When your owner refuses to come speak to an unhappy customer it sets a bad tone. I've always enjoyed coming but the last few times the food was lacking. When your queso looks like milk that's just gross and your portions are never the same. The waitresses are fantastic good job to them, the food issues aren't on them, that's on the kitchen staff. read more

So El patron is under new management. The family Loza is doing pretty good! The Ceviche was nicely fresh and delicious! The fresh guacamole was so good we ordered a second for dessert! Great variety on the menu, not just the common "Mexican" foods. Once they get their liquor license this will become a regular stop for us! read more

Absolute best Mexican restaurant for miles around!! These gentlemen take service with a smile to a whole new level. When you walk in, the large booths and tall ceiling gives it an expansive ambiance. The food is hands down the best Mexican I've had. I highly recommend requesting the guacamole when you are seated. Made fresh for each customer, it's always fresh and delicious. The food is amazing. The portions are ample, the flavours are the best I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant, and the service is great. I've never had their deserts though as I've never had room after dinner! Their prices are great as well. We spend about $40 for two adults and a toddler, including drinks. Overall my favorite restaurant in Seymour. read more

BEST Mexican inspired food in the area. The tacos are reminiscent of those I ate when I lived in Central America. Very fresh. The hot and mild salsas were pretty good too. VERY FAST, very clean, very friendly. read more

My food was good. The customer service is awful. One person in our group ordered chicken taco's just chicken and shell when he got it, it had peppers and onions in it when he told the waiters he said "that is the way you ordered it". He said he didnt realize that it had the peppers and onions because usually chicken tacos just has shredded chicken, the waiter said again "you ordered it that way" his wife took one bite of one of the tacos to se if you could taste the peppers and onions. But he said he didn't want it so he finally got the waiter to bring him a hamburger and fries. They went ahead and charged him $1.99 for there being a bite out of one of the taco's. The waiter was very, very, very rude. read more

Pretty good, and not just good for a small town. I was hesitant to stop and get carbed out while driving, but they had a lot more light options than most of these style Mexican restaurants. Right off the highway so bonus points. Cheap and decent beer selection. I'm going to give it 4 stars for what and where it is. read more

Really good Mexican food here. Salsa is very mild, so kid friendly. Staff is very fast and friendly. Menu has everything that your standard Mexican restaurant has. Try something different every time you come. So far after 3 trips everything is just as good or better than restaurants in larger towns. read more

Excellent fresh food. Guacamole made in front of you. Spanish speaking staff. Wish they had horchata and an occasional Mexican band playing.

We typed in another place and this is where it took us. That's fine. Small town Mexican food has been good to us lately. They were super friendly and the food arrived quickly. The salsa they served with the customary chips and salsa was freaking amazing. Really big fan of the fresh taste. The taco salad I had was also A+. The beef was well seasoned and the taco bowl was crisp and delicious. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Was hesitant to try but we got hungry and decided to give it a whirl. Not the worst place but definitely not the best. The salsa and chips were good & I had the chicken verde enchiladas. Very slow service but it was very busy and they seemed short staffed. I also got a beef taco didn't like how finely ground the beef was and they messed up on the order (had ordered chicken but tried anyways). Decently priced and for a small town they seem to do great business. I will try it again and maybe be wowed with another dish, was not disappointed but mediocre in my opinion. Good if you're hungry. Kids meal ordered chicken Alfredo and it was very greasy. read more

We like Mexican food, so we took my mother and sisters family out for a special meal...and it was a very good meal. I love mushrooms, and so I chose their Mushroom Quesadila, and it was delicious!! It was very reasonably priced...only 6.99. We had very polite and efficient service. Try it out...you won't be disappointed. Stephen Burk read more

Food is really good!! Not to much into the type of cheese they use, but other than that, I like it a lot. They make the best avocado dip. Prices are fair and the place is very clean. The staff are very friendly and make sure you're satisfied. I recommend this restaurant. read more
