I hardly leave bad reviews. Little did I ever thought of leaving a negative review to which has been my favorite food restaurant of all times. Lately they been messing up my orders, but this one took the PRICE. I ordered two asada tacos, and the tortillas were entirely cold, or room temperature, which means that they weren't even heated up not even one bit. The pico de gallo that they put on the tacos was rancid too. Or already too old I guess. The bagging sucked too, because my order was just tossed in inside the bag (like whatever). which made the tacos leak and ripped the bag. I myself am a cashier and waitress and I know how important it is to properly bag-up an order for the client. *** This made me so upset because I also took in consideration that they weren't even as busy as usual*** I did called to notify the staff about my order and the person that I spoke to was polite and even offered me to re-do my order but I was already omw to run my errands. The purpose of this review is to help improve this kind of issues. (Not to cause any problems to anyone working in there) I won't be coming here for while and hopefully I can come back again to update my review with a better one in the near future. Aw man what happened????????????? I've been going to Bobos for years. Back when I used to live in south central. Then my mom moved to South Gate so I would visit this location all the time! This was my favorite spot. I gave them a good 5 star review before. Idk what happened to it. Maybe it got removed? Anyway, like I said, my mom used to live around the corner. Been coming here for over 20 years. Seriously! On this last visit, we got the usual: burgers, fries, drinks and chili cheese fries. It was my kids and I. None of us finished our food completely. At the end, my kids said they don't want to come back. Me too. Idk what happened. My burger was dry, fries were old and cold. They weren't seasoned as before. I really hate to leave this review. I have lived in the City of Lynwood for about 30yrs+ along with my oldest (now 34yrs old) who is a special needs person who has very obvious issues: (Bi-polar, Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia & Severe ADHD). Over those years only a few concerns arose with Bobo's Burgers on Imperial & California. Over all always great until our last 3 visits including today. - About a month ago I took my son thru drive thru for a Chicken dinner. All was good until we got hope and as he opened the container, he saw 4 small pieces of chicken the size of Quails (Godornises). My son just ate it but unfair for paying for $13 - $14 dollars. - A week ago, more or less we went again thru drive and for a Chicken dinner once again. My son mentioned the portion issue from a month ago and asked for proper size portions. The young lady stayed quiet and said nothing. The cook with headset (who has been there for years) jumped on to the speaker and said in Spanish," That is what you get, a leg, thigh & breast". I drove up to window after finishing placing the order and the young lady changed her attitude because my son asked to cancel the chicken dinner. She said we couldn't, and we needed to pay for it as that is what the cook with the headset told her to say. she made personal comments uncalled for. The young lady chose to not look at us when we were speaking and kept ignoring us and would speak from inside with window half open facing the window in front of her as I tried speaking to her. She just kept rolling her eyeballs and ignored me. I came inside and spoke with XXXX Person in charge/Owner about the situation. she approached the counter smirking standing next to the owner. I asked him to please have her to step away. First, he said she is doing nothing wrong, then after my insistence he several times but she would do so a foot at a time. The whole time she was in the background smirking and laughing. That should tell you why she has that condescending attitude. - Today we went again and for his chicken dinner but this time we ate their. The young lady locked in on us from driver thru. She started to make her way the front counter, but another young lady stepped and took our order. Upon other customers walking in she jumped quick to the second register to attend to them and started with intimidating stare downs of us, but we ignored her as I recognized the cashier helping us whom has been there for years and being the only one still there. As I complimented her professionalism the young lady with attitude suddenly stopped helping the customer, turned facing us and just stared at me. Again, I ignored it her and eventually she waived her hands, did her chicken neck twist and left us alone. What bothered me the most is when my son was intentionally ignored when he approached the counter over others and when he saw the chicken dinner with 2 of the pieces once again super small and he voiced to the cook with the headset who gave him his tray responded the same thing! as the previous week. My son was upset but walked away. I ended up speaking with TOM who is not only shift supervisor but also nephew of the owner. He said he would bring this up to Upper Management. I've never been to a BoBo burgers But I have seen it a million times.. I regret not stopping here sooner! I ordered 2 Chicken tacos and while it may seem a bit expensive at $8 it was all worth it! The tacos were a generous size and had plenty of meat and condiments. The salsa and Pico di gallo were fresh and spicy just the way that I liked it! .. I ended up getting everything on my taco..all the condiments. I Pulled over to eat after I got my order and it was fabulous! I definitely live about 30 minutes away from this location however I would drive here just to get some of their tacos! When taking my order through the drive through the customer service was very friendly and fast With no complaints. The cashier at the window Confirmed my order not once but twice which I appreciated. Next time im the area I will definitely stop by 2 get some tacos on my way home. The only thing I wish they had was a Bed so I could take a nap after eating this delicious meal LOL If you were in the area check this place out! Been coming to Bobos for years! They make quality food and are always friendly at the drive thru and inside their restaurant. Their classic burger and fries are great. Also, their breakfast options are yummy too! They have a great breakfast sandwich that is nice and hardy, filled with veggies and meat and cheese. Also I had their veggie omelette and it was great with an English muffin on the side. And for a healthy option their grilled chicken salad is amazing and huge! You may need to find someone to share it with or save some of the yummy chicken they give you for tacos in the evening. read more

Good food ruined by terrible customer service. I Asked for a tuna melt with no cheese (yes I understand that traditionally it comes with cheese, but I like the sandwich grilled w/o cheese.) I guess this request was too complicated. When I got home the sandwich was smothered in cheese. So I brought it back. When presented to the associate behind the counter, she said "but a tuna melt comes with cheese." (Along with an attitude I might add.) I told her I know but I asked for it without cheese, she then responds "so you want a tuna sandwich." It went back and forth like this a few times, because it wasn't clicking in her head that the melt could've been made even with omitting one ingredient. I eventually was like sure whatever give me a tuna sandwich. I mean maybe by asking for no cheese I was asking for too much. Regardless her attitude didn't help the situation. The fries are insanely tasty, especially when they Igor and seasoned. The pastrami is nice and moist, flavorful and fatty which you want in that kind of meat. She charged me over 43$ and tries to walk away like nothing. They are too used to stealing from peoples cards the chef is the main one having the cashiers doing the dirty work! Oh Bobos, how are your portions so ginormous for the price. This is where I go when I am hungry. The food never disappoints and the portions are so plentiful I find myself getting a box and eating it long after lunch is over. Bobo's happens to be near where I work so when my co worker and I have a large appetite, we would come here and chow down on some super fries or one of their combos. The chicken they prepare is nicely seasoned, and pretty tasty. As for the super fries: Asada and add Chili (well worth the extra .69 cents) please. The main reason for the 2 stars is that they say a .50$ fee is charged if you use a credit card for purchase in any order under 15$. While us would normally be acceptable, when I asked if I had to have exact change when paying in cash, the replied I did. So I have cash to pay with, but it's the restaurant that is making this policy of exact change. I shouldn't be charged for using the credit card to pay when I actually did have cash. read more
