This would be a five star review minus two things. 1. My menu was filthy. Sticky and needed cleaning desperately. Menus are touched by people all day and as such need to be cleaned. 2. A three percent credit card fee. I despise credit card fees and often avoid places that charge them. Aside from the two points I made above, this restaurant was fantastic. I received a fifty percent off coupon in the Money Nailer and decided to give it a shot. I invited my brother in law and headed over. Plentiful and close in parking. The outside of the building is rather basic but the inside is nothing but vibrant colors and beautiful decorations. The color schemes really worked for me. We were seated within a minute of walking in the door and had chips and salsa thirty seconds later. Our drink order was taken immediately and the woman taking the order was friendly and pleasant. Our waiter, showed up a few minutes later and took our order. I ordered the fish taco salad and my brother in law ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas. Both meals showed up in about 15 minutes and were piping hot and fresh. I could hear the fajitas sizzling for a full two minutes. My fish taco salad was amazing and I enjoyed every bite. The bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas looked and smelled incredible. My brother in law said they tasted as good as they smelled and looked. We also shared a shrimp cocktail that knocked my panties off. Or, would have, had I been wearing any. LoL. This was a great lunch and I will happily return. I really hope they read this and clean the menus. Very unattractive. read more

This place is cute, clean and vibrant! Service was quick and friendly. The menu is huge with a ton of options for everyone. The "Hot" green chili did not disappoint, and in fact, I had to take some home! I also had a tamale that had plenty of filling in it, unlike places that is mostly masa. My friend had a tostada and an enchilada and enjoyed it. Their salsa was also the perfect heat level and texture. Food was good but not exceptional. Not very spicy even though I had ordered extra hot. Main issue, however, was that the place is not ADA compliant. No handicap parking -- and even worse -- no accessible restrooms!! While in Denver, our last meal with Bestie was at Las Dalias. Clean, bright, festive inside, we were greeted with some amazing smiles walking in. The food was great! Bait and switch... i just ordered the #3 lunch special, listed for $9.99 on their Lakewood website. When I got to the restaurant to pick it up, employee at the counter told me that the lunch specials are really $11.99 and NOT the $9.99 price advertised. I showed him the website listing for $9.99. He said the owners told him that he needs to charge $11.99 despite the advertised price. I declined to pay the non-advertised price. I thought the food was fairly game at Las Dalias, everything tasted fresh and I absolutely adored the beans (I love very very mushed re-fried beans). Unfortunately my party didn't agree so I'll have to average everybody's opinion and give it a 3.5 star rating. Also worth noting is their decor. If you have kids dining here, don't even need to give them crayons, they can (and should) just gawk at the table art. All the chairs are colorful and I think paintings on the tables are different. The staff is very warm and friendly. I'd say this could be your neighborhood Mexican restaurant. read more

The only thing this "Mexican food" restaurant has going for it is it's clean. The food was bad. ( the pork chop had been reheated in the microwave) The portions were small. The "drinks" were worse than any dive bar would've served. (Pina Colada was topped with cinnamon) had no rum and it cost 10.50 CO has many Mexican Restaurants. Try any other one and see what Green chili should really taste like! This joint needs a makeover. For 2 people we spent way to much for this! Don't recommend anyone try it . read more

Love this place! Their green chile is very tasty, comes in mild, medium, and hot. The hot can be really hot, which is the I like. Most of the time I will get a combination of an enchilada, chile relleno and tamale which is very filling. There is a large variety of menu items and the service is always friendly. read more

Service is crap. No refills on water at all, food was dry. Male server with the mullet has ZERO charisma and no welcoming vibes at all, walks around as if he's doing the customer the favor. I eat here commonly especially after visiting the range next door and have never had a bad experience. Wait staff is everything you would expect from a full service restaurant. Call me whatever you'd like but I've only ever ordered the cheese enchiladas here because I'm a simple man and I love cheese, never heard my family or friends complain about their food either. This used to be one of my favorite spots, now I don't know if I will ever be back. Most importantly, on my most recent visit the restaurant changed the tip left on the credit card. After learning about this from my credit card monitoring, I read some other review that show I am not the only one. So this seems to be a common issue, so beware and maybe only use cash if you decide to support this place anyway. They inflated the tip from about 20% to just over 30%, just enough they wouldn't think I'd notice. Prices have sky rocked over the last couple years, quality has plummeted, and 3 out of 3 of my last visits my order has been wrong. The hard working staff has turned over. During a recent trip to Denver this week, we ate here not once but twice! This family owned business serves up some fabulous, authentic and delicious Mexican food. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. But, once inside it's a different story. The restaurant, itself, has a very vibrant and upbeat decor. We ate in the restaurant one night and did delivery another. I ordered the Fish Tacos. Hands down, the best fish tacos I have ever had! The fish was prepared baja style (not some of that fried batter stuff we find out here on the East Coast) and it was extremely flavorful and tasty. The quantity of fish in the taco was very generous. My husband ordered the Mexican Hamburger and liked it, but wished he had order the Fish Tacos. They were that good!! We used Door Dash another night and ordered the Fajita platter and a Chile Relleno for delivery. The food was great. However the delivery of it was a bit sloppy. Sauce from the Chile Relleno was all over the sides of the styrofoam container and inside the plastic bag. So, I would use caution on what your order for delivery through Door Dash. The chimichanga was covered with a tomatillo based sauce ordered at medium heat it was flavorful and fresh. My sister had the steak platter with beans, avocado, she said was tender and well seasoned! Been craving Mexican and with this spot right down the street from us, it was an easy decision as to where to go. Crazy friendly service, family owned and good that is quick and hits the spot. Have been here several times. The ambience is mexican casual. Lots of bright colors. Carpets need some attention and the entire place needs some love but I like the bright colors and the happy atmosphere. The food is very good. Corn shells are crispy and light, beans are cooked throughly and have good texture. Veggies are fresh and cooked properly. Lots of shredded lettuce comes with many entrees and I like that. The wait staff is mostly quite good. They are always very friendly. Once or twice, I have had slow or inattentive service but overall, I like the service I and my family receive here. Came in on a Friday night. They seemed busy even with the Covid restrictions. They do a terrible job of policing their entry which gets very crowded with people waiting for take-out and to be seated. The service was painfully slow. Drinks took forever. The food wasn't much better. Las Dalias Fajitas had 4 shrimp, barely any steak (was it steak?) some chicken and a TON of veggies.
