We were there on a slower Saturday, but everything with the service, food, and views were great. You have to consider this is a floating dock. The drinks were great. The pork tenderloin was a huge portion that was super crispy and tasty. And the fries and onion rings were great. Would definitely go back, though we can see that it could be packed and maybe have some wait on super busy boating days. read more

The bar service was fast and reliable. The waitress was anything but. To be fair looked to be just on waitress and a rather lot of ppl do to Harbor hop. However it seemed to be just our table ordering food. It did come out fast which isn't surprising since it was just a plate of cold nachos. The ambiance, you cannot beat sitting in the patio watching the lake and feeling breeze. Even on the very hot days it was comfortable. The vibes of this place were great and the drinks were delicious! The food however, was just okay. The restaurant is floating on the water which is really fun and there are fans around to keep cool. You can also see, and some people fed, some fish in the lake. The drinks we ordered were great and reasonably priced. We ordered the disco fries after seeing good reviews but we did not like them. The fries themselves were great but the queso on top of the fries was not good. It was like a gross cheese sauce that tasted a little funky. I ordered the shrimp basket with fries and enjoyed it. It was your basic fried shrimp but still good and loved the fries! My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and was a little disappointed. The shrimp on their were fried, which we knew when we ordered but it would have been better with unbreaded shrimp. Then it was supposed to be topped with a zesty aioli but it was more like a French dressing which was just not good with the tacos. Then the mango salsa was essentially pico with mango mixed in, which was okay. If I were to go back, it would be for the drinks and the vibes! I would order the shrimp basket and maybe try the Hawaiian sandwich because that looked good. But I recommend staying away from the shrimp tacos and the disco fries! Surprisingly yummy and entertaining place to have lunch or dinner after a trip to Bridal Cave. I had the fish strips (fantastic) and my friends had a simple cheese pizza (crisp and tasty). The chicken strips are generously portioned pieces of breast meat, and the onion rings looked fab. Everyone in our group was happy with both the food and the service. A huge covered dock is fun to sit on during the warm months (and protected us completely from torrential downpour). I like this little place. Boat and wave runner parking. You can also get there by vehicle. You sit out on a large covered doc with a nice bar. Food good, nothing fancy but perfect for what you arrive for. Good mixed drinks and an all around great atmosphere. Sometime service can be a little slow, but look around while you wait and enjoy the scenery. The only negative is that the bathrooms are quite a ways from the doc. Geeze what is going on. Tuesday not too busy. Most people are drinking. We show up about 6ish with about 12, 7 being kids. Leaving now at 8:40 pm as the food never came out. We were told about 30 minutes initially since only one cook. You can do the time math. We were told about an hour into it that food was plated and just getting sauces. I forgot! One meal actually came out...the larry burger. Smaller than a half pound and was cold to the touch. I mean cold. Inedibly cold. Complete fail. One server crying because they knew it was a shit show. Great atmosphere! Usually have live music or a DJ on the weekends. Went over Memorial Weekend and were happy they had removed some tables to practice social distancing as much as possible- still was a great time. I checked out several restaurants on the lake because I wanted shrimp for dinner. I checked the menu and it said beer, battered shrimp. So I went to Larry's on the Lake to get shrimp. Ordered shrimp and it came back as coconut shrimp. I check the menu and it did not say anything about coconut. I had to pay for it they took eight dollars off but I had to order another dinner. We had our first boat ride of the season yesterday (5/11/22). It was dinner time--we didn't want to stop the fun and decided to pull into Larry's. I expected the norm - lake bar food. Just average then regret. We were proven wrong. Garrett our server was AMAZING!! Very attentive - running around (literally running) and very personable. We ordered fried green bean appetizer - WOW!! Very crisp and tasty!! Had the catfish nugget basket and the Buffalo chicken wrap. The food was ON POINT! Catfish nuggets were crisp and the meat was so white and flaky -- highly recommend!! The wrap was DELICIOUS. You can tell they took their time to prepare it and just didn't throw it together. My parents, my girlfriend, and I were hanging out at Larry's last night laughing and having fun. Then all of sudden, the owner decided to light a firework on the dock and it was extremely loud and scared all four of us. It was irresponsible, and childish. My dad is a 16 year older veteran and has PTSD. My girlfriend grew up in a really bad environment and a neighborhood where there were constantly shootings. She thought somebody was shooting at us along with my dad thinking the same thing. We went back to the cabin, and they both had panic attacks. This was not okay. I will NOT be going there EVER again. Not only that, they had a HUGE bug problem. Which i understand it was an outside thing, but every time i went to take a sip of my drink, i pulled AT LEAST two bugs out of it. I was NOT impressed. We wanted to order food, but the kitchen was closed? It wasn't even late so i'm not sure why that was a thing. After my dads wife had gone to ask who just set off the firework we were told it was the owner. He told us he warned us. Which he did NOT. otherwise, we wouldn't have been so scared. I had to go up twice to ask for drinks due to there being no servers. The place was basically empty, and the music was no fun. I only gave this place one star because the app makes you. If you want a bug filled drink, horrible service, and childish acts from the owner, this place is the one to go to! read more

Four Seasons, Lake Ozark, & Osage Beach lakeview restaurants are LUCKY that Larry's on the Lake is in Camdenton, or this place would steal everyone's business. Great pretzel burgers, great atmosphere, great lake view, great service, great menu, and they are sooo dog friendly and have awesome daily specials unique to the area! Long story short, I had a HORRIBLE experience with Shorty Pants Lounge in Osage Beach and Larry's on the Lake saved the day! Shorty Pants advertises and allows dogs when they feel like it... One day, I made a 25 minute commute with my 12 lbs dog and Shorty Pants kicked me out. I stumbled upon Larry's and called them to see if I could bring her. Not only did they apologize FOR Shorty Pants, they welcomed us with doggy treats & a water bowl! Great place!! And check out the photos I added! read more

I love the looks of this place and always go back to give them another chance. However I always regret it The service is so horrible! The food is very overpriced for the amount you get. the outside area has a huge fly problem. I realize we are outside and that happens. however, there are so many flies. i have been to many outdoor lake restaurants and none have been this overwhelming with flies. this last time i was there the waitress literally was sitting at a table talking to friends. we had no drinks refilled or bill when done eating for 40 minutes! i had to go over to the table twice to ask for my check and she said be right there but still didn't move. i will NEVER go back to this place again. don't be fooled by the looks of it. save your money and spend at the fish company or naughty fish. amazing service and food at both. read more

This is one of my family's go-to places on the lake but this past weekend I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the crab legs and they were brought out without any shuckers and no reasoning why. I asked the server and was told they were all being used. I then asked the waiter about 10 minutes later if there were now any clean ones so I could actually eat my food and he looked at me stunned, basically saying they just don't have any and whenever he asks the kitchen staff they don't know where they are. I thought it was terrible customer service to not tell me this ahead of time and then serve me food without the proper utensils. What a waste of $33 when you have to bare hand the crab legs only to get half the meat out of it. read more

We went for late lunch and arrived by car not boat. The limited off-season menu was available (covid, I get it) but the food was terrible. Sweet potato fries were soggy; taco salad shell was stale and the salad itself tiny. Music was super loud and distasteful. Seating is plastic picnic benches that are uncomfortable and easy to trip over. It would be helpful if lifejackets were available for kids since the restaurant is floating and feeding fish on the edge us encouraged. Lower your expectations. Although the atmosphere is cool they never get the orders right. Half of us received our food and most of it was wrong. When we finally found our waitress, we questioned it and the waitress did not know what was on the sandwich and claimed it was right. Arguing with us about what was on the sandwich when it clearly says on the menu what was supposed to be on it. After half of us got our food it took another 20 minutes for the rest of us to get our food. No one seemed to care or try and remedy the situation. We never received an apology or offer to comp with the exception of one item. In addition, they weren't able to split our checks and we had to scramble to do ious and figure out how to pay our friends back. Larry's on the Lake (or Larrywood as we like to call it) is quite a surprise. We didn't eat here, but the menu sure did look tempting. The drinks are some of the best, with Mango Margaritas at the top of the list! Prices are very reasonable and very transparent, which isn't always the case! We also loved their super creative 5$ shots- try a Blueberry Pancake! Trust me! Our waitress was hilarious, great service! read more

Heard this place was great but it's just delicious drinks with unappetizing burned burgers. Yes they are cooked on a grill open flame but that doesn't mean they should be crispy and charred.
