Another meal chosen by Yelp! We were looking for a Palermo parrilla not far from our hotel and Las Horas hit the spot for ambience, friendly service, and value. We came for dinner at around 10 pm, and as usual in Argentina, only tourists are dining at this hour, so we were able to walk right in and sit down. The restaurant is fairly large and nicely decorated, with a pleasant ambience that's nice for couples: shelves of wine bottles, red and white tablecloths, and oversized clocks in keeping with the restaurant's name. As always, our Spanish is pretty bad, so our server put us out of our misery and switched to her much better English. The meal started with a bread basket and several sauces/toppings, one of which actually had some spice! The chorizo was juicy and perfectly cooked. Our ojo de bife and grilled vegetables were both very good and the meat was cooked as we requested, vuelta y vuelta. Our server was very patient and accommodating throughout the meal and answered our questions about the food. Prices are typical for a BA parrilla; on the server's recommendation, we ordered a more expensive wine than we typically would have, and our meal came to about US$60 total, which we felt was reasonable. Service is leisurely, and you're not hurried on your way as soon as you've finished eating. Tips are not included automatically, but you can ask to add a 10% tip (la propina) to your bill when you present your card. Nothing earth-shakingly unique here, just good-quality food that's well prepared and friendly service.

Hands down one of my favorite experiences while visiting Buenos Aires…read more From the start, the staff was incredibly welcoming and informative. We were greeted with welcome cocktails (we get to mix it ourselves!) plus snacks and wine pairings throughout the meal. The setting was very intimate, and everyone got to interact and participate like a group project while making the empanadas together. (I learned to cut onions correctly..) We learned about the food, some history, and had a great time chatting with fellow guests around us. What I really appreciated was how accommodating they were with dietary restrictions. Whether you're vegetarian or have dairy restrictions like I do, they truly work with you with food substitutes.. When we made empanadas, the chef even prepared a separate dough with olive oil instead of butter for 2 of us that didn't want dairy.. and the desserts were made dairy-free as well. Quite impressive. It felt like a full five-course meal. The hands-on part was making the empanadas, while the chef handled the entrees rest of the way with steaks and veggies. (Don't think anyone was complaining about that). Overall, great food, great conversations with our group and the people around us, and time flew by.. Awesome experience from start to finish. 5/5.

We made empanadas and chipá from scratch and every dish was paired with wine. This guys are phenomenal and their dishes are amazing. Chef Juan, Lautaro and Agustin are great hosts and very passionate about their craft. I would definitely recommend this activity if visiting Buenos Aires solo or with a group.

To start, the empanadas are absolutely delicious and I highly recommend them. The menu otherwise was quite rich. We got the Milanesa, and the Ossobuco on polenta. I found the Milanesa to be a touch on the greasier side than I am used to, but it was delicious! And the Ossobuco on polenta was quite rich, especially with the bone marrow - I had a hard time finishing this, but I highly recommend it. The portions are quite large, so sharing dishes is probably not a bad idea. I am also pleasantly surprised by the cocktail scene of Argentina, especially Buenos Aires! There was a spicy version of a Negroni on the menu that the staff warned me about but I kind of took it as "they probably mean it's a strong drink" But NOPE - it is actually spicy! As a spice lover this was really interesting, but not for everyone. The ambiance of the dining area was quite interesting with photographs and memorabilia. If I had one little advice for the restaurant, maybe fix up the bathrooms a little bit. Peron Peron captures the essence of Buenos Aires in a way that may be a bit controversial, but the food is definitely worth the trip!

Drinks were great. The bartender waited on us because there were a lot of us English speaking people, but he was kind of rude to our Spanish guide.
