We got there early and were seated immediately. The meals comes with only one free plate of salsa and chips. The salsa was tasty and had a good level of kick to it, but it always frustrates me when places only have one plate of chips that are free. The chimichanga was good with shredded beef, but sometimes the cuts of meat were not shredded enough and were large. I chose the medium spicy level for the green chili and it was definitely spicy. My rice was very crispy, so it was either over or under cooked. My husband got the chicken and cheese enchiladas. The chicken didn't have a lot of flavor, but the cheese were good. read more

I really enjoy eating here and I like the staff. The food is amazing New Mexican-style cuisine and the drinks are decent, as well. They really adhere to COVID-19 regulations and I feel pretty safe in there. They have options for hot chili so if you have a taste for that, they will not disappoint. I will say, they do not have good "to-go" containers as everything leaks through the cracks and gets into the bags. Once you get home, everything is a major mess. read more

The food was poor, the "queso" is a bowl of velvetta cheese with jalapeños chopped on the side, salsa sub par also. We ordered drinks which were also terribly prepared. The frozen margarita had been partially blended in a blender and had zero flavor and they literally nickel and dime you for everything. Don't ask to substitute any sauce on any thing or they'll charge you $8 per substitute and says on the menu they charge for extra baskets of chips. My Hispanic friend and I went there and she liked it. She said the Mexican food was authentic. Unfortunately, before it was about to be close at 9pm, restaurant people started cleaning and there was strong chemical smell. We weren't finished eating and our meals were still on the table. We expressed this concern and waitress said there is nothing she can do. A waitress then asked us to switch turn off "the "Open" sign at the window where we sat. It wasn't even 30 minutes and she rushed us. We didn't finish eating but we wanted to leave immediately because our eyes were burning and we coughed. Yay! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Denver area. Reminds me of my favorite Mexican spot where I ate growing up as a kid in Southern California. Woo hoo! I ordered the chicken enchiladas with tomatillo verde sauce. The chicken was shredded and so juicy. The verde sauce was tangy, fresh and flavorful! The rice and beans were spot on, and I'm very picky about my refried beans. They were the perfect consistency...not too sloppy and not too thick. Even the diced tomatoes and lettuce on the side of the enchiladas were very fresh. I will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis. read more

Most Mexican restaurants disguise themselves as authentic & the give away is the watered down salsas that taste like bottled spaghetti sauce. They make REAL Hot salsa & it didn't disappoint. New to the area and we were looking for a Mexican spot to be regulars at. This place is NOT that. We ordered chicken enchiladas, beef enchiladas, chili relleno, and chicken fajitas. We barely ate anything because it was just incredibly underwhelming. The seasonings were off (cinnamon in the enchilada sauce??), the food was mushy. We threw it away and ate leftovers instead. Consistently good food and consistently good service. Parking is easy as the lot is pretty big. The bathrooms may be the tiniest bathrooms I've ever seen anywhere in my entire life. Don't try to turn around in there, you have to squeeze out sideways. Lol. The fajitas here usually have the correct balance of meat versus vegetables versus fixings. Pros: Consistently good food Prices are fair Service here has always been good They have a full bar in tasty margaritas Cons: I would have to say one thing that bugs me about this place is that they close kind of early some nights of the week. I've ordered takeout from Las Dalias a few times in the past few months. They're also offering dine-in service, but I prefer to either eat on patios or at home these days. After finding my faves here, this is one of my go-to Mexican restaurants. Love their burritos (including breakfast), tostadas, enchiladas verdes (you MUST try this sauce. It's the bomb!), and tamales. Their carne asada is also tasty. Service is always nothing less than genuinely friendly, and fast, and prices are right. Ugh. Gringo Mex at its worst. Tamale plate was two smallish tamales, some rice and beans on an enormous plate drowned in green chile. It was more like tamale soup on a plate -- it was that much sauce. Others in the group had chimichangas, and the first 2 1/2 inches on either end was just tortilla. All the meat was in the middle, so be prepared for chewy, sodden flour tortilla for the first and last few bites. We were seated and asked for waters all around, then waited and waited and waited. Finally, a different server came over and asked if our drinks orders were taken yet. Well, technically yes, they were TAKEN... Chips and salsa -- one in the group said the salsa was the same as Taco Bell. I don't eat at Taco Bell (I'm not in college anymore, so no, I don't eat that stuff), so I can't comment on that. It was your typical ketchup-consistency salsa -- nothing special. Booths are VERY tight for four people to the point of being really uncomfortable, so if you're tall or big, eat outside with the view of the parking lot. All together this restaurant was a huge disappointment, especially in light of the reviews here. read more

I've given up on trying to find camarones Diablo and have lowered my expectations to a good cheese enchilada . But that's nearly as elusive as the shrimp. Why is it so hard to get the cheese inside melted? The salsa is good and so are the beans. Enchilada sauce has good spiciness, tacos were ok. Not on my list of places to go back to tho. read more

Truly a hidden gem in Lakewood. Ivan and Ricardo are the two servers we have every time and they are the best. They are like family to us now. They are very kind to my dad, who is disabled, and treat him so well, along with all of us. The food is delicious, I had tried so many items and my favorite is the Steak tacos. Their fajitas are equally as delicious. The salsa is really tasty, too. The margaritas are decent but as much as I love this place would suggest a better sour mix. Beer selection is great, too. Their breakfast is awesome! We get burritos to go on occasion and have always been pleased with them. We love it here and go quite often. read more

We had takeout from here last night! All of the order was amazing! Shrimp fajita burrito, kids burrito & a combination plate. The appearance and flavor of the food was outstanding! I couldn't believe how crispy the taco, chili relleno, and tostada were!! One of the reasons I don't generally like Mexican takeout, is it just usually gets kind of soggy once you get home. The rice and beans were very tasty and perfect texture! We will definitely be going back!! I hope the quality is consistent! I wish they had more taco options! I ordered take out last night from here for my first time. I arrived at 8pm and walked right in and was able to order with a waiter immediately. Looking over the menu was a little overwhelming as there was so much to pick from. I had the shrimp tacos which was like a ceviche style yet hot with cut up onions, peppers and jalapeños I added avocado slices. I thought the shrimp had excellent flavor. As well as the rice and beans. Don't forget to order the green hot sauce.. soooo good! My boyfriend ordered the chicken burrito which was way more wet than he expected it almost looked like a chicken tortilla soup. He was really hungry and we were already home to make any changes but he did say he wouldn't order a burrito to go or without the sauce on top. Overall the quick service and greeting was pretty good and I thought my tacos were also very tasty. I'd have to try more things off the menu and maybe eat at the restaurant to give a better review of my experience. read more

We just ordered a to go order, the first girl who was taking our order was professional & nice! but then the server who took over, restarted the order & only ordered half of our food ... ( keep in mind I'm ordering for 5 persons ) When I arrived to pick up the food, she has an attitude, for no reason! She got more rowdy once I asked for the copy of the receipt! She made a huge excuse of what happend to the receipt, so i asked if i could at least take the written one she wrote, she said No, that was her copy. So I asked to at least take a picture of the receipt, she did. She wasn't even bagging our food, she expected me to just carry it out like that, didn't even offer me a cup carrier. Once i asked for a bag, she bagged the food all sloppy, everything was all over the place. Didn't even give us napkins or forks/spoons. Once I get back to my job, half of our order was missing & the half we ordered is all cold. we call to let them know & she's still giving us attitude. Very unpleasant to deal with. read more

When they say hot, they mean HOT! As someone who lived within waving distance of the Border, I can tell you straight up that this is THE best authentic Mexican food in Denver!!! The portions are huge, the cost is minimal, and you haven't had a margarita until you've had their Happy Margarita - which is like a half-gallon with straws in it. Two people can leave stuffed for less that $40 - with alcohol! Everything's fresh, and the green chili!... oh man, it's *delicious*. The atmosphere, the food, the smiling staff, and the drinks are strong... all for a low cost. Go there, you won't be disappointed!!! read more

I really wanted to like Las Dalias since it's so close to me. It's always so crowded and parking is a nightmare, so I ordered takeout. I got 3 sausage, egg and potato smothered burritos. Unfortunately, the green chile was overpowered by the taste of black pepper. I like spicy especially a good green chile, but it wasn't a good spicy at all, just a nasty burn the throat black pepper spice. The sausage was a jimmy dean breakfast sausage link cut into pieces... not bad but really should have been regular sausage. Of the 3 people eating only one could finish the burrito, another gave up completely after a couple bites and the third ate around the chile and just ate the sausage and potatoes, the rest went in the trash. Sad to say, I doubt I'll be back. read more

Solid 4 stars. I ordered takeout yesterday a la cart style: crispy chili relleno (comes smothered w/ green chili), beef enchilada, chicken enchilada, chicken taco, and side of beans. The good: 1) Green chili can come mild, medium or hot. I got hot because I love spicy and hot-diggity-dayum it was spicy! Like really good but also burned-my-mouth-and-stomach-and-had-to-wash-down-with-beer-and-beans kind of spicy. So much flavor. I will probably get medium next time. 2) Beef enchilada was good (ground beef was their standard option not shredded), had good flavor and beans were also yummy (our little one ate a massive amount of it and she is picky!) 3) Portions were GENEROUS and price was good - all that for just under $20. It was enough food for me and my little one for dinner plus my breakfast (threw an egg on top) and lunch the next day! I compared with another Green Mtn Mexican place and everything was a few bucks cheaper here. I am all about value. 4) It was ready quickly (10-15min) and packed nicely into individual boxes (he did ask if they could combine the enchiladas and I said yes). 5) Exterior/neighborhood looked a little rough but interior looked super cute. I can't wait to dine in at some point. The not so great: 1) The chicken - BLEH. Dry and stringy. I am kind of picky about my chicken (i.e. usually tastes dry to me) but I think most people would agree. I will definitely be skipping any chicken options going forward. 2) The soft tortilla of the taco (corn based) had completely fallen apart and was super soggy. Granted it was take out and I didn't eat it right away and had to reheat. Will definitely skip the soft-tacos for takeout. (My crispy relleno was also not very crispy by the time I ate it over an hour after it was made but I kind of expected that and it was still pretty dang tasty. Plus I used the generous amount of green chili sauce that came with it to make the chicken taco & chicken enchilada less awful...will order again for sure). Really disappointing. Guacamole was a pureed slurry mixture.. Ordered steak burritto smothered.. Arrived with a mixture of smooth,whipped beans and tiny, (really tiny) bits of charred meat inside. (Had to look to make sure there was steak/meat inside). Pathetic... One upside...service was good, fast. Inside decor was pleasant. Crispy Chile relieno was good. green chile came ...mild, mediu m, hot. Hot was hot....but all sauces were again .....totally pureed....no chunks..except for one piece of pork.
