Standing room only and expect bar seating if you don't have a reservation. The top shelf margarita was exceptional. The staff is also exceptional and very friendly and very concerned about food items being brought out in a timely manner I got lengua tacos and they were brought out at an optimal temperature and loaded bigger than anybody else does in town. Definitely the best tacos I've had in a while. The restaurant does get busy and quite noisy so if you're sensitive to loud noises, I would bring earplugs to enhance your dining experience. I will certainly return to the location more often and I really enjoyed my dining experience recently.

We were seated inside next to a cozy fireplace just like a nice family setting. The iced margarita is arguably the best in Springfield followed by an innovative quesabirria that hit a spot I didn't even know was missing. Just like a quesadilla but served with consome for dipping, this simple creation was amazing. Even the kids agreed "this is the best taco/burrito I've ever had." To back up this claim, I've only seen them clean a handful of plates and they cleared these in record times! The service and attentive staff was top notch and very friendly and understanding. Service was very friendly, but we had to wait way too long for a check and finally just had to ask for it. Except for the $1 tacos, we cannot recommend the place, and we won't be back. Looks like the second review came in right after I posted mine. Thinking it might be an employee or one of the owners who saw and didn't like my honest review. But La Cabana needs to make some changes to its recipes and service before it can be one of the Springfield's top Mexican restaurants and compete with the best ones like Tortilleria Perches and Tacos El Gordo, just to name two.
