This is a taco truck parked in Speedy Mart's lot with $1.50 tacos, $5 tortas, "horchata and tamarindo straight from the barrel," and not to mention homemade icey treats (nieves). Tacos come with the requisite radish slices, onion & cilantro, and lime wedge. Fillings: asada, carnitas, pastor, barbacoa, lengua, pollo, and tripa. Tortas: quesillo, jamon, chorizo, milanesa, and asada. Red & green salsas and guac on the side for personal flourishes. I like my lengua tacos with a squirt of green and two of guac. These are the best lengua tacos I've had outside of Roosevelt Ave in Jackson Heights, Queens. Miles better than Xalisco and Cuco's. Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 11am-midnight. Rain or shine.

This particular location is known for its gorditas and tacos but JM and I both got Quesadillas. Mine was chicken and his was steak. The prices are so cheap! it was $2.50 each for the quesadillas and they were delicious! They were a great start to the tour! They are served Mexican style with radishes and cucumber and is full of real, authentic Mexican flavors. There aren't any seats at this location, so either get your meal to go (para llevar) or bring your own chairs.

I go frequently and I believe that it is the freshest most authentic Mexican street food that I have yet to find in Columbus. I say that based on having lived in Cuernavaca, Mexico. If you are driving West on Broad Street from the I-70 exchange as you're going up the hill you will notice it on the left hand side in the parking lot beside a large yellow building so it's easy to find. Another reason I find the ladies having the most authentic and best Mexican street food is because if you would stand back and watch the clientele that is eating what these ladies prepare you are going to find 90% of everybody there is Mexican and that should tell you it's real and authentic. If you're in the area oh, it is well worth it to stop and experience what the ladies are preparing because it is just as if they're preparing everything in their homes for their families and you will become a member there family automatically.
