I put in a 10 mile search radius in the area on Google and after a few phone calls settled on a short list with Willistown Auto Repair among them. I decided to give them a shot and I am glad I did. In this world where integrity is scarce its good to see some businesses still exist where that matters. I had a lot of repairs that where needed to get my SUV through inspection. I had to spread out the repairs so as to budget them in with my paychecks. Each time they gave me a quote on a job they stuck to the price. No last minute suspicious surprises on my bill just straight up what they told me they'd be. The repair work was high quality, prices reasonable and there were quick turn arounds - No more than 48hrs on any of the three repairs. In search of a 4Runner that was within budgetary needs I went out using the normal website automotive sites. They do hold their value and are dependable as a Toyota should. The pictures along with the description looked very nice, showing a 1 owner, 1 minor accident Car-Fax, minor front showing the car was at the dealership for some time last reported at 50,414 miles. The price was reduced a few times as the truck sat at the dealership. 50,414 miles 179 days ago. 54,422 at delivery. Rotors shaved twice in 179 days - Truck shakes terribly at 60+ Transparency and I would have paid to replace. (The website advertisement showed 4k miles more in writing. Sometimes Employees use traded cars for their personal transportation to and from work. ok. I know that all well. Sometimes the service department charges the Sales Department internally crazy high items that for the most part, should be performed anyway by law to place a car on the road safely. Just me. The Dealership's GM makes money on all aspects of the Dealership. Sales/Service and Parts... All goes upstairs.... My 2021 Camry TRD with 10,343 miles was appraised and that number was fair. Holy @#%^... - the wobble begins and forget about emergency braking. Please don't drive in front of me for a while.) When I asked about the difference in the pictures taken 150+ days ago, why did the speedometer show 50,414 and now 54,444... (It's a good truck.., , You'll love it..) Not that the GM didn't have a brand new TRD Pro 4Runner parked outside and might have used and abused the Truck for a few months on the Schuylkill. ) That Red Flag... Fine sounds good, but after this the car was driven 120 miles, clearly as a daily driver. I let this go because at least someone looked at it, and really nothing I could do. However the extremely aggressive sticker you decided to put on my paint without asking is completely ridiculous. Got it off finally with a hair dryer but have paint damage now from trying to pick it off. I dont understand a car dealership ever puts something on someone's car without permission. Completely unprofessional. Adding this...like other customers, I found they replaced my license plate cover with their own shops, where I did not buy the truck from. They really have some weird idea about letting a truck pass through without slopping their name all over it. If you drop your truck here, be sure to allocate time after for removing their stickers from your paint and having to replace your plate cover so they cant make a roving billboard out of you.

Before dropping off my car, I told the shop I only wanted an initial estimate because I might pay out of pocket. My insurer had warned me it wouldn't cover storage or administrative fees, so I asked directly whether the shop charged them. I was told, "We wouldn't charge those for cars we are working on." After drop-off, the shop sent me a "work authorization form" to sign on my phone while I was at work. It listed no fee amounts, only that fees were posted in the shop. It also included a letter to my insurer, which no one mentioned, saying I had requested an inspection. I hadn't. When my insurer scheduled its adjuster for several days later, I called to pick up my car. I was told taking it would delay things, so I left it there. The shop then charged storage for every one of those days. Nine days after drop-off, the shop told me repairs would cost about $2,850 more than my insurer approved. I declined within the hour. Only then did the shop say it would "generate charges for services rendered." The bill: 10 days of storage at $127 a day starting the day I dropped the car off (half discounted), a $400 administrative fee, and a $201 scan. My card was also charged a 4% "convenience fee" that wasn't on the itemized bill and that I never agreed to. For comparison, the shop that repaired my car charges $95 a day for storage, and only for cars left for weeks. When I raised my concerns at pickup, the clerk was dismissive and didn't offer to escalate. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Conestoga Collision. If you do use them, get every fee in writing before you leave your car, and read every page of anything you sign.
