I work nearby on the weekends...this place is literally walking distance. I had gone before, and was disappointed...and i went back, and my disappointment was reconfirmed. i got their burger combo...nothing wrong at all with the food...but...but...but...i stood at the front to order for a long time...no one said JUST A MINUTE...or...WE'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU..the cook looked over his shoulders, kinda said FUCK IT, and went back to cooking...eventually a completely emotionless girl came to the front and took my order to go for a burger combo. I was really excited to find out there was a Las Palmitas Fruit in bell given I always shop at the one in Downey and everything is always so good and fresh I assumed this one would be the same. First impression - place was dirty and as I waited for my order 2 customers complained about their phone order being incorrect. When I received my esquite it tasted like the corn had been frozen along with other vegetables or the same knife they used to cut onion was somehow used in the making of my esquite because that's all I could taste. I came here ordered our food it took over 20 minutes to get our food and when we got it, only half our order was ready. So we didn't even eat together. Top it off there was a hair in my food. So I went to tell them they said they will make me another one it's now been over 15 I'm waiting for my new burrito hopefully without any extra toppings. I do not like giving negative reviews, but this place needs to know that their customer service is terrible!!! I walked in for the first time and there was no line, I saw the workers behind the counter and made eye contact, but no one acknowledged me. I had no idea where I was suppose to order. A line started forming behind me, so I guess I was standing in the right place? I young girl behind the counter kept looking at the line not saying anything . I only come here for the esquites and tonight (3/30 @8:30pm) is the last time I'm returning. I ask for no juice/caldo in my esquite and it's usually a hit or miss but it's not really a big deal (although its annoying and messy) because I just tip the cup over and it drips out. Tonight i tried doing that but it was so thick that only a bit of the juice dripped so i thought it was ready. When i mixed it the end result was a thick pink soup. It grossed me out but I still went ahead and gave it a try since i know some people eat it like that but it was too sour to eat. I'm not sure if it was spoiled or what but I had to throw it away. I'm so bummed about it because I couldn't catch the elotero so we drove 20mins to get here for my fix but I was met with a cup of disappointment instead. The lady helping us was a little friendly but they lack customer service, it seems like they're not well coordinated.
