Went in while the car glass pass next door worked on my truck, ordered the quesabirria. the food got there fast and hot, the waitress was very sweet and one of the best quesabirrias I've ever had.

The food and service is always good!!! The seafood caldo with some lime and avocado hits every time!

I had one beer and they kicked me out. Honestly it's ridiculous and kind of embarrassing

One of my favorite places. Always great vibes best customer service. Not only is food delicious but drinks are too my favorite "Paloma." Bartenders are friendly and make you feel like you're with family.

I had not been here in a while but this visit was very good. My dinner was excellent. I had a combination of Chile relleno and chicken enchilada and a house margarita. The service was great. I enjoyed it all.

Wet burrito with salsa verde and michelada

Las Palmitas is my go to for Mexican food in Vallejo! The environment is friendly and inviting. Service can be a little slow sometimes but the food is worth it, so I'm patient. I always go for the wet burrito, it's huge and so delicious. I get mine with salsa verde, camarõn y asada. We also ordered the quesabirria tonight and I swear it's probably the best I've ever had. They were perfectly cheesy and meaty, served alongside a nice big bowl of consommé. Honorable mention for their micheladas! They come in a huge heavy mug and are the perfect accompaniment for a delicious meal.

Lunch Special - 2 Enchiladas, Piña Colada

Tried this place with my coworkers per their recommendation, and I enjoyed it! The food and service were great. I got a lunch special item with 2 enchiladas + sides along with a piña colada, and it hit the spot. The meal was filling and I even had leftovers for later. The piña colada was refreshing especially in the warm weather. The owner is super nice too. We conversed with him for a bit and learned that he unfortunately had to discontinue the food truck because it was too much to manage both the truck and the restaurant, so if you or anyone want to buy the food truck, hit him up!

The fries was just stuck on the fries

The food was not good, this is my first time trying it and it was horrible I hated it they gave me old fries and the cheese and fries was literally stuck on the plate. The service was not even that good and it was not for me or my family. I would not recommend any one to come here or even try to eat here.

(1) Chile Relleno and (2) Enchiladas plate [half red/half green sauce]

Had a really great meal here. Delicious food with nice big portion. The margarita and michelada were delicious as well. Great service. Very nice outdoor patio that gets good sun. If I could change one thing it would be that I wish their chips were homemade/fresh chips and not the pre-made type. But other than that I highly recommend this place!!

I ordered their Chicken Nacho Fries and Carne Asada Fries, both topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and green onion. I also opted to add guacamole for an additional fee--and it was definitely worth it! The ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and I'm always left feeling satisfied after eating here. The customer service is another highlight; the staff are always friendly and accommodating, which makes the overall experience even better. It definitely makes me want to come back and try more of their menu!

Over the years, I've watched this place go through a few upgrades. One of the biggest changes is the menu that used to be painted on the wall is now displayed on digital display. It looks pretty cool, although I do miss the old painted menu because it was part of what I remembered about this place. But with prices changing over the years, I can definitely understand why going digital makes more sense than having to repaint the wall every time something changes. Prices have gone up over the years too, but that's understandable. One thing that hasn't changed is the service. The staff has always been nice, welcoming, and hospitable. I've never had any problems with the customer service here. This time I ordered a super burrito and two street tacos. Taco Jalisco has always had some of my favorite carne asada. The steak is flavorful and honestly some of the best carne asada I've had in a Mexican dish. The street tacos were simple and good. Carne Asada and chicken with , cilantro, onions, and their hot sauce on top. And I have to mention their hot sauce! It has been one of my favorite things about Taco Jalisco for years. It adds so much flavor without taking away from the food. The super burrito was good too, although it was on the smaller side compared to super burritos I've gotten at other places. Still, the flavor was there. The seasoned steak, rice, and house sauce all blend together really well. Their rice especially seems to soak up some of that sauce, and when you get everything together in one bite, it makes for a really flavorful burrito. After 20 years, Taco Jalisco is still one of my favorite places in Vallejo to grab a burrito and some tacos. I wouldn't necessarily call it the best anymore, especially with so many other good Mexican spots around Vallejo now, but it will always be one of my favorites and a place I'll continue coming back to.

My favorite was their chicken tinga, which reminded me of the chicken burritos I used to get back in my hometown across the bridge. I immediately told myself I'd have to come back and order a chicken tinga burrito. A few weeks later, I finally returned on a Sunday while they were serving their World Cup Sunday brunch. I ordered a chicken tinga super burrito and a California burrito to take home. I was really excited to dig in, but when I opened the bag, the "super" burrito looked more like a regular burrito. The flavors were still great, but the filling was disappointing. There was barely any chicken or sour cream, and I had to eat more than halfway through before I finally got a decent balance of meat, rice, and beans. I even had to add my own sour cream because there was so little inside. As for the California burrito, it was just okay. The fries were stale, and there wasn't enough sour cream or guacamole, which made the burrito pretty dry. It honestly reminded me more of a breakfast burrito than a California burrito, and I wasn't a fan. Overall, the flavors are definitely there, and it's clear the food has potential. However, the portions felt skimpy for the price, making the burritos feel overpriced. I'll give Sol y Sazon another chance because I know they're capable of making delicious food, but if my next experience is like this one, they'll likely lose me as a customer.

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. The food is very, very good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions you get are worth it. It's kind of hard to miss when driving by, but they also have a small sign near the street letting you know they're there. I had known about this taco truck for years but never stopped until last year, and now I wish I had gone sooner. I ordered a super burrito and a few tacos. One thing I really like is that they actually list the length of their burritos on the menu. That's a nice touch because sometimes you order a "super burrito" somewhere else and end up with something small. Here, you know exactly what you're getting. Out of all the taco trucks in Vallejo, this is easily one of my top three burrito trucks. I try not to burn myself out eating at the same place too often, so I like switching between favorites, and this is definitely one I keep coming back to. I almost always get the steak burrito. One thing I really love is the pico de gallo they use. They use red onions, which gives it a nice touch, and every time I get it, I can really taste the cilantro in the pico de gallo throughout the burrito. The steak and chicken street tacos were also really good but the burrito is always my favorite! Parking is never an issue because they share a parking lot with an auto body shop during off-hours, so there's usually plenty of space. They also have cones to help guide cars entering and exiting the lot. When your food is ready, they call your order number over the microphone/intercom system, then ask if you want red or green sauce and chips. Overall, I've always had a great experience here. If you're in Vallejo and looking for a good taco truck, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
