Tires were also overinflated to random pressures. They're highly reviewed and seem like nice people, so maybe my experiences are the outlier. You decide. LONG VERSION: Some needed context: I check my lug nuts after every service because years ago another shop returned a car with lug nuts so loose that I had to pull over because the wheels were making noises as I drove home. Anyway, United Tire had a promo for a free alignment and could install tires the next day. I'd gotten an alignment and tire rotation there a few years ago but they didn't tighten the lug nuts properly - almost every one needed to be tightened. One wheel's lug nuts were so loose I could turn some by hand. I called and Lenny was apologetic and thanked me for letting him know and said something to the effect of "Ugh, I just talked to him about that!", so it seemed like an ongoing thing but I hoped they'd gotten it sorted out by now. Fast forward to now and after getting home I checked the lug nuts and they were WAY too tight this time. The spec is 94 ft-lbs, and my torque wrench doesn't measure breakaway torque, but with 14-in breaker bar it took almost all of my 185lb weight to loosen them. I jacked up each wheel and loosened and re-torqued them all, alternating between nuts and loosening in tiny increments to avoid snapping them. Unfortunately, one stud probably needs to be replaced because it has damaged threads that bind. The tires should be inflated to 32 PSI, but when I checked them cold the next morning they varied from 35-39 PSI. So another thing I needed to redo. United Tire offers lifetime tire rotation and while that sounds great, I don't know if I can take advantage of it. It doesn't save money to get free tire rotation but then need to replace damaged studs or lug nuts. If they could just tighten lug nuts properly, I'd probably keep going there. But they failed twice in different ways. And if they can't torque lug nuts, can I be sure the alignment was done right? After the free alignment I need to keep the steering wheel turned a little in order to go straight. It wasn't like that before. Every nut or bolt on a car can be over or under-torqued. This is the most basic stuff and unfortunately they've disqualified themselves for me. But maybe I'm the outlier.

Regarding the Jamie L. review he is full of shit.I was at the store when Jamie L. called and Joe Palmer had him on speaker phone so i heard the whole conversation. Joe P. told Jamie L. he couldn't pass the car because the wipers could not remove the sap on the windshield and that the wipers just made the sap worse. Joe P. told him he could buy wipers anywhere and put them on in his parking lot and if they got rid of the sap he would pass the inspection. It is my opinion and my first amendment rights to say Jamie L. is a spoiled little baby when he doesn't get his way. I gave Joe P . a standing ovation after he hung up because of the way he handled the baby.Professionalism at it's best P.S.Just so you know Jamie L. all the phone calls to Meineke are recorded. It is the first statement on the recorded message when you call Meineke. Everything you would want in a car service store. My only drawback is they overcrowd their parking area consistently and started the work without my specifically saying. Long story short, they installed a Centerforce clutch (that i did supply, brand new) and from the jump I've had issues with it going into 1st or reverse as we as experiencing significant chatter. Upon picking it up verbatim was "we had a hell of a time bleeding that thing." I was told the 1st 2 times i brought it back this was normal. The Jeep sat for weeks untouched one of those times. It then left me stranded on the side of the road requiring a tow in August. To Main Line Transmission's credit they did repair it after having me supply a new slave cylinder at no charge, telling me i needed to buy them all lunch instead. I told them i would be happy to do so after we knew it was definitely fixed this time, given my experience to that point. I had limited opportunity to drive it since then, sub 200 miles, and its giving me the same issues. I called and left a voicemail before and never heard back. Called again just now and the front desk guy went off on me saying its faulty parts and to call back in a few weeks and they would see if they could get me in before going off on a tirade about how they are not at fault. My ask was simply if they could try bleeding it again based upon describing the issue to Centerforce and them recommending it based on those symptoms. 5 minutes later, Scott i believe was his name, the tech that claims to have worked on the Jeep called back, also yelling at me CALLING ME A DUMBASS repeatedly and how dare I question his work - which i wasn't... He then after that told me to bring the Jeep back, which clearly isnt happening. Overall an extremely poor experience and very evident they do not care about their customers, and worse yet are extremely unprofessional. I spent nearly $2k and im left with a vehicle i dont trust and got yelled at by multiple employees there for it. To date since install ive only put around 2k miles on the Jeep with about 200 since the last issue. Find someplace else, especially if you have a current generation Wrangler as these guys DO NOT stand by their work and have a massive ego problem.
