Always a solid spot to eat even with a big group. We came here on a Sunday evening when they were quite busy. They were still able to accommodate our large group and got us our food quickly. I always tend to get a beef tip chimichanga when I'm doing a Mexican spot in WV. This one hit all the right notes as well as the queso! For whatever reason we can't seem to get the same type of queso in CO where we live. read more

My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times in the past and it has been pretty good. However, our experience yesterday afternoon was pretty bad. My food was unremarkable, but he had ordered a rib eye steak (I forget the actual menu name) as MEDIUM WELL. It was served as MEDIUM RARE which was completely inedible for him. Not only that, but the server did not bring the tortillas that were part of the meal. He ate the small portions of beans and rice and the peppers and onions that were on top the steak but this was not a meal. We spent almost $40 and ended up going to Burger King after we left there! Not acceptable at all. read more

Today, Noel, Saige and I went to Las Trancas for lunch after Baby Doc checkup! Saige had never been to this location and learned Noel hadn't either. Noel went with Mt Dew a small bowl of cheese sauce and a lunch portion of Vaca Loco...I call it Vaca Laca...but again I'm horrible with words Saige was happy to see they offered Cheese Pizza on kids menu and went with Grape flavored Juice...but was disappointed with the hard microwaved crust and half melted cheese...saving grace was her own bowl of salsa and chips. I chose a Pepsi cold and tall with some chips and salsa and lunch chicken fajitas. I took my left overs home to Tony for his lunch that evening at work. The food overall was good, definitely recommend and definitely going back!!! read more

We go here frequently and the food and service is always good. The patio is nice and the fountain makes it feel like you're somewhere else.

I came here during Thanksgiving week when I was visiting family in town. This visit was my first visit here. I got the Carnitas with flour tortillas. The Carnitas were crispy and full of rich flavors. I have a hard time finding carnitas cooked this way but these by far were my favorite I've had at any Mexican restaurant I've been to in the last few years. Cheers to a great meal here! read more

The last time we went was the last time for us....They brought the wrong order and the waitress laughed when we told her about it didn't fix it or even offer too... I told management and they didn't even apologize! read more

We almost left after waiting more than 30 minutes to even get water. Waiter took our order finally, and we have never waited so long for food. Ordered burrito grande, waiter brought burrito supreme...similar-but spouse wanted the guacamole on the side. So, of course he charged additional for it...which was wrong but he couldn't even bring the correct dish. I ordered the pollo loco, my food has very few veggies, zero squash and a bunch of tomatoes. Spouse ordered a Long Island ice tea...former bartender here-a Long Island tea is 5 shots of liquor (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and triple sec with sour mix and a splash of coke). I watched our waiter make this cocktail, and he never did a full shot of anything. This chain is my favorite, and we always get piping hot food fast...the wait this time was unbelievable, and then to have it wrong or not right-not good. We ate it, but maybe in hind sight we just should have walked out when he brought the wrong food. We were tired of waiting and we were hungry. I did tell the cashier, and when she started stating that he's usually very good- I just stopped talking. She offered a discount, but I refused. We did eat the food only because we had already waited an hour...and I told her we would eat at the Belpre or Marietta Ohio locations again but would never come back there. I suggested to the cashier that servers should actually write orders down. Never in the history of eating there have I seen a server write anything down. I would also suggest they hire an actual bartender who knows how to mix cocktails. read more

I do want to state I'm from California, Hispanic and go to Mexico often, so I know what good Mexican food is! So when we chose this place in West Virginia, I wasn't expecting much... boy was I surprised! I had the Fajita Quesadilla with beans (instead of rice) and was pleasantly impressed. The service was excellent, my boyfriend mentioned it was my birthday (casually) and at the end of our dinner, all the waiters sang me Happy Birthday and gave me their fried ice cream. At first I thought, I'm just going to take a bite (I was so full from dinner) but I took one bite and couldn't stop! It was the best fried ice cream I've ever had. I loved the decor and ambiance definitely gives you a Mexico vibe. read more

Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the MOV! Always a nice and clean environment with excellent food and drink! The employees are very friendly and take care of your needs. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing chips salsa and guacamole. I love chips w little to no salt. The mango and strawberry frozen margarita was sooooo smooth and creamy. It really hit the spot. I had a vegetarian chimichonga. Squash, papers, onions, Broccoli, onions, wrapped and flash fried w a cream sause drizzle. Only thing better was the kind servers. They were phenomenal. read more

Really, 4.5 stars. This is a great place. One thing of note is its excellent accessibility, including the bathrooms and the patio dining area (yes, covered outdoor tables). The chicken soup (my wife ordered this on both visits here) is very tasty and it has some generous pieces of avocado in it. I have had the Carne asada. The meat was tender and well-spiced. On the second visit I had a carne asada quesadilla, which overflowed with toothsome chunks of beef and which had a nice touch of cheese. The margheritas have a nice agreeable strength. Both the on-the-rocks and frozen interpretations are good. Nice bite and good tartness. This is a great roadside find. read more

We had a nice lunch today. I had the fajita type meal in a pineapple and it was really tasty. It came out piping hot with soft shells, rice and salad. My husband had fish tacos and even though they did not come as pictured he said they were really good. The service friendly and prompt. Drink refills were provided. read more

I order takeout from here frequently and it's always on point. Dining in is even better. There's not many places where I've found consistently good food. This one definitely stands out. Service is fast & polite. The restaurant is gorgeous. read more

Good food, fast friendly service. Very clean restaurant. We were seated quick and the waiter was fast and helpful.

Very nice looking place with really nice decor and clean inside, however that's about it. The food wasn't good at all in our opinion. It was just ok. Even the chips and salsa weren't great. This was an ok place for a first time visit if you're really hungry. read more

Very good food. Very good service. Nice variety of appetizers and main courses. Nice decor, plenty of room between tables so you don't feel crowded. read more

This was a beautiful restaurant! The service was wonderful and it was nice and clean. The food wasn't bad, I wish they used fresh mushrooms, not canned. I ordered a thin cut t-bone steak with mushrooms and rice. It was yummy, but would've been better with fresh mushrooms for sure. I ordered a grilled cheese for my son since he's a picky eater. It was kinda okay. The cheese wasn't melted but he enjoyed it. Salsa was so good! Our waitress was awesome. For dessert we got the churros and they were absolutely delicious! read more

Great/Quick service.. Food has been pretty wonderful through the Pandemic. I can tell they are understaffed like everyone else... but they seem to be able to keep up I would recommend this wonderful Restaurant to anyone! read more

We were skeptical reading the reviews but the bad ones must have the wrong restaurant! Food was excellent, portions were huge and service was good. If we are ever in the area again, we will be back for sure! read more

Excellent service from Siann. Service was very fast and she kept checking to see whether everything was ok. The good was good also. I would come back. read more

Came here because it looked empty. Hostess packed the few people that were here all into one corner of the restaurant. Tables so close we couldn't even fit. Salsa and chips free but salsa is very different. Queso is good though (small bowl). Pricing is a little bit higher than Gran Azteca. I would recommend gran Azteca over this place. Kids menu yes. Tortillas don't taste home made. Food came fast. read more

Fresh food and amazing service! Very clean and inviting. Has a different feel than most restaurants. 10/10 will be back!

I've been here three times over the course of six months and each time my service was honestly really bad but today takes the cake. I ordered a taco salad and they told me they don't sell black beans Which is fine I got refried beans, the problem was there was hair in my food. Black hair, it really grossed me out. My husband got a burrito Which he did actually enjoy tho after seeing the hair in my food we couldn't eat anymore. They weren't really that busy today either. The last two times were similar in service the customer service was good the last time but this time it was not so good. Really disappointed and probably won't be back read more

I'm gonna give them 2 stars because the first 3 times I ate here it was amazing. 6 months from then I come in and the food is either cold or burnt. The manager offered no apologies or alternative solutions. He just asked if it was one check or two. We have an abundance of Mexican food in this area so I'll probably stick with El Mariachi or one of the other 9 Mexican restaurants. read more

Delicious meal, fantastic service, great atmosphere! I'm always so glad to find yummy Mexican food (I'm usually disappointed, even in places with good reviews, so this place was a pleasant surprise). Very clean, nicely appointed, very busy on a Friday night but no wait and our food was served quickly. My husband had the fajitas served in a half pineapple - it was great! read more

Beautiful place, friendly staff, great service and delicious food ‼I have eaten here on four separate occasions and they have never disappointed me. Awesome place to eat ! Super nice servers and hostesses. Great food and great service. Beautiful place both inside and out

It's the 2nd time my family has ordered take out from here. The first time I thought it was an accident that the red sauce tasted like cinnamon.... nope it's no accident that put cinnamon on the red sauce. Our dinner for 2 adult 2 kids was 58.00. I didn't even eat mine it was so gross. My husband ordered chips and salsa. Chips were good but the salsa was so hot none of us would eat it. My husband ordered a chicken meal but received beef. It was all a mess. Pretty bad that I'm making a peanut butter sandwich after we just spent 58.00 on food!!!! read more

Excellent food great Mexican beer and very nice new restaurant. Lots of food and free nachos and salsa

I ordered my food to go 1 meal for me and 1 for my wife. I go to pick it up they had 1 for my wife and 2 for me. The lady who took the order wanted to argue with me and tell me I was wrong on what I ordered. So I paid for the extra food that is going on the trash. I get back with the food to find that half my wife's meal is missing. I will never go back and will always recommend to people to go somewhere else. read more
