Closest burrito I've had to an Anna's burrito because the food is very fresh. The menu is awesome too and has a lot more options than most burrito chains. Much better than Chipotle and Qdoba, but not as good as Anna's. Both the Exeter and Hampton locations are really good. I thought it was cool that they offer to put lime on as an option too, which most places I've been too don't. read more

This is GREAT fast food. Healthful. And considering the long lines, as fast as can be expected. I guess the popularity of this place is the only drawback because at peak hours, the lines are indeed long. My favorites: the black bean taco with sweet potato fries. the portobella mushroom taco and anything with shrimp. Also a very easy place to bring the kids. Their kids meals are yummy and cheap! As good as it gets. Sure you can go to Chipotle, Margaritas, or any other the other mexican places in the area, but Las Olas is on another level. Food is unbelievably fresh and you can taste it. Lines get long at peak hours and parking isn't great, but the food is worth the wait. Try it out when you're in Exeter and you won't regret it. read more

Could not be more disappointed with this place!! I USED TO LOVE the place in Exeter. BUT now it's changed and if you like being treated well, don't go to this place. If you have a food allergy or restriction, don't bother telling their wait staff or the people making your plate; they don't care. In fact, most of their staff are kids and ignorant as to what a food allergy is. Well, at least that's the attitude that I got when I told them that I was allergic to gluten. After I watched the girl making the burritos put her hands into the container of rice over and over again with dirty gloves that she hadn't changed once (which is gross in itself) , I told her I was allergic to wheat and asked her if she had another container of rice. She said " No that's all we have". And when I told her she put her hands in it and contaminated it with wheat (and whatever else), she basically was nasty to me and said well I can put on clean gloves and that should be fine. Ummm what? No, that is not fine to someone who is allergic. Can I talk to the owner? Because making or having an uncontaminated container of rice shouldnt be that hard. Well in fact, it was for them. They couldn't do it. Or didnt want to. Even the manager, who claimed she had a wheat allergy said the rice SHOULD BE FINE. Wait-WHAT??? I doubt she has an allergy, especially if she thinks that's ok ! I am honestly so upset, I'm thinking of calling the boatd of health. BAD BAD experience and terrible staff. read more

i just decided to check this place out...and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. First, I am not quite sure why people are saying this place is overpriced...it seems very comparable to other Mexican places like Chipotle. Second, I thought everything was fresh and tasty! I really like the atmosphere! The employees behind the counter we're somewhat dry and quiet, but still pleasant. Overall, I think this little restaurant is a great place! This is an excellent value for the freshness of their ingredients, the fast service and the generally delicious taste. I have been going to Las Olas once a week on average since they opened and intend to do that. Stopped in here because I had driven by it about 1000 times , was hungry, and actually had some spending money! I was a little confused by the menu but I think it was because it wasmy first time. Basically, you chose what you want and they make the burrito in front of you. I ordered the salchicha (sausage) and it was huge, probably the size of my size 13 shoe! Definitely enough for two meals. Also got a side of black beans and rice. Very tasty and filling. Service was prompt and pleasant, can't remember how much I paid, a good sign for me! It means that I got my money's worth. Definitely will go back. They have other locations but the Exeter cafe is the only one I've been to.¡Bueno apetito! read more

Disappointed that on three occasions in the past year, my family visited Las Olas and used a coupon from the Community flier (buy one, get one 1/2 off). Each time, we bought several adult meals (over $10 each) and one kids' meal. And each time, half of the kids' meal was taken off. If someone buys more than one adult meal, I think that half of the adult meal should be taken off. It is just a disappointment. Also, the line is often to the door, and the line moves very slow. The setup of the restaurant should accommodate a longer assembly line and more people helping at the very front of the assembly line. When I have to order four or five meals for takeout on a Friday night, it is a huge headache. I usually have a very long wait, and I always feel bad for the people in back of me. Please consider offering a kids' meal with some meat in it. On my visit this weekend, the person first put my meal on a eat-in plate rather than in a takeout box (without asking). I told him about it, and he scraped the food into a takeout box. I was left with a tiny dollop of beans, because most of it stuck to the eat-in plate he threw out. Was really disappointed about that, but didn't ask for more beans. I should have. This place is just ok. Too many negatives for me to go back on a regular basis. The coupon thing is the biggest disappointment. read more

Not much for ambience, but you go to Las Olas to eat, not dine. Their burritos are always generously-filled, and the seasoning of the yellow rice is a great compliment. I don't know why they charge so much for a side of guacamole...it isn't a large dollop and doesn't cost them much to make. read more

The parking lot is absolutely disgusting, they seem to keep up with it somewhat in the summertime but there was trash all along all of their fences. Also, I overheard one of the workers yelling at a woman outside out back and looked to see that she was just walking her dog..she had a bag and everything. The food was fine, but my table was dirty. As far as best tacos in town, this is the place! Well known locally and at Phillips exeter for being the greatest burrito maker of all time, this restaurant has authentic Mexican vibes and spicy salsas. I especially enjoy it because of the whole choose your own tacos thing, which is like bolocos taco bar thing but better. However if you really want to go I suggest an early afternoon or weekday because the line can extend into the parking lot sometimes! read more

Good service and a decent chipotle establishment by New England standards. Right down the street from Margaritas. If your intent is to enjoy Mexican, there is no reason not to bypass Margaritas and take in Las Olas. It is a semi-fast food joint, but more upscale and comfy than some hole-in-the-wall like Loco Coco's in Kittery (which is not intended as a slam, as I have reviewed Loco Coco's and it hands down the best Mexican in the region). Passable Mexican food is like finding a needle in a haystack in New England, and again while it is more of the chipotle variety, the food is decent here and you can pick your ingredients and add your own hot sauces. The sauces are hot here (at least by New England standards) and I don't know why some one said that there is no selection. yes there certainly is- but you have to turn from the register and look behind you to the right- there is a table with various temperatures of red and green chile sauces. read more

i dunno what the bad reviews are all about... i think this place is pretty tasty! my only complaint is that sometimes the line is out the door (which tells me a lot of people love this place!)... but it moves pretty fast. the food is excellent...and super fresh. they have lots of salsa options that are seriously amazing! i would def. recommend. read more
