Stopped by LaRosa's Pizza late one night after work, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the place was, including the bar area. I ordered the steak burger hoagie, and while it was on the smaller side, it was very tasty. Adding pizza sauce turned out to be a great choice--it matched perfectly with the hoagie. I also tried a pizza roll (forget the exact name), which was good but a bit greasy. My co-worker ordered the pizza, and both of us have been to some top-rated pizza spots across the Northeast and Midwest. Sadly, LaRosa's pizza didn't live up to those standards. The crust had a cardboard-like texture and lacked flavor, so I'd say it's a step above Little Caesar's, but not something I'd recommend. If you're looking for a good hoagie, LaRosa's has you covered, but I'd pass on the pizza. read more

as far as I know it's a very nice/ clean location. however because it's franchise, they aren't the same. I received a smaller pizza and it cost $1 more. needless to say, i wasn't happy. pizza still taste great and i might go again at some, but not unless i have to. This place was AMAZING!!! It is right by a Comfort Inn and Suites where we stayed for 2 nights. We went to this restaurant three times in three days; two dinners and a lunch. Between myself, my husband, and my son we tried almost everything on the menu and we agreed that everything we ate was all very good. The BBQ pizza especially was superb! There was also a great variety of food available, such that eating back to back meals wasn't too much of a repeat. Pizzas, fish and chips, hoagies, salads... smorgasbord galore! We had great service when we ate in; the staff was attentive and quick. We also had a good "carry out" experience. The facility was clean and not crowded; the prices were fair; and the whole atmosphere was friendly. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! read more

I wanted to update my review from 6 months ago due to the amazing service we received tonight. This is a frequent place for us -usually on a Friday night before a movie. Tonight we had a server, Sasha, who went above and beyond. She came to our table and explained it was her first night to serve by herself. She apologized in advance for any mistakes she may make because she was new. She certainly didnt need to do that at all -she was wonderful. Extremely nice, caring and professional. My drink was constantly refilled, and pizzas were spot on, as usual. She came back to check on us often, even when we did not need anything else. We used a Buddy Card -which is a fantastic value. The pizza here is always hot and delicious, and really good heated up the next day too. (which is why we love our Buddy card to take one home!) Its definitely our favorite place to go in Greendale, and thank you Sasha for the best service. read more

I like to do some sports betting in Indiana and I continue to wonder how long KY will continue to lose this possible revenue. If you like Italian food turn right coming off the Ky bridge and LaRosa's is right there. LaRosa's has so many excellent choices that it is always a tough decision on what to eat. They also have lots of different alcohol choices and tv s to watch the big games. Today my wife had garlic wings (see picture) and I had boneless wings with a bbq/garlic sauce that was really good. My side salad was also excellent. I will try their Sicilian Pizza next time. We also had an excellent server named Michael who is very friendly and he checked on us regularly. The restaurant and restrooms are also very clean. If heading to Casinos, this is a great place to eat! read more

I normally ask to sit at the bar and from now on I will because with all the running around waiting on tables and making and serving all the other waiters drinks they don't screw up my order. When you get your soup and pizza at the same time and say I didn't want this at the same time and they leave it then you have to ask for the soup to be taken off cause it's cold by time your done with your pizza is stupid. The staff is great and attentive. Prep takes average time. My wife loves LaRosa's. I do not. The last time I was there I ordered a steak hoagie with mayo, lettuce and tomato...it had little or no taste. The mayo was definitely not Hellman's OR Miracle Whip... It was more like a high school chemistry classes attempt to recreate salad dressing with only lab chemicals. I also had a side garden salad with ranch dressing. While the salad contents were good, their ranch dressing was HORRIBLE, I mean REALLY bad!!! I remember when I was in first grade that we had all tried library paste... Well this "ranch dressing" makes that library paste taste great by comparison. And if you like your pizza swimming in tomato sauce, with little cheese, you you will love LaRosas...my wife does!...go figure, I'm good quality and she likes me!!???? read more

I absolutely love LaRosa's but this store is by far the worst I've ever been to and I wish I could give them less than a one star review. After getting fed up with delivery problems, we started picking up our orders so we didn't have to wait an additional hour for them to fix their mistakes. After more problems we decided not to order from this store anymore. Out of desperation earlier this month, we decided to get delivery from this store and actually had a decent experience. We let our guard down after that order and decided to order from them tonight, which I admit was my mistake. Per the norm, the food quality was sub par and what seemed like a half order of kitchen chips, was given to me in a melted styrofoam container. Initially, I only saw the top of the box which didn't seem like a problem to me, but once I was home, I realized that it had melted through the bottom of the container as well. Throughout all of my complaints, the management at the store has been very nice and helpful except for one of the issues. Also, I have contacted the corporate customer service and they were especially nice and helpful. It should go without saying, but I will no longer use this store as they once again showed me that they can't function like every other LaRosa's store I've ever been to. read more

I always get it delivered with my family so I can eat it in my bed and it is always so good I get the chicken Alfredo just right combo and I get it with a salad I use my own dressing on it bot the salad is always good the pasta is always good too but sometimes they forget one little thing but all we do is call and like five minutes later they are at are house with the thing they forgot and it is like they never forgot it.Also if you forgot to ask for something in your order you can alway call and ask for it and they will add it and they will bring your foood the same time they would of sent in before that. read more

Man I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately that's what's about to happen. We stopped with a party of 7 as we were doing a little family lasagna eating challenge. The food was good as it usually is at Larosa's. They were a little heavy handed with the sauce (sorry I totally blanked on taking a picture of the lasagna before I dug in) but the lasagna was mostly good. The breadsticks were good and the minestrone soup was it should be. Our problem was with our waitress Shannon. She wasn't rude to us when she spoke but her demeanor was just very negative. More importantly than that was her just lack of attention to our table. Drinks laid empty for over a half hour before I eventually had to flag her down to which I got a noticeable eyeroll. After an hour and a half from when we came in the food arrived at the table. After that we never saw her again until once again I had to flag her down to get our check and a box. We really wanted to have a good time with this family challenge but unfortunately between all of the waiting and her negative attitude it really put a damper on our fun. Our experience started out well . We were checked in as a party of 5 and advised that a party of 5 would be 20-30 minutes . After 15 minutes they called us as a party of 3. After we advised it was supposed to be 5 people the hostess just disappeared . After another 10-15 minutes of waiting we had to grab another employee to check on the status of our table because literally every other person waiting had been called and the restaurant was barely busy. Our waitress was very nice but not attentive . We had to go Up to the bar to get our beer after waiting for 10 minutes and again for refills . Only plus side was that the food was good . read more

Let me start by saying I understand we need to be patient during these times, but that has limits. Quoted 25 minute wait time so agreed and 70 minutes later got seated after having to approach the hostess stand twice. Waitress came ten minutes later and said, "Sorry but nobody told me I was seated with a new table." It did improve from that point with good but not great service. The kitchen was fast and the pizza was good. Will just do carry out next time from a local restaurant. After waiting a total of about 80 to 85 minutes, the pizza arrived and we realized they didn't bring plates. Got my plate - and it had some leftover pasta from the previous customer. We went on Mother's Day and they said it would take 30 minutes to feed us so instead of sitting down I ordered my food because they said it would take 20 minutes to get. 40 minutes later after ordering my food I went up to the counter to find out what was taking so long. That's a long time to wait for your order. I ended up getting my order in over twice the time that they said I would get it. The other problem was the size of the portions. Which I did see on yelp that their prices are expensive and the portions are small. That is true. The portions are extremely small. You hardly get any french fries or homemade potato chips and the calzone is very small and the hoagies are way too small. I feel bad for my kids because they're still hungry. Also the french fries were cold and homemade fries or potato chips were also. The problem with that is I got the food supposedly when it came out so how could it be cold? Will that comes down to people who do not know how to cook food keep it coming out at the same time. Not sure if that last paragraph than any sense? Would I return? Yes, I would return. Why? Because the hoagies were very very tasty. Everyone of us that got one really liked them. But I would choose to call in an order my food. And I would have to order more hoagies then there are people just to fill us all. I would not waste the money for a meal that comes with chips or fries because they are cold and old anyway. I enjoy getting pizza here 90% of the time I order it to go and hop in and pick it up. The pizza taste fresh with the good toppings. The crust is tasty and this place is local to the tr-state. Good pizza and Good Cal-zones. I never get sides as they never look like they are worth it. Make it easy on yourself and ask for paper plates and napkins. You also have the option if you want it cut in squares or pie shaped. try one of each and decide for yourself it's just that easy. On a positive side I did not see any Dragons or Bears so you should be safe from those two things. It's located near a movie theater and a Hotel So if you tired after the movie and more tired after eating you can get a room next door or be responsible and eat moderately. Visiting the ark encounter on a Tuesday and the creation Museum on Wednesday. It's amazing how many little hole places We're not open. Saying that...this lovely Italian restaurant WAS. Right next to our hotel.(Reviews to come about our hotel) ...As my husband and granddaughter has stated just now the food was delicious and the service was excellent. So we're giving this joint a 4 star..... The place was very clean ....My granddaughter and I had spaghetti's and meatballs which were very flavorful...My husband has a calzone....The waitress was very very attentive. Usually don't have issues with this laRosa's but the last 2 visits have been poor. The food is good, but the TIME and SERVICE has been terrible. We had to wait over an hour after placing our order for our food. Then the waitress(s) were overwhelmed or slow. The last one we had a few weeks ago I had to stop and ask multiple times for things and then when she brought up are refills on drinks she had her wallet tucked under her arm and putting her tips away while dropping off our drinks. Not everything is terrible about LaRosa's; however, the one-star mainly goes to the pizza. Everyone, especially out-of-town visitors, please take the time to read this and listen carefully. Let's start from the beginning. My brother and I went to LaRosa's for dinner as we have in the past. We normally get the baked royals, salads, and wings, which are pretty tasty and recommend to those who go to any LaRosa's. This time, though, we decided to try a LaRosa's pizza. We've tried the pizza before and, namely, do not like the provolone cheese on the pizza. Instead of ordering the unnatural provolone cheese that slides completely off the pizza after you pull away from taking a bite, we tried to fix this. We ordered a large, create your own pizza with mozzarella cheese. Next, we ordered two strawberry daiquiris and a family salad. The server was attentive to our needs, so no problem existed at this point. The pizza came out relatively quickly, which was about 15 minutes from the time we ordered. When the pizza came into view, though, my brother and I were speechless. The pizza had mozzarella clumps. Yes, I said clumps! The cheese was not equally dispersed throughout the entire pizza . . . . Next, the pizza was closer to cold than hot, the bottom of the pizza was too flimsy, and the thin crust could be broken in half like a tasteless toothpick. I couldn't (and still can't) believe I paid close to $20 bucks for this pizza. When we told the server about the cheese problem, the server said "That's why I wanted to know if you guys wanted it with mozzarella. People tend to send it back after seeing it." Unfortunately, she never mentioned anything about the clumps and common disfavor toward the mozzarella pizza. When I took a sip of the usually decent tasting daiquiri, the rum in it was too much! Perhaps 30% of it was straight rum. My brother claims his daiquiri had about 50% rum. The manager came to listen to our problems, which is expected. But not once did we hear an apology. The manager said mozzarella cheese only comes in cubes, so melting it on pizza is not ideal. The server then came by again and told us that she did not know that the pizza came like that. We'ed believe her if she hadn't said anything about people sending mozzarella pizzas back. We did not appreciate the dishonesty. Being that LaRosa's is known for pizza, the pizza should be the hero and not the villain! If you want great pizza in Lawrenceburg, Indiana; order from the Hops House 99 in the Hollywood Casino, Papa John's, or Dominos. We went to the greendale larosas around 1:45 on a Friday afternoon with some friends from out of town. It took us about 15 minutes to be sat because all of the tables were dirty. When we were finally sat, we were taken to a table that was not nearly big enough for 6 people plus a high chair. The high chair had to be placed at the end of the table, which was in the doorway of the kitchen, so my toddler had servers nearly tripping with trays of food next to him the whole time. We ordered our food then waited around 30 minutes for our salads, during which time, almost our entire table had empty drinks. We finally got our salads then our food followed maybe 5 minutes later. Once we were finished eating, we paid and asked for a box but our server never came back with a box. We had to grab our own from a server station. It was all around a bad experience read more
