate to return customers. read more

Definitely worth getting off the Interstate. Try the lime margarita on Monday nights --wonderful brain freeze! And tasty appetizers under the side orders. The quesadilla was just the right amount with a side of guacamole. My partner loved the chile relleno with a side of rice. Been coming here every Monday for the last few weeks, service has always been good. Tonight 5/31/2021 was rather disappointing however, there is always four of us. Queso that was ordered never got brought to the table, waitress took one of our drinks and didn't bring it back until 10+ minutes had passed, 2 of our orders were wrong and the waitress disappeared after bringing our food so we couldn't even find her to say that our orders were wrong until she came to bring us the check. Love this restaurant hope its better next time. read more

Fantastic place for lunch in Marietta. We almost stumbled upon it (our first choice was nearby and crazy full!), but are glad that we did. Really great Mexican food. I had the strawberry frozen margarita and the chicken chimichanga and they both were so fabulous. A buddy had the carnitas and he loved them.
