delicioussssss!! I came to get drinks with my boyfriend and cousins and it did not disappoint. The music was good, food was delicious and the service was fantastic! The owners were there and treated us very well. JP made the best aguachiles ever. I don't like raw shrimp too much but these were worth every penny. The empanadas are to die for as well!! I didn't take a picture because I devoured them in a second. Def coming back. They have Banda on Friday and Sunday and norteño on Saturday and Thursday. Great place for your family!

RAW SHRIMP @ 4:25pm Did not want to eat raw shrimp

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! BAD SERVICE! PLEASE READ TERRIBLE MANAGER AND WAITRESS Came with my family for family time and the Waitress ANGELICA from the start gave us attitude when taking our order. I ordered Ceviche Poca Madre with no octopus and once they brought me the food the shrimp was straight up raw. I DID NOT WANT TO EAT RAW SHRIMP. Before letting the waitress know that it was raw I checked the menu MYSELF to make sure I had read that the shrimp was cooked and in fact I was correct menu said shrimp is cooked/"boiled". Told the waitress Angelica that if it was the right plate because I did not want to eat raw shrimp, she gave me attitude and said "it is what it is " that it came that way and she can't do anything about it that it came raw and I never said I wanted it cooked. I EXPLAINED & SHOWED HER the menu says that the shrimp is cooked that's why I ordered it and let her know that she didn't ask if I wanted it cooked either way, again she gave me attitude and said well this is the plate basically telling me to take it/eat it. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager and she said he was busy that she'll let him know. She came back and said he will not change it because shrimp comes raw, I told her I did not get what I ordered and was not okay with the attitude she was giving me. She told the manager and I waited for 40min (family was almost done eating) and when I told her again and again she got annoyed and just said "manager said to just change it" KEEP IN MIND IT TOOK 40min for them to ask me to reorder the plate but "cooked" and the MANAGER never came. It took more than 30min more to get my order by that time my family was done eating. A man brought my order and said NOTHING and walked away. I did not touch the food and looked around for the manager, the same man walked in front of our table and I had to raise my voice to get his attention and asked "ARE YOU THE Manager?" He said YES. KEEP IN MIND THIS MAN BROUGHT MY FOOD DID NOT SAY A WORD OR APOLOGIZE FOR THE WAIT OR ANYTHING My family and I explained and let him know of everything and about Angelica and he did not want to accept that the menu said cooked and that I waited for so long to have a word about the service while we literally saw him walking around avoiding us. He and Angelica never apologized for the wait or for the bad service given to us. We were over it and asked for the check, he said he was never going to charge us for the plate and when Angelica came back with the receipt we were still being charged for the plate POCA MADRE. We do not mind paying, it was never about that! The fact that they were so rude and were not professional at all ruined our family time. NEVER AGAIN WORST SERVICE EVER.

HORRIFIED. I met my family here on Saturday, October 23 at 2pm to celebrate my nieces 27th birthday. Our group of 9 consisted of 7 adults and two young girls (10 & 11). Of the group, the two young girls and two of the adults did not speak Spanish. When we arrived, I was immediately overwhelmed by the LOUDNESS of the music. After being seated I was overpowered by the HEAT! Absolutely no air. We sat for a good 20 minutes before the waitress came to take our drink order. 20 minutes after our drink order was taken another waitress delivered 2 of the 9 beverages we ordered. Another 10 minutes passed and then 4 more beverages were served. The remaining 3 beverages were not served until we had been there almost an hour! Our food order was taken and much like the drinks, the food order trickled in one or two plates at a time. I was peeved that 7 plates were on the table and that I had to REPEATEDLY ask the waitress to follow up on the 2 remaining dishes. The waitress was rude, unapologetic, and frankly abrasive when I asked her a second and third time where the remaining dishes were. Luckily, a management type employee happened to stop by the table to ask how we were enjoying our meal when I EXPLODED and explained that 7 of the guests at the table were almost done with their meal and 2 guests had yet to receive the ceviche tostada and tacos that were ordered. Seriously, how difficult is it to serve a scoop of prepared ceviche on to a tostada? About 5 minutes after talking to the management guy, our two final dishes showed up. As if we weren't already living a nightmare of a dining experience, the "entertainment" show started. The entertainment was a cross-dressing, lip-syncing act... no problem with that. The problem we had was when the entertainment started speaking vulgarities. The entertainer asked that all the ladies celebrating a birthday raise their hands... then said over the microphone... "raise your hand and OPEN YOUR LEGS ladies to get the biggest birthday present ever". A while later the entertainer asked all the men to raise their beer and "suck it down... that straight men that suck down enough beer are open to suck more than just beer". The entertainer continued to lip-sync and curse throughout the "show". We are a traditional hispanic family. We don't curse, and we don't speak using vulgar overtones of any kind. We were insulted and embarrassed to be put through this experience. We were glad that two of our adult guests and two children didn't understand Spanish and were spared the verbal insults. The rest of us took one look at each other and knew we needed to get out ASAP. Some of us didn't finish our drinks or food given they were served so late. I was a guest at this gathering and the family members who organized the celebration were embarrassed and apologetic for our experience. After coming home I looked up the reviews on Yelp and found many similar reviews. Bad food, bad service, ridiculously LOUD music, and overall, not a family environment. I did also notice a few five-star reviews.... I've been yelping long enough to guess that they are probably fictitious as most of the reviewers had no other friends... some no other reviews... and many had no pictures. In summary, this was probably the single worst dining experience that I can recall and hope that my honest review will save other families from the terrible situation me and my family experienced.

Angel was turned around, I said hello and he turned around but didn't make eye contact but he had a mean scowl on his face. Angel said it'd be five minutes for us to be seated. I said cool. Angel walked away. A few other people pull up after we arrived and out of nowhere, another server by the name of Abram comes by and looks at the waiting list. Abram walks over to one of the couples that arrived after us and asks what name they had listed on the waiting list and then walks them over to sit them. A few moments later, Angel returns and tells Abram that we'd arrived first but Abram shrugged and then they started whispering amongst themselves. We continued to wait for about ten minutes while Abram just stands around being completely useless. Abram never said a single word to us. Not an apology for the delay. Not a single acknowledgement. Abram kept looking up at the ceiling, perhaps praying to a deity that we disappear and leave. We opted to make Abram's prayer come true by leaving. Based on the tacky signage posted, it's easy to see why this has such a low rating. Avoid.

I got to visit Keegan's again recently when a friend was visiting from out of town. We had just grabbed dinner and boba and headed out here to hang out for Saturday night. We came close to 10pm and there was a bouncer at the door checking everyone's IDs. The place was relatively packed with several different celebrations and birthdays in their outdoor area that has all the fire pits. They had waiters coming around the outside tables but one could also go straight to the bar to place drink orders. There were several tvs around the bar area and I spotted a pool area towards the back of the outside area. Most of the fire pits seating was taken by large parties but there were some smaller tables, that my friend and I were able to sit at. We didn't get any food but I got to try my old favorite Lemon Drop - which was a nice, refreshing sweet treat for a Saturday night. I did quickly scan the food menu and it's a lot of traditional bar food like burgers and fries. The music for the night consisted of old school rap songs from the 2000s. It seemed perfectly catered to the crowd for the night that seemed to consist of folks in their 30s and a few folks in their early 40s. Overall visiting here took me back to when my friend celebrated her birthday. It's an overall chill spot . The crowd wasn't overly loud or rowdy and everyone was just out enjoying a Saturday night.

This is an "order at the counter and they bring it out to you" type of place. The name "& cantina" makes me think you be sat down and someone takes your order. A tad confusing. Let me start with the service. The cashier was friendly but didn't give me any time to decide if I wanted a receipt before declining it on her end. It's a pet peeve. The place was empty. The menu is hard to read and the printed/laminated menus are poorly printed making them difficult to read. They seem to be promoting rolled tacos (aka taquitos) but this says "Blue Burro Burritos." I went with a burrito. It just contained carne asada, guac and pico. No rice. No beans. No cheese. All are extra. It's served with chips and a drink if you get the combo. They do give tiny portions of salsa on the side. The burrito itself looked like it had been on Ozempic for a few months. It tasted fine but just didn't seem plump. The chips were crispy, salty (in a good way) and tasted fresh but there wasn't anything to really dip them in. The salsa they served are in tiny cups so you can't get the chip in it. Honestly, they felt more like hot sauces. The habanero was okay, not really that spicy. The green one was too vinegary for my taste. The place was clean and they had loud music playing in the background. It was empty when I got there and considering all the ingredients in my burrito seemed precooked (like Chipotle), it took a while for the food to come. I went to the beverage bar and the different flavors of the non-soda beverage options had unnatural colors. The horchata looked like got into a fight with a Smurf and lost. The strawberry aquafresca was an unnatural milky opaque red. The cucumber seemed just a bit too neon green. The first two were not to my liking. The cucumber was refreshing but tasted like it contained a LOT of sugar. It was also annoying they didn't have any signs what was what. Back to the service. I had some chips left but went to get a refill on my beverage and the worker there took my food away assuming I was done. I caught her just before she left the dining area and asked her to return the food. She apologized. I think they can/should wait until someone leaves the establishment or at least ask. The combo was about $17. Bottom line: will I return? I would not come here on my own. I think the food is pricey for what it is. However, if I was with others who wanted to come here, I wouldn't say no. There are just better Mexican food restaurants in the area.
