I've been to a couple in the area and I just stumbled upon the Cupboard when I ate at a restaurant on Vine street. It's amazing just to go in walk around and take in everything that the store offers. The building itself is really cool. Everything is decently priced. There's stuff in this shop ranging all price ranges including a "baller" section that features a glass piece that is $40,000 along with many other pricy and crazy cool pieces. You have to check this place out.

Located only a few doors down from Bogart's is the Cupboard. The Cupboard has all of your tobacco pipe, smoking utilities, and sex toy needs. Their selection of glass pipes is pretty extensive. They have at least 3 counters filled with them. The Cupboard also has a good deal of jewelry and accessories for flower child in anyone. Towards the back of the store, you can find adult greeting cards, and a good amount of sex toys. The selection isn't as good as if you were going to a store that only sold toys, but they still have a decent amount of stuff. The employees are really good at checking I.D.s for anyone who comes in the store, even if you look old enough, so don't forget your I.D.!!

Two employees were literally lounging at the counter, ignoring customers. I had to find everything myself. When I went to the fitting rooms, they made me wait after buzzing twice, then told me I could only try on 2 sizes of one style because they were "closing soon." It was 7:48 p.m.--the store didn't close for another 12 minutes! Zero effort, zero customer service, and pure attitude. I left without buying a thing. This store clearly doesn't care about customers--I won't ever be back.

This location refused to sell me a sweatshirt last night that was on display! This was the last…read moresweatshirt in that size and color, but said they can't take it off display! This is a total lie. It wasn't even on a mannequin. It's just hanging on a hanger in the window. I worked in retail many years when I was younger and also have shopped at stores in US and other countries. EVERY store, even the most exclusive, will happily take something off display if that's the size or item you need. The salesclerk checked with a someone using her headset. They refused and very rudely told us, "feel free to buy it online!" We told the salesclerk it's sold out online, which of course, they already know. This is an $89 sweatshirt, by the way. Are they not in business of selling apparel? WTH? My guess is someone who works there wants the sweatshirt for themselves. I'm actually stunned by the way we were treated at this store. Apparently you can look at items they sell, but you can't actually buy something on a display. Absolutely ridiculous.

It's really big, it's very nice, and they just run a great club. The club, which opened in 1971, is now known as the Queen City Racquet & Fitness Club as it added a large fitness center, which includes Nautilus machines, free weights, a cardio room, aerobics, and spinning. Queen City's 13 indoor courts is probably second to none in the area, while it's seven outdoor clay courts is great too. Both the indoor and outdoor courts are often home to many tournaments including national and top regional junior events. In 2003 they added Platform Tennis courts (see photos), which is for the Platform Tennis game that is apparently a mix between tennis and racquetball. Although I've never played, I know people who have, and they enjoyed it. Platform tennis is one of the amenities that sets this club apart from most in the area. Queen City has long had a strong tennis program for both juniors and adults. While many of the top juniors in the area now play at Harper's Point or Five Seasons, Queen City has a history of developing top players and continues to run quality programs (clinics, camps, league play, private instruction) for both juniors and adults. I've played in and watched my older brother in many tournaments at Queen City, and the only real criticism I have is the tinted windows that make it seem dark outside (which of course is an extremely minute detail). The 180,000 square foot club also has indoor courts for racquetball and squash, a gym for basketball and volleyball, and an outdoor heated Olympic size pool. Also inside around the main lobby is a great snack bar/café, rooms for ping pong and pool, and nice locker rooms too. Although there has been lots of competition from Harper's over the years, and recently Five Seasons too, the Queen City Racquet Club continues to run successfully and is a great place for tennis and a lot more.
