Since LuJia does not do dyes or other chemical treatment, there was no burned hair or chemical smell, which I usually dread going in. I asked for my very thick hair to be shortened and thinned to a low-maintenance haircut. LuJia suggested a v-shape cut, which was great for me because despite cutting it short, there is enough length to still tie it up. She also did a great job of thinning it, and my head feels a lot lighter! LuJia is very nice, and accommodating when I wanted to change my originally scheduled appointment. We had a great conversation during my cut. Unrelated to hair, I love that she uses reusable towels instead of paper towels in the bathroom, which is good for the environment. When I got there, we discussed what kind of haircut I wanted and she was very helpful with her suggestions; I was looking for a Korean-style haircut with long layers with face-framing. She is also very knowledgable about trending styles, since she's studied/practiced in Vietnam and Korea before. She did a great job with my haircut and made it feel super light and healthy, perfect timing right before summer. I really also liked the products that she used too, they smelled so good, and she finished off my haircut with a blowout/curls. I love my haircut and will definitely be returning again!
