This would be a five star review minus two things. 1. My menu was filthy. Sticky and needed cleaning desperately. Menus are touched by people all day and as such need to be cleaned. 2. A three percent credit card fee. I despise credit card fees and often avoid places that charge them. Aside from the two points I made above, this restaurant was fantastic. I received a fifty percent off coupon in the Money Nailer and decided to give it a shot. I invited my brother in law and headed over. Plentiful and close in parking. The outside of the building is rather basic but the inside is nothing but vibrant colors and beautiful decorations. The color schemes really worked for me. We were seated within a minute of walking in the door and had chips and salsa thirty seconds later. Our drink order was taken immediately and the woman taking the order was friendly and pleasant. Our waiter, showed up a few minutes later and took our order. I ordered the fish taco salad and my brother in law ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas. Both meals showed up in about 15 minutes and were piping hot and fresh. I could hear the fajitas sizzling for a full two minutes. My fish taco salad was amazing and I enjoyed every bite. The bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas looked and smelled incredible. My brother in law said they tasted as good as they smelled and looked. We also shared a shrimp cocktail that knocked my panties off. Or, would have, had I been wearing any. LoL. This was a great lunch and I will happily return. I really hope they read this and clean the menus. Very unattractive. read more

Late lunch so there were only a few tables seated. Tacos were a little dry and salty. Green chile over burrito was lacking. Will come back to try other dishes but I felt the food was just average. Service was good as food and drinks came out fast read more

This place is cute, clean and vibrant! Service was quick and friendly. The menu is huge with a ton of options for everyone. The "Hot" green chili did not disappoint, and in fact, I had to take some home! I also had a tamale that had plenty of filling in it, unlike places that is mostly masa. My friend had a tostada and an enchilada and enjoyed it. Their salsa was also the perfect heat level and texture. We noticed a very cute patio and cannot wait for it to warm up to sit out there! read more

Food was good but not exceptional. Not very spicy even though I had ordered extra hot. Main issue, however, was that the place is not ADA compliant. No handicap parking -- and even worse -- no accessible restrooms!! We had someone with us in a wheelchair and it was impossible for them to get into the tiny restroom with a low toilet and no grab bars. read more

While in Denver, our last meal with Bestie was at Las Dalias. Clean, bright, festive inside, we were greeted with some amazing smiles walking in. The food was great! Their green chili was gravy style, great for dipping my brochette shrimp! The Cadillac margarita was delish! Only one was needed! No wonder this is one of besties favorite local eats. read more

Bait and switch... i just ordered the #3 lunch special, listed for $9.99 on their Lakewood website. When I got to the restaurant to pick it up, employee at the counter told me that the lunch specials are really $11.99 and NOT the $9.99 price advertised. I showed him the website listing for $9.99. He said the owners told him that he needs to charge $11.99 despite the advertised price. I declined to pay the non-advertised price. Las Dalias has lost a customer due to this deceptive practice. read more

Food was okay. Service was good. Green chile was not spicy, eventhough I asjed for hot. Prices reasonable and good lunch specials.

I thought the food was fairly game at Las Dalias, everything tasted fresh and I absolutely adored the beans (I love very very mushed re-fried beans). Unfortunately my party didn't agree so I'll have to average everybody's opinion and give it a 3.5 star rating. Also worth noting is their decor. If you have kids dining here, don't even need to give them crayons, they can (and should) just gawk at the table art. All the chairs are colorful and I think paintings on the tables are different. The staff is very warm and friendly. I'd say this could be your neighborhood Mexican restaurant. read more

The only thing this "Mexican food" restaurant has going for it is it's clean. The food was bad. ( the pork chop had been reheated in the microwave) The portions were small. The "drinks" were worse than any dive bar would've served. (Pina Colada was topped with cinnamon) had no rum and it cost 10.50 CO has many Mexican Restaurants. Try any other one and see what Green chili should really taste like! This joint needs a makeover. For 2 people we spent way to much for this! Don't recommend anyone try it . read more

Love this place! Their green chile is very tasty, comes in mild, medium, and hot. The hot can be really hot, which is the I like. Most of the time I will get a combination of an enchilada, chile relleno and tamale which is very filling. There is a large variety of menu items and the service is always friendly. read more

Service is crap. No refills on water at all, food was dry. Male server with the mullet has ZERO charisma and no welcoming vibes at all, walks around as if he's doing the customer the favor. Asked for extra salsa, never happened. And I noticed other tables weren't being served accordingly and multiple people had to ask for water refills. read more

I eat here commonly especially after visiting the range next door and have never had a bad experience. Wait staff is everything you would expect from a full service restaurant. Call me whatever you'd like but I've only ever ordered the cheese enchiladas here because I'm a simple man and I love cheese, never heard my family or friends complain about their food either. Parking is average but never had too much trouble. read more

This used to be one of my favorite spots, now I don't know if I will ever be back. Most importantly, on my most recent visit the restaurant changed the tip left on the credit card. After learning about this from my credit card monitoring, I read some other review that show I am not the only one. So this seems to be a common issue, so beware and maybe only use cash if you decide to support this place anyway. They inflated the tip from about 20% to just over 30%, just enough they wouldn't think I'd notice. Prices have sky rocked over the last couple years, quality has plummeted, and 3 out of 3 of my last visits my order has been wrong. The hard working staff has turned over. There are plenty of other good options in the area, this is not one of them. read more

If you're looking for the spiciest, most delicious green chile in town, this is the place. The food is always delicious here, everyone is on top of refills and service. Thanks! read more

I haven't been here in eight months.I left him a great review.I even brought my sister here.So she could try their food, cause it used to be great. And most of the food is pretty good, but we ordered a cheese enchilada, which had too much cumin and salt. The lady who works here called me a liar and she's eating after the plate that I ordered. She said there's nothing wrong with it.I said, but you gotta understand both of our taste.Buds are different and to me.It's got too much salt too much.Cumin, it's horrible, it tastes like crab.I said i've eaten here several times before. In the past and ordered their enchiladas, which were really good because my sister likes those. But i'm sorry, it was nasty. And I told her, I don't mind paying for the food, but i'm not gonna eat it so you could take it off because it's gross. Then, she had the nerve to sit here and call me a liar saying that there's nothing wrong with their food that I should if I don't want to pay for it, they should just say.So and I said, that's not it.We have plenty of money.I said it's not that but i'm not paying for something that tastes like s***. On top of it, our waiter took almost forty five minutes to wait on our table. He went around us, wouldn't even look at us, wouldn't even acknowledged us.We had to ask for a refill. He didn't even ask us if our food is good.We had to ask a different person just to get a box, and he's still walking around us like we don't exist. So I wouldn't bother coming here, go.Somewhere else gomez burritos is better than thornton read more

During a recent trip to Denver this week, we ate here not once but twice! This family owned business serves up some fabulous, authentic and delicious Mexican food. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. But, once inside it's a different story. The restaurant, itself, has a very vibrant and upbeat decor. We ate in the restaurant one night and did delivery another. I ordered the Fish Tacos. Hands down, the best fish tacos I have ever had! The fish was prepared baja style (not some of that fried batter stuff we find out here on the East Coast) and it was extremely flavorful and tasty. The quantity of fish in the taco was very generous. My husband ordered the Mexican Hamburger and liked it, but wished he had order the Fish Tacos. They were that good!! We used Door Dash another night and ordered the Fajita platter and a Chile Relleno for delivery. The food was great. However the delivery of it was a bit sloppy. Sauce from the Chile Relleno was all over the sides of the styrofoam container and inside the plastic bag. So, I would use caution on what your order for delivery through Door Dash. However, it did not deter from the food. read more

Not much on the way of negative! This place was great, just the right size; a hidden gem. I had a top shelf margarita and it came out in a cool cup! The chimichanga was covered with a tomatillo based sauce ordered at medium heat it was flavorful and fresh. My sister had the steak platter with beans, avocado, she said was tender and well seasoned! If you crave authentic flavors stop by this joint! The side of corn tortillas were only warmed rather than grill toasted. Drinks lacked creativity and the rice was a bit dry but tasty. read more

We ate there after church as we usually do and my wife was halfway done with her meal and found 2 pieces of metal from a scrubber in her food that ended up in her mouth and showed the waiter and they were apologetic about it and so my wife didn't finish her food but yet, they charged us half for what she did eat! We will not be going there any longer. read more

Been craving Mexican and with this spot right down the street from us, it was an easy decision as to where to go. Crazy friendly service, family owned and good that is quick and hits the spot. Wifee had the carnitas plate and I got a combo. Kids were happy with their meal. What more can we want from a neighborhood spot? Definitely is becoming our go to spot for Mexican. read more

Great authentic Mexican food! Have dined in and take out and every time the service is fast. Menu is full of tasty Mexican staples and I have no complaints on any of them. Word of warning: if you order it HOT be prepared! It's legit!! read more

Amazing green chili especially if you like it mild or hot ( the hot is hot which I love) , the beef and bean burrito is fire

Have been here several times. The ambience is mexican casual. Lots of bright colors. Carpets need some attention and the entire place needs some love but I like the bright colors and the happy atmosphere. The food is very good. Corn shells are crispy and light, beans are cooked throughly and have good texture. Veggies are fresh and cooked properly. Lots of shredded lettuce comes with many entrees and I like that. The wait staff is mostly quite good. They are always very friendly. Once or twice, I have had slow or inattentive service but overall, I like the service I and my family receive here. Definitely like to go back here. read more

The food is good but the customer service is the worse. Every time we've called you we got this automatic response to hit #1 for takeout and automatically get hung on more than 10 times!!!Once an actual person answered and put me on hold and NEVER returned. Tonight, we wanted to order for five people and called repeatedly and were hung up on multiple times...AGAIN. We have another fabulous Mexican restaurant that we drive over 40 minutes and it's worth every mile!!If you want EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE...please go to EL TACO DE MEXICO on the corner of Santa Fe and 7th...the best overall hole in flavors! Yes, I'll still (like) Las Dalias but trying to have a human answer the phone was complete BS!!! This is a photo of El Taco De Mexico Taco Plate!! The flavors are impeccable! read more

Poor service, rude waitstaff, average food. Was not a good experience and not worth it..

Came in on a Friday night. They seemed busy even with the Covid restrictions. They do a terrible job of policing their entry which gets very crowded with people waiting for take-out and to be seated. The service was painfully slow. Drinks took forever. The food wasn't much better. Las Dalias Fajitas had 4 shrimp, barely any steak (was it steak?) some chicken and a TON of veggies. The crispy relleno was good as was the green chili which was surprisingly spicy. Seems to be a popular spot, so maybe it was an off-night? read more

Food is horrible. Ordered a chile rellano burrito and asked for it soft and with hot chili. Well it was fried and was practically rubber and the chili was just pure tomato sauce. Will not be returning. read more

Service was terrible no one helped us or checked on us didn't even offer water or dessert. They were all in a hurry to get people out.

Goodness gracious! The tacos adovadas are to die for! I'm usually only on this side of town once or twice a week, and since I've discovered them I make a point to skip lunch just to eat here. The portions are hearty and tasty, and the staff is super chill. read more

Food is by far good. Great atmosphere. Waitress was on top of everything. No complaints on food what-so-ever. Downfall to good food. Don't order alcohol from this place. Owners son charges $9.99 for a shot of Baileys Irish Crème. Told us liquor has went up because of inflation lol. Also said they put a half a shot of tequila in his margaritas. Do not order top shelf. A full shot is a half a shot even though they claim it's a full. Did some research at a few other places tonight, $5.00, $3.00 and $5.00 at three different places. No need to lie about what is being charged. Owners son is rude unfortunately. Sorry won't go back to this place. In his defense he did take $2.00 dollars off of the bill for the Baileys lol. read more

Went for lunch last week and didn't get our order taken for over 10 minutes while the person that finally came to the table was at the register adding up the daily sales.
